another great haircut by hyissa! I had an appointment at the salon last night. this was my second with hyissa. I’m always curious to see how the second cut with a new stylist will go. she did a fantastic job. she is very patient and meticulous. again, she understands my needs and doesn’t make me feel crazy for asking for certain modifications to a cut. AND, the salon was offering BUY ONE GET TWO on certain products. I got three verb products for $ 14! the haircut price increased from $ 37 (from what I recall) to $ 40, which was unexpected a minor disappointment, but i’ll pay this for a good haircut. I’ve paid way more for terrible cuts and service. go to the salon! you won’t regret it.

I was referred to A Janet Lynne Salon from a friend on the island who suggested I check them out for my hair and makeup for my destination wedding. It is always hard to plan a big day like this when you don’t live somewhere. But I went to the salon for a consultation and met Jessica and Mandi. Both were great in helping me decide what I wanted for my big day. Then they provide a great «trial run» for my mother and myself. The day of the wedding, they came to our hotel and did hair and make up for us and the bridal party. Everything was great. They were fun and professional. My hairs and make-​up stayed flawless for almost 12 hours in the heat, humidity and wind of a beach wedding in Florida in June. Thank you!

The pedicure here was not at all relaxing. The lady insulted my color choice, nail shape, tan lines and it was painful the whole time.
First, I come in and choose a color (purple) nothing to drastic or dramatic. She looks at me and says really?! with a weird look in her face. Then I sit down and she insults my tan lines (I get it I was burned no need to point it out, just do your job!). Then she tells my she doesn’t like my square shaped nails and she will round them out. I was in shock and just said ok.
The whole time she was working on my feet I kept moving them and she obviously knew it was painful but continued on in the same manner.
Just an overall horrible experience and waste of money.

Lovely little salon & spa. Very nice quick haircut for me. Carley Simeone was great to deal with and gave me a very professional men’s haircut for a great price. Short wait, nicely decorated, and seemed to be ready to handle any need a client might have for hair styling. thanks Carley!
