I really wanted to like this place as it’s owned by the daughter in law of the redfront, but it’s newly opened-ness showed when we were here on our last trip. The honey’s chicken was well spiced and quite delectable, but my tri tip was overly chewy. The side that came with, the spiced apples were fantastic, as were the green beans(though others may find them over-salted) but unfortunately my stomach really disagreed with me after the meal and I’m wont to blame it on the tri tip since I’m not sure it was cooked correctly nor all that great a cut. Sadly the room was also quite cold(the building is a re-vamped Victorian) and the tables with their black color don’t seem welcoming or homey. Our waitress was sweet but didn’t know what kind of gravy was being used or what it was made from. «Brown» is not so much an answer. I’d like to drop back in when we’re visiting again because I think this place has potential, I just think they need to give more thought to ambiance as well as the cuts and seasonings they use.
