Factory Direct Windows

Went online with Puget Sound Energy to request quotes for new windows. Shirley from Factory Direct Windows called to schedule an appointment and John from Factory Direct Windows came to our home to measure and provide a quote (Both Shirley and John are so nice and do not push you, they handled all the financing too, we never stepped foot into a bank), we ordered 21 windows from Factory Direct, and had them installed today 10.27.15 by Bill (BC Windows LLC). I was very impressed with Bill and his team… for the following reasons. Showed up as scheduled and right on time, very professional and courteous. Tarps were used to protect the interior, and after each window was installed, the crew vacuumed the interior then polished each pane. We even had a hornets nest beside of the windows, Bill’s employee graciously took care of the matter for me. All debris was picked up and my exterior grounds were left just as it was found. My windows are BEAUTIFUL. This was the first time I ever had new windows installed (yet 21 windows), I was nervous as I’ve heard negative stories regarding other contractors, however, I am SO PLEASED I went with Factory Direct Windows and got Bill and his crew from BC Windows to do the install. Thank you!

Excellent and professional service! We had to replace all of the windows plus a sliding glass door while renovating our older home. Our new windows look amazing, and our home is much less drafty on cold winter days. We love our new windows and couldn’t believe how reasonable their pricing was for the install. Shirley and John are super friendly and easy to work with, this is a fantastic family owned and locally operated business.

Would not do business with again. Seemed knowledgable, but extremely poor workmanship. We removed casements for staining and installer Bill (BC Windows LLC) was IRATE & accused us of costing him an extra 45 minutes of work. Left glass in yard, gobs of caulking visible, & wrong size flashing (that looks like crap). Charged $ 150 to set up scaffolding (on top of original quote) and then used OUR scaffolding that we had against another wall for painting. Removed window nailing fins before arriving on site (because they wanted to get in and out), so we couldn’t even ask that they be installed with them on — no concern for craftsmanship. Bob just shrugged off concerns, saying «he’s been doing this for almost 20 years». Do NOT recommend.
