Really great pizza! Fresh and hot delicious tasting ingredients! Cute little environment with chalkboards of the tables I don’t like really greasy pizza and this one is not really Greasy! The cookies are also delicious!

My 2nd review in many years. The other involved worms in my kid’s food. Congrats, Brother Doug’s! You were horrible enough to get one. The«breadsticks» we’re literally the most bland flour strip you could imagine. Any store bought would seem like top flight. I can’t believe anyone other than family or a close friend would give this anything other than 1. It really was a zero. I had pizzas in college for $ 5 that I plowed through for basic eating. I ate 1.5 pieces of their garlic bread crap and didn’t finish a 2nd piece of pizza. Should have just burned 20 bucks on the back yard and made a Totino’s.

I wish that I didn’t have to write this review, but someone has to call out all the positive reviews this place receives. The pizza here looks visually appetizing, but the crust was undercooked. The sauce is slightly sweet but with a strange wet herb flavor. I would rather have several different brands of frozen pizza. The restaurant was full and staff seemed frazzled. I am puzzled and somewhat pissed that all these positive reviews led me to try this place. It brings me no joy to put down a local business but I’m not going to blow smoke.

I’ve been meaning to try brother doug’s since it opened a few months ago, but hadn’t managed to get up to fishers since then. When I saw they were opening on Sunday for the Super Bowl, I took it as a sign to take the plunge. We arrived about 45 minutes early than our scheduled pickup, due to a miscommunication. If that happens to you, I recommend you walk about 100 yards north to Heady Hollow Brewery and have a few pints. Back to the pizza. Brother Doug’s offers an 8″ personal pizza. We had a party of 3, so we decided to have a sampler style meal and ordered 4 personal pizzas to share. We also tried the bacon spirals. We tried the BLT, Cajun, Margherita, and Thai chicken pizzas. Each was delicious and clearly made with quality ingredient, but the BLT easily stole the show. I can honestly say I’ve never had mayonnaise on a pizza, and while I questioned it at first, it was uniquely delicious. The bacon spirals were kind of an afterthought. I don’t know what I expected, but they were dry and desperately needed some sort of dipping sauce. If you live in Fishers, this should be one of your regular pizza stops. The 8″ pizza would easily feed one person and are priced perfectly at $ 7 – 8.

I must admit that I’ve started to consider the Fishers strip center where Brother Doug’s Pizza Café is located to be a bit of a retail death march after the recent demise of Wise Guys Pizza and Wyliepalooza, though we at least still have Wyliepalooza in Irvington and Brownsburg. That said, I’m a sucker for an indie pizza joint and Brother Doug’s Pizza Café moved in about four months ago in the spot previously occupied by Wise Guys. Brother Doug’s has maintained the basic interior design, though the«wise guys» theme is gone in favor of a more spiritually centered yet fun ambience. Brother Doug, aka owner Doug Jeschke, began his love for pizza working for a Godfather’s Pizza while in high school before life took him away through careers in law and mediation. As was true with Wise Guys, Brother Doug’s isn’t the most wheelchair friendly place in the world given the built-in limitations of the relatively small space. I did notice that the strip center has modestly improved accessible parking and with the end business in the center now occupied even the previously horrid ramp at the end has been improved. The front door to Doug’s is a relatively light glass door. As you enter, you have a small group of tables to the right, these being the only true seating options for a wheelchair, along with a series of wooden booths on the left — each booth in the restaurant has a chalkboard next to it with chalk — I love this and you could tell where children had used them. Brother Doug’s offers delivery, carry-out and dining in. They offer a daily lunch special, $ 6.95 for an individual pizza w/2 toppings along with a drink and either a side salad or garlic strips. For an extra $ 2, you can make that individual pizza one of their specialty pizzas. They also offer other daily specials, though it’s worth noting that they are closed on Sunday. They offer Pepsi products, iced tea, and Sobe Lifewater along with a handful of bottled options. Brother Doug’s is also stressing community involvement including a «pizza forward» program that can be used to either reward a deserving recipient or to offer a hand-up to someone in need — check their nicely done website for details. They also support charitable efforts in the community and have a «pizza of the month.» You could tell they were service-oriented — I was checked on regularly, but not intrusively, and I was offered two refills. My entire meal came in at less than $ 8.00, though their normal daily prices outside specials are fairly in line with most indie pizza joints. They also offer sandwiches, salads, calzones, appetizers and recently added wings. The pizza reminded me a bit of old school Pasquale’s, a pizza I grew up with and loved. If you would weave together Godfather’s with Pasquale’s you’d probably get a sense of what to expect here. The individual pizza was nicely sized with nicely proportioned toppings, while the garlic strips included 4 strips that were quite good. There’s a part of me that wants to serve up that fifth star, though I’ll admit that’s as much because I really liked the owner and you really got the strong sense of this being a locally owned, family joint. While reviews would indicate Brother Doug’s can be a bit hit-and-miss, I get the feeling they’re still feeling their way around things and Doug himself acknowledged they’re still learning. While they may lack the gimmicky wood-burning options and the atmosphere is more casual than truly comfortable, Brother Doug’s is a friendly, affordable and tasty addition to the Fishers pizza scene and an easy drive up Allisonville Road for Indy’s Northsiders. I’m not quite willing to call it one of Central Indiana’s best, but it’s a good pizza at a good price and a local business you’ll be proud to support AND they’ll be proud to support the community. Win/Win.

I thought I had previously written a review of our meal from Brother Doug’s, but apparently not. We tried BD’s at the suggestion of our friend who knows the owners well and just raved about their pizza. We actually called a couple of days prior to them being open, unbeknownst to us, because we were really excited about a new pizza joint. Pro: Delivery! I was surprised that they delivered to our house since we are well north of their location, but that was good news. Con: The pepperoni breadsticks/spirals were very dry and the dough had little to no flavor. The pizza tasted like store bought pizza and the crust had NO flavor. None. Say what you want about a chain like Domino’s or Papa John’s, but their crust has flavor! To be honest with you, the entire pizza was disappointing. It was very greasy on the bottom, making the pizza incredibly limp and soggy. I wish I had taken a picture of it. We actually threw away most of our order, and that is saying a LOT from folks who love pizza! Was this a fluke? Was this the«we just opened» bugs being worked out? I saw another review where the owner posted a response stating that they have been making pizzas for 25 years, so I really am perplexed. The friend who referred us to BD’s never asked us what we thought, and for that I am thankful. Again, they are BIG fans. We aren’t. Would I try it again? That’s hard to say. Maybe if we had a 50% off Groupon we would give it another shot. But there are too many pizza places in Fishers to choose and you REALLY need to on your«A» game every single time. I hope the best for this place because other reviews indicate that the owners are nice and want to make a go of it. It takes more than desire. Good luck!

First time ordering from this place. Online ordering is easy and the delivery time of 30 minutes was accurate. We orderes calzones and were impressed, though there was no «bite» to the buffalo sauce. The chicken tasted like it was good quality, from a nice cut.

This is my go to pizza restaurant. The new olive bread is to die for and the pepperoni spirals are downright delicious. Appreciate the fact that it’s a family owned restaurant and that Doug gives back to the community. Love the variety of interesting pizzas such as the Thai chicken also one of my favorites and the option of other items such as the wings.

We order from brother Doug on Fridays for pizza night. Never had a bad item over 10+ orders. Dough is fresh and great tasting. The kids love this cheese pizza more than any others in the fishers area. The specialty pizzas we have tried have all been good, just order what sounds good based on your taste and you won’t be disappointed(we love ham and green olive and this one is superb). Support a great local place and skip the chains, you won’t be disappointed. Delivery is fast too, ordered online tonight and Doug was 15 min faster than the estimated delivery time. Great addition to Fishers.

Order two calzones and cheese sticks. Cheese sticks were pretty good, but calzones were both slightly burnt on bottom but barely cooked on top. One calzone barely had filling but the other one was pretty good. Dough is pretty flavorless but depends on what you like. Fast and friendly but not the best pizza in fishers.

Can tell all is made fresh and from scratch. Their Crust was not my thing. Very dense and kind of bland, but cooked well. My wife liked it. We got a large sausage and ½ green pepper. The sausage and cheese quality and quantity was above average, but I can’t comment on the green pepper quality because there was so little of it. Was hard to tell which side actually had the green pepper on it. Really really light on it. Delivery was exactly how they had predicted, so, good there. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food and the quality. Overall, very good. Next time, I hope to get more green pepper.

Brother Doug’s deserves a welcome hug to the Fisher’s area. In-house made crust and sausage with loads of cheese fresh toppings served with genuine smiles, not to mention chalk boards at the tables for the young and young at heart; this place made my heart and tummy happy. Brother Doug’s is family owned, local, and comes with that midwest charm(and often coupons!).

Great addition to the Fisher’s Pizza scene. We ordered a surf & turf pizza and a salad to split. Everything was excellent. The owner came out to the table and shared his story and his love of pizza. This place has all the makings of a perfect neighborhood pizza place. The toppings were excellent, the crust was exactly the way we like it and it warmed up great. The owner seemed to actually care about who we were and what he could do to make our dining experience be perfect. We are fairly new to the Fishers community and are slowly working our way around to the more unique pizza places… and this one may very well be our go-to place. We will be back.

Fantastic pizza! Actually tastes homemade and didn’t take terribly long. Chalkboards at the tables to help to entertain kids– and they can watch them make the pizzas too! Breadsticks were good but not out of this world. Cheesy bread picture looked better. Ha

We LOVE Brother Doug’s! We have liked everything we have tried but our favorites are the pepperoni spirals, Thai Chicken pizza and BLT pizza. The tuna melt is very good as well. The pepperoni spirals are AMAZING and are a great meal for kids or an appetizer. Their specialty pizzas are unmatched in the pizza world. We will definitely be going back!
