OMG this could have been good. Just go for the bowling and beer. The food is all most inedible as evident by all of the ½ eaten food everywhere. If it wasn’t burnt it was cold or undercooked. Some specifics. Liquor and beer selection was great. I would go back just for that. Food and food service left us wondering if we were getting food poisoning. Took close to an hour from the time we ordered our food until it was served. They comped us a chip and dip plate 40 minutes in since it was taking so long. The dips on this plate were scary. Cheese dip was watery and had a plastic film on it. The guacamole was a neon green and tasted like sour paste. Then the salsa was just tomatoes of different consistencies. If this was that ratchet we could only wait to see how bad the food was. When the food arrived it was sad. The nachos plater was black and burnt on the edges and the cheese in the middle was hard and cold. This must have sat on the line for 45 minutes while the rest of the food was heated up. The two beef sandwiches were lukewarm. They obviously needed to be microwaved more. The fries were cold and soggy and almost undercooked. The bread sticks we got were undercooked puffballs. I guess that beats the burnt nachos. It dumbfounded me how bad all the food was in a heat and served prepackaged food service was here. How do you make nachos So Bad. You would get better food from a vending machine. This really could win a nightmare kitchen episode. So I would skip all food and stick to the beer and bowling. That’s about all they can’t screw up.

Really wanted to bowl but the staff was too busy to clean the private suite apparently. A 30 minute wait turned to almost an hour before we gave up.

Conveniently located off 37 between 136 and 141. Near several restaurants on the 37 corridor. Full bar and food service. Weekend deal of $ 10 all you can pull from 10:00 — 1:00. Also has volleyball courts and a tiki bar for warmer weather. DJ plays in the evening.

Very family friendly. Have brought my(adult) sister and parents here, and we’ve all had a great time. Once we experienced trouble with a lane, and they came and moved us to another one. The restaurant inside is very tasty and probably merits its own review, but Pinheads is very clean. We head here whenever we want to bowl(usually when it’s too cold or hot to do anything outside!).

My husband and I love coming here! However, we have had to move lanes every time we’ve been there. Mostly due to very young children who can barely walk on the lanes. They roll balls everywhere(as in NOT toward the pins). I have hurt my arm because a child kept walking behind me when I was swinging to avoid hurting him. I have had teenagers run AT me as I’m swinging. Another problem we have had is people screaming. I don’t mind cheering, but loud screaming is obnoxious and distracting. I have had to watch people getting VERY sexual(grinding, groping, etc) with each other while we’re bowling. Nonetheless, in front of children. I don’t understand why staff will take a party of 2 – 4(us!) And stick a group of 10+ people in the same seating area when there are several free areas. The seating areas for each group of lanes is WAY too small for that. The staff are absolutely wonderful and a joy to talk to, but they need to care a little more about the people coming in. They let anyone do whatever they want with no respect toward the courteous customers. This drives people away and brings in the wrong crowd. I think Pinheads is wonderful, but I think the owners need to lay some ground rules for patrons. I.e. age limits for children on the lanes

The bowling was as expected and decent. The arcade is mostly just redemption and simulation games but the prizes are low priced fortunately. The main attraction is the ITG2 Dedicab, a rare gem amist the lack of dance game support in the area. If your close-by, pay this place a visit.

This is about the only sort of entertainment for the family actually in the city of Fishers, awesome venue. The place is enormous, they’ve got a bar that’s fairly priced. Got super drunk one night, all I can say is what happens at the bowling alley stays at the bowling alley. There’s an open dance floor if you feel the need to get down in between frames, and the buffalo wings aren’t too bad. Tons and tons of lanes, though it’s a bit pricey but it all makes sense. Hope this place stays around for years and younger generations get up out of the house and experience the fun we all used to have.

Went here for my birthday get-together last weekend! Living just down the road from this place, I had never stepped foot in it until now. What the heck is wrong with me? :) Pinheads is huge, tons of lanes, tons of arcade games, and a really great restaurant connected to it. After doing a bit of research, I found that they have these really great bowling suites off in the back that you have to have at least a party of 16 in order to reserve, BUT by the grace of God, these suites are also open to the public if no one has rented or reserved the space for that day. When we arrived, there were some groups in the suites at the time, so we ordered some drinks and chilled in the restaurant by the fireplace while we waited. After about 20 minutes, we were alerted that the room was open and we went back… because no one else was in there, we had the whole place to ourselves! Who knew you could do this?!? We had about 6 girls and the drinks and food were flowin! We had overhead music playing and the football game was on the big screen. We had a blast! I would recommend Pinheads to anyone with a group that wants to have fun and definitely be sure to inquire about the bowling suites! I believe it’s $ 39.95 per hour plus $ 6 per game/person and of course your shoe rental of about $ 3. The food was great, tons of options. Take the kiddos, plan a girls night, DOIT!

I took the kids here after school one day for bowling and was surprised that they have more to offer. Pinheads offers a restaurant with a good selection of choices as well as an adult beverage Center for parents. The arcade was reasonably priced and all considered the family had a very good time!

The kids love the arcade and the DJ more than the bowling, but I like it because we can all get out and they can play while I enjoy a beer(they have Sun King — always a plus). The pizza here is surprisingly good for bowling alley pizza. It can get quite expensive for bowling + shoe rental, so this is a sometimes activity for us. I think we’d go more frequently if it were less pricey.

I played in a sand volleyball league here, and it was a blast! I have had quite a few menu items that were all excellent. The bowling alley is very clean and has a fun atmosphere.

3.5. Pinheads is a higher cost, generally cleaner place than a lot of bowling establishments I have been too. On both occasions we have had a corporate event in the south room and it’s nice to have a room with lanes(and bathroom!) to yourself. But seriously… no coat hooks? Minor complaint I know but c’mon…20 people with coats scattered to trip over. Food is serviceable and decent. I thought the bartender was kind of an ass on the night we went(bad night)? Positive is Sun King Wee Mac on tap. Larger place than most. Plenty of games for the kids in addition to bowling along with the attached Louie’s bar. I will be back but this isn’t a «boy I can’t wait to get back there» sort of place.

LOVETHISFREAKINPLACE! I could play In here for hours. The food is surprisingly amazing! I love the bartender in the bowling alley on the weekends because who loves quick strong drinks? This girl. The tiki bar is basically the best thing in this county when it’s warm out. I actually feel like I’m on a mini vaca just sitting out there. I just wrote a crap review for Britton because I hate that place and noticed, hey… I’ll give props to Pinheads since they actually seem like they know what they’re doing. I’d rather come here any day. It just keeps getting better and better. Thumbs up guys

Went to an event here about a month ago. My boss recommended it, but I was definitely not blown away, or even impressed in the slightest. Their private rooms are certainly nice, with plenty of seating and a quieter atmosphere than the larger bowling room, but I really didn’t see the appeal of the entire establishment. To start with, there was no one at the bar to take my drinks order. Eventually, I just walked over to the food counter, thinking I’d get a soda and some food. Two high school age girls were standing behind the counter, one doing something with a pizza near the back, the other engrossed with something on her phone and completely ignoring the three customers at the counter. After seeing the list of food items, which were all greasy bowling alley options for double the price of most bowling alleys, I decided to just go with a soda. Eventually, the girl working with the pizza came over and took my order. I asked the girl for a Coke, no ice. She pointed to the cooler and asked if I wanted a bottle instead, which was nice of her, I guess. I got a bottle of soda(which cost waaaay too much, considering I could have gotten the same thing from a machine for $ 1.25) and walked away. The only redeeming quality of my entire experience was the woman working the shoe counter. She was friendly and helpful, quickly asking for my shoe size and pointing me in the direction of the private party room. Overall though, not a place I would go back to unless I was invited and it was free.

We’ve taken the kids there as part of the«kids bowl free» program and we’ve attended a company party in one of the back rooms. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon/evening with your family and friends. It’s a little on the high end with rates & shoe rental but the food is reasonable and there’s a game room for additional entertainment. We’ve only been in the bar once — usually we’re with kids. But it appears there is always something entertaining being offered on the weekends and now they have an outdoor«tiki bar». We’ll have to make an effort to check that out.

Really great time at pinheads. Fri and sat nights are cosmo bowl and the kids go nuts! There is a DJ a dance floor and kids having fun. The food is bar food but a little more expensive than bar food. Generaly super clean and the staff is always pleasant. — — - Parties. had my kiddos party there. staff was great. the suite was comfortable as well! Definite recommend you go there

Pros — non smoking, pretzels Cons — expensive, filthy floors, ridiculous oil pattern for house bowlers(casual bowlers won’t notice), not friendly, poor food quality to price ratio. I prefer coopers or woodland

Used to live very nearby here and went a few times. Very kid friendly but kind of luxury bowling for adults with great drink prices and leather couches! The only downside was that it can be VERY loud when there is a DJ in the house… and no the music… the DJ’s voice. Ugh. And reservations can be a bit pricey. Loved the atmosphere though and the food was good for the price and the fact that we were bowling… Lots to do overall.

Pinheads is just down the road from where i live and i absolutely love this place. i have been to a few bowling alleys but none have given me such friendly service and an experience that keeps me coming back. it is a non-smoking very family oriented bowling alley with great local indiana brews and louie’s attached to it which in my opinion has some of the best finger food i have ever eaten anywhere. the nachos and the chicken quesidilla are to die for. On weekdays after 8 they do games for a buck and on fridays and saturdays they have disco bowl or glow bowl which is great fun if you are just bowling casually. The place is always willing to set up pool and corn hole tables for you and if you are really into it, then you can try playing sand volleyball as well. they have 3 courts and have leagues playing there often. One of my favorite places in indy to have a very nice relaxing weekend while being easy on the pocket.

We went to Pinheads for an «adult» birthday party — bowling, some pizza and drinks. Had a very good time here, the prices were reasonable and the people were very nice. Nice crowd, no one was rowdy and everyone seemed to have a good time. The drinks and appetizers at the bar were top notch, with Sun King products and fantastic cheese fries. Carrie was our server and she was very helpful and quick, and understanding with our moving to the bowling lanes. And good at math! Did I mention this is a bowling alley? Next time you want a good time this is the place to go.
