Waiting 10 hours and counting to «find a bed» for a teen. Crap covered toilet, told them about it, guy «cleaned it» and I went in to find the same crap on the toilet. THIS IS A HOSPITAL and THAT’S how well they clean a bathroom! Disgusting. Was told «there’s a bed in Virginia Beach for him» and they expected me to drive 3 hours in the dark to get him there, and then drive 3 hours back… My health issues and my night vision make that impossible. So I’m supposed to keep sitting here till sunrise so I can transport him and sign a paper then drive back. I’ll just plow into a wall on my way, no more issues.

Spent 15 hours total waiting myself as his parent and was told at 8:30 am that «transport was scheduled for 10:00am», and I’m now finding out My son had to wait until NOON to be transported 2 hours away. NO CONTACT was made to communicate this «change «to me. His parent. I left the hospital after being told I could and I trusted when I obviously should not have! So my son was there a total of 19 hours just waiting to be transported to an open bed.
Absolutely RIDICULOUS and irresponsible to not communicate this 2 hour transportation time change TO HIS PARENT! A phone call would have been appreciated. Never EVER again at this hospital!
**And the feces on the toilet was NOT cleaned up by this morning when my son used the bathroom. I informed the watchperson LAST NIGHT about the problem and it was NOT cleaned before my son used the bathroom at 8:20am! A HOSPITAL! With no regard to cleaning feces off the toilet, COMPLETELY AND PROMPTLY! Really makes you wonder!

Hospitals are tough to rate. This is a review for my trip to the ER. Definitely an out of towner in this po-​dunk county hospital.
Incident occurred at 2000, and I was admitted sometime around 2030 and didn’t leave until 2230. It felt like it took forever, but all in all it’s not that bad. I was on the «fast track».
The staff were very friendly and working as fast as they could. This is a very nice medical facility, not at all what I expected in the boonies of Virginia. Very clean and well organized ER.
