Papa Gino’s is the best thin crust pizza in New England that you can get a a chain restaurant. In fact, it’s by far the best pizza in Fitchburg. Godfrey’s and Dario’s are pretty good, but when you want the real good thin crust, it’s always Papa’s!

Typical Papa Gino’s, always good. This Papa Gino’s has not been changed or remodeled much, so it definitely gives off a classic feel. Though the décor hasn’t changed, the prices certainly have, and for some reason Papa Gino’s prices have rose dramatically. It’s come to the point where we don’t like ordering without a coupon. Their pizza itself tastes delicious, but they don’t give you the largest pies, and the thin style doesn’t help. Other menu offerings are good, and reasonably priced. Especially the pasta. Wish they still had All You Can Eat Pizza night’s(or Pasta nights), but that’s gone now, as well as the beer and wine is not available either. Great cheese bread sticks, too.

Remember Papa Gino’s in the 80’s? Stop by the Fitchburg Papa Gino’s for an instant time warp. The same red-and-white stripe tabletops, an empty claw machine suggesting days long gone, and the realization that the interior has hardly been changed since it first opened. The pizza is still good old Papa Gino’s style, no different than any other location.
