This is the best place in Downtown Flagstaff to go for a late night pick me up. It’s cheap, the quality of the food is iffy, and its in a rundown location. However, the best part of this place is the variety, as there are many different choices of hot dog including a New York, and Chicago dog, and, sometimes they even have theme dogs named after Pokemon, which is pretty wicked. Personally, I am not a fan of their hot dogs, which is probably because I never eat them while drunk. Still, you can’t beat the prices or the variety. I would definitely try this place because its a Flagstaff institution.

This place specializes in all thing hotdogs. They have anything you can think of on a hotdog from the chili cheese dog to the Chicago dog. It’s only open during the night as it is close to the bars and good ‘drunk’ food. I ate my 3 hotdogs sober, and they weren’t that special, but still good! I ordered the chili dog, Chicago dog, and the Phoenix dog. The Chicago one was by far the best. I would go with that one if you eat here. The service was fast and friendly, but the place is small so be prepared to eat standing up outside. Overall I would go again for late night food and would absolutely go again for some drunk food. Admittedly, I still prefer my Costco dog… but his place works too if you want something outside your normal hotdog

Not bad for a hot dog stand although the service could use a little work. Went there tonight and the cashier asked me for a tip which seemed off. Then he didn’t put my order in so I stood there and watched my friends eat as I waited. The dude assembling the dogs was on top of things, firing those wieners out with speed and precision. Sadly the same praise can’t be said of the bunk cashier. Awesome service earns awesome tips

We went in for a late dinner on the way home. The guy working was super chill and friendly. My boyfriend got a huge hot dog and I tried the little pork sliders which I recommend! Super small inside so when it’s packed we never stop but the other day was a perfect evening!

Standard hot dog place with a lot of variety for topping selection. i had the tucson dog with jalapeño, bacon, and nacho cheese. It was very tasty because of Great toppings but the dog was small. works well for a good quick snack.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I am not a hot dog person. When I go I usually get the Italian beef sandwich and it is delicious! It is also the best restaurant to go to when you are drunk in 2 in the morning.

Horrible dogs. I can’t even call them hot dogs. They must have been sitting around for a while because they were lukewarm. Other than the bad dogs. The girls there lacked tack. They had blaring music and were cussing like sailors. They were oblivious to the fact that customers were in the house. Not only was the dogs disappointing so was the service.

Super bomb Italian beef sandwich! Not as big as I would have like but very tasty nonetheless. Cannot wait to go back and get a dog as the selection looks incredible. The girl at the counter was awesome. Very friendly. Kind of mad I’ve lived here for over a year and just barely tried this place! Check it out! It’s open until 3am on some nights!

Great vegan hotdog and vegan chili, perfect late night snack. We even wanted the place to be open in the morning after our night out! Our token omnivore enjoyed his meat filled hot dog as well.

Primos is my teen son’s favorite dog house in Flag. I prefer the Dog Haus but Primos is just about the hot dog itself.
They have a good variety of dogs with different toppings and their prices are not too bad. The place itself is microscopicaly small(seats 4!) and no one who works there is the slightest bit friendly, but hey, go there for the hot dogs not companionship

It’s exactly what you expect. Open even to late night and it’s near the Downtown Flag Bar scene. It’s have a wide selection of interesting combination for a good price. Great drunk food and still pretty good when you’re sober. Every college town bar scene needs a little place like this that does it right.

Wonderful little gem in Flagstaff… very characteristic of Flagstaff and a must for first-timers and college students alike. The Italian Beef is one of my favorites… get it with the nacho cheese sauce and extra aj jou… amazing! I also love any and all of their hot dogs: Cheese dogs, Chicago dogs, Tucson, Phoenix etc. Eat there if you can, their«to-go» setup is a little difficult, usually the toppings ends up all over the foil.

Best late night food in Flagstaff! It was just awarded that title in some best of Flagstaff list and I agree. That being said, there are only two late night places I have discovered in Flag, Primo’s and Pita Pit. When visiting Flagstaff I stay at the Monte Vista, which is across the street from Pita Pit. I’d rather walk a few blocks away at 1am to Primo’s than go to Pita Pit. I’m a fan of their hotdogs, especially the chili cheese dog. Also enjoy the Italian Beef sandwich. Despite being cramped, I recommend eating there. The one complaint I have about this place is how they wrap up to go orders. My Italian Beef sandwich was put on a paper tray and barely wrapped in foil. I asked for a side of au jus in a cup and they didn’t have lids for it. So by the time I got it back to my hotel the wrapping was off both the sandwich tray and the au jus cup, hence spilling everywhere in the bag, plus the sandwich was now cold. It was a joke. They need to work on that and considering it is a huge part of their business, why haven’t they perfected this yet? I’ll be back, but I’ll be eating inside instead.

I don’t like hot dogs. But I love Primo’s. The idea of a vegan hot dog made me shake in my boots until I tried one out at Primo’s. The texture of the vegan dog was just like that of a normal hot dog, and they pumped up the flavor with vegetarian chili. I also had a bite of my friend’s «Godfather» hot dog, which was covered in marinara sauce, parmesan cheese, and bell peppers. Who thinks of this stuff? I don’t know, but they deserve a hot dog academy award. It’s also open until 2 am. And late night food options are always appreciated!

My expectations at 1am after many many pints were low and Primos managed to dissapoint. With tip and tax, $ 5 for a Chicago Dog that I’m highly skeptical was Vienna Beef, and came with green pepper slices. Huh?

It was my first time to try a pineapple hot dog. It was pretty good with a sweet and salty taste. This is called the Hawaiian Hot Dog. Another hot dog my roommate and I order was the Chicago Hot Dog. It was a little spicy. But overall it tastes pretty good. It’s almost like a subway sandwich, but it’s a hot dog style. The price range is around $ 3 — $ 5. But it did satisfy my tummy.

This is seriously not the best hot dog place ever, but delicious because it’s right by the bars downtown. The hot dogs are ten times better when you’ve had a few drinks, and it’s open until 2am most of the time! My favorite so far would be the Tucson dog. I haven’t been a fan of the other dogs, though I still find myself coming in here and buying them occasionally. Mostly because my friends just love this place. Good drunk food!

This place is great! Especially after going to all the bars and satisfying your hunger buzz. I want to try all of them! But… I always always lean towards the Flagstaff or phoenix dogs. Something about nachos cheese and bacon on my all beef hot dogs… mmmmmmmmmmm Can not wait to be back here!
