Just Hair

I was nervous about going in… I’ve lived in jax for over a year and couldn’t find a quality hairdresser until I went here. I got my hair foiled… it turned out beautiful. I got wispy Hillary Duff bangs… never had bangs before and I loved them Julie Anne is a boss! She’s fun, she’s my type of lady! Thanks Julie Anne! (:

Lauren is hands down my fave stylist ever! I’ve been to many and she does amazing work! From simple «trims» to extensive colors, she is your girl! The salon is inviting and laid back. It’s a great place to relax and kick back. I’ll definitely continue going to the salon as long as Lauren is there!

I went for the first time ²⁄₈ and needed several inches off and layers. I called around 11 and got an appointment for 1:30 the same day. Lauren did an amazing job! I have thick hair and hadn’t cut it in over a year. She took about 4 much needed inches off and layered it perfectly. She was personable and friendly– and for all the awesome work she did it was only $ 22! The salon was very clean and everyone was nice– so glad I found this place. It’ll be my go-​to spot from now on!

Everyone at Just Hair is wonderful! Kim W. has been doing my hair for years. She always gets my highlights and cut perfect. She listens to what I want and never takes off more than I like. Great conversationalist too :) Caitlyn does my daughter and son’s hair (ages 6 & 4 respectively) and she has the utmost patience with them. My son likes to squirm and make funny faces in the mirror and all the while Caitlyn does not miss a beat. I always recommend Just Hair to all my family and friends.

As a male with long hair its definitely tough to find a place where they listen to what you need done and general maintenance doesn’t end up with you missing most of your hair.
Needless to say Ms. Caitlin at this salon knows her craft. After my first cut with her I have not gone to anyone else. She has proven her skill and its clear to me she is worthy of wielding the mighty shears. My hair is finally safe from folks who want to give every male a modern pompadour…

The only reason why I put a one star is because it would not let me put a zero. Worst salon experience I have ever had in my entire life ! I have went twice first time I went in for a simple haircut to take about a inch or inch and a half off lady completely chopped my hair the manager Kim had to come over and fix it I left with 3 inches off my hair that day was extremely upset. I decided to go back for a full highlight because I figured their pricing wasn’t too bad and the receptionist referred me to Kimberly who has been doing hair for 20+ years there were a couple spots that needed retouched up so she offered to schedule me out for a couple weeks to fix that when trying to come to the appointment she didn’t have time for it I was running 5 min behind mind you when I went to my first initial appointment she left me waiting 25 min past my scheduled time. I tried to reschedule out for another week out to just get a partial highlight the receptionist told me though that she would not have time to blow dry my hair when I was told this I was very confused never in my life have I been to a salon where they color your hair and don’t blow dry it so you can see how it looks I said this to the receptionist and she said well I guess they could blow dry the top of your head. I told her just to have her manager give me a call manager calls me a day later basically to just say that she is sorry I asked if she would be willing to just do my hair for me because I was tired of all the confusion with the salon she said that she was booked out till August which I highly doubt overall I would not recommend my worst enemy to go to this salon. It’s sad to the place does have potential looks very nice inside but the staff definitely needs improvement.

Jill was awesome. She was quick but knew exactly what she was doing and very friendly. All the people working there seemed friendly. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and I got out of there in a timely manner. Prices are definitely fair for the services you get.

Great price for shampoo, cut and blow dry! Very good cut also! Overall a good experience, only thing I really did not like was the techno/​dance music that was very loud! I could not hear my stylist over the music, so that really decreased my experience. My stylist was not chatty, it was kind of nice, but I really attribute this to the horrible music. Honestly I will probably not go back because of the music and just not feeling welcome, but then again good cut at great price!

Every time I visit, I see everything from traditionally conservative hair styles to adorable children’s styles to cutting edge up to date trendy cuts which never fails to impress!
Just hair is clean and comfortable, efficiently set up. They carry a nice supply of hair products. The prices are reasonable and a great value. I have never had to wait when I arrive at my appointment time and appreciate that time management is obviously a priority. It is nice to receive a text reminder of my appointment ahead of time and a call if an earlier time is available to ask if that would be more convenient.
The atmosphere in Just Hair is always professional and friendly. The staff is upbeat, busy and happy. The obvious mutual respect and comeradity between the owner and staff and clients makes it easy to see why this shop is so successful.

I just got another great hair cut by Bri. She cut off the dead ends but I didn’t lose a lot of length. Last time she also gave me some cute blonde & red highlights on top of the red dye I do myself. I have no complaints about any cut I’ve had there.
