Just your average local watering hole, primarily populated by regulars from the neighborhood. Typical greasy bar food and average selection of beers on tap. It’s a little dark and dated, typical of a dive. The ladies room could have been cleaner, that’s obvious. I hate dirty restrooms. It’s the kiss of death for a business– in my opinion, anyway. Still, it’s a relaxed atmosphere to get a pint with friends. Most of the regulars are laid-back and pretty chill. Just about everyone minds their own business while chugging domestic beers. A barfly type gave me his business card and told me to give him a call– hello, I’m married!

Remington’s has become our lunch at work bar. Always great food and service!

We first ended up coming here because we found a listing that they had NTN trivia available. As this is a vanishing breed we came here specifically for it. Unfortunately they only had it available on a tiny TV above the bar. I like the ambiance of this bar pretty well. It’s just a regular bar. The tables have wood designs and quarters and stuff under about 2 inches of lacquer. Sounds weird probably but it looks pretty neat. There is a big room off to the side with pool, shuffleboard, and darts which is great for big groups. The food has been a disappointment every time I’ve been here. I really really want it to be good. It just isn’t. I’ve been wanting a good place in my neighborhood to get fish and chips on a Friday. I’ll keep looking, but it’s a decent place to get together with friends and play some pool or do some karaōke.
