A hipster dive bar in Flint? Yes please… I recently returned back to Flint from NYC, so my standards of «good eats» is a bit high. Soggy Bottoms have become a Flint fav. The food is made fresh, hot with the perfect blend of ingredients. The black bean nachos are a fav. Waiting to test out the bar before I give them a final star.

The burgers are super good and there are several different kinds to choose from, including both vegetarian(the black bean) and vegan(hempseed!) options. They also have a delicious kale salad if you’re in the mood for something healthier. One of the best bar/restaurants in Flint for food, not to mention the friendly atmosphere and wide selection of craft beers.

Great bar, probably the best of many awesome downtown Flint bars. Great food menu, try the pork sliders and the egg rolls. Sweet lunch time deals on burgers and a nice beer list. Makes a great Moscow Mule and has a cool vibe.

This is easily the best place to drop by for a drink. There are very few places in Flint who can properly make a Side Car, let alone have ever heard of it. The food is short and sweet. The menu gives you a little bit if everything to satisfy just about anybody. Best bar food easily. The scenery is nice, Tuesday night’s is Jazz nights, Wednesday Trivia night. Soggy Bottoms Is as solid as it gets.

Love coming here with friends after art walk every month. Sadly the bartenders only know a handful of drinks and can’t be bothered to learn new ones properly. Anyone can mix a drink but a professional knows how to present one or at least make a show of it. That aside it’s a very friendly space of you can ever find parking, I generally end up walking from a couple blocks away so it’s not my problem but it’s why I don’t come more often.

LOVE this place and totally stoked they now are open for lunch. Food is great. Hamburgers are delicious and juicy and cooked to order. Sweet potatoes fries and black bean nachos are amazing too. Thats all I’ve had but friends like the fried pickle spears. I’ve seen slices but never spears. Look good but I can’t attest to the taste. My regular order js the bleu burger with bacon. Heavenly. A fave lunch stop of mine. Live jazz music on Tues nights also. Pool table. Small TVs behind the bar though so if its the game you seek go to Sharkeys or something instead.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The burgers and fries have been consistently delicious. Adding food to the menu was a good choice. The atmosphere and music are an improvement to most other bars I’ve been to. The best that downtown flint has to offer

Ok i don’t wanna say that the manager of this bar and a bartender, who called Ashly is a racist, but she is so feisty with people, and she know nothing about bar-tendering thing. Not classy at all, and she think she own the place. I’ll never go there again, and I wish the real owner contact me. ASAP. «Don’t hire a white trash» sir.

I can’t comment on the actual bar, but the food was great and reasonably priced. I would probably actually give it 4.5 stars if I could. My husband got the southwest burger with the black bean patty. He enjoyed it, but said he would get ground beef next time. I got the black bean nachos which were delicious, but I was a little disappointed that the black beans appeared to be a black bean burger crumbled up. The fries were delicious. We also got the jalapeño popper egg rolls. They were very good, although a little too heavy on the cream cheese to jalapeño ratio for me. All in all very good and we wi be back.

Great music, great atmosphere! Can’t complain about much! We had their loaded nachos. They had a nice kick to them, but only lasted a few minutes between a couple people.

I am so angry that I spent 4 years at UM-Flint and only recently heard about this place. Monday is comedy night and Tuesday is jazz night! Their drinks and tap list are unique and delicious, their waitstaff super friendly and awesome, and the food is all made fresh and surprisingly cheap for being such high end bar food! Try the chicken tenders with house made ranch! Call ahead to ask if they have events before you go — Wednesdays have recently been trivia, but sometimes they have art fairs or concerts.

A decent local bar. Cheap drinks and decent, if spotty, service. It’s a typical dive bar with a pool table, but heads and shoulders above Churchill’s in terms of quality. They have better food than the average dive bar– in fact, they even have veggie burgers now. Wow. That’s something. The food keeps improving, too, with new menu items cooked up by the staff. It’s a good thing they started offering food because there are so many bars/restaurants downtown with a vibrant culinary scene these days. Good for them! Very affordable food and drink prices. Cocktails are hit or miss. They started featuring live comedy shows awhile ago, so that’s something different. They still have live music, but some of the acts are distinctly better than others. Sometimes, it’s hard to hear yourself talk or carry on a conversation here– it gets that loud, but most of the time it’s a nice little dive bar to hang out with friends and have a good time.

Best bar in Flint, meaning it’s by far the best bar in the world. Drinks are great; Kenny makes the finest Old Fashioned I’ve ever had(he makes his own damn syrup). $ 1.50 domestic bottles for happy hour. Food is super fresh and always good. Over the years this bar has gone up and down, but it is certainly on the up now. Regulars occupy the Happy hours, and the evenings are a grab bag of folks.

I love this place! It’s a dive with great service. Addicting drink menu, on point bar food and bartenders that don’t act like they hate you. What is the best though, is that it’s not full of flat screens. It’s a bar you go to to have a real conversation with real people. Love it. Ask Kenny for the Kentini
