They always do your nails perfectly. I usually go for the special ones — permanent french, uv gel, other ones besides just a mani & pedi. They do a great job with the pedicures. They do a great job with designs for little girls, my daughters always leave happy with flowers. Price wise, reasonable for the work they put in

DONOTGOHERE!!! Unless you are a resident of floral park and besties with the nail artists. My boyfriend lives in the neighborhood and I needed a pedicure badly. The reviews on Unilocal said this was the best place in town so I gave it a shot. I was told the wait was 20 minutes but instead it took almost an hour. The locals were prioritized over new guests and to top it all off, my nails were messed up. They put a top coat on my wet French and I didn’t notice the white steaks until I got home. Total waste of money. I WILLNEVERGOBACK!

After being laughed at and turned down from the other two nail salons on Tulip Ave on a Saturday afternoon, I walked into Friendly Nails expecting the same. Instead they told me to pick a color and I was so relieved! I just wanted a regular manicure but the lady talked me into a gel manicure with a design. She spoke English very well. She didn’t rush at all and did a very thorough job. It was $ 25 for a gel manicure which is reasonable compared to the $ 35 I paid down the street. I will definitely go back in two weeks. Nothing but good things to say about my experience here. Ask for Lee when you go, she is great!

I have no idea why this place doesn’t have 4 or 5 stars. The staff is ridiculously nice and genuine. My mother and I go here every time we are in town visiting family and they always do a bang-up job. The prices are crazy reasonable and even the $ 8 regular mani comes with a massage. The last visit, my mom switched to a gel mani and when it bubbled, they took her back to fix it right away. If you are bothered by other languages being spoken, get over it, smile and get a great mani.

I’ve been to many nail salons and have requested many different services from each. I have mixed emotions about this place. I felt a little uncomfortable with the nail techs. They didn’t seem honestly«friendly». They seemed mostly confused by me and rushed me into making decisions. They suggested I do things I didn’t need and were very aggressive about it. A guy did my pedicure and it lasted about 7 minutes. On top of the quick pace, he didn’t do anything to my feet aside from remove my old polish and apply new polish. At one point during my tip application, the lady was cutting my nails and shouted at me to «SAYSOMETHING!» She hadn’t spoken to me so what did she want me to say? Also, I don’t go to a salon to chat, I go to relax. This was my first experience at this salon because I needed to try somewhere new and honestly, my tips turned out nice, but I was not comfortable and felt belittled and taken advantage of. It was quite expensive as well. To top it all off, I told the lady doing my tips that I wanted acrylic(three times) and she used gel, which I didn’t want but once it was started, I didn’t want to cause a scene. Point is, I won’t be going back there.

This nail salon isn’t my favorite for many reasons. The only nice thing about Friendly’s is that they have a friendly staff. They know my sisters and I by name. The service is terrible. They also leave you in your chair to talk to their coworkers in a different language! I know that English is a tough language and their all immigrants from China and Korea but it would be better for customers if they spoke English. They also charged me extra money for design and nails cut. I didn’t even ask for a design and cut nails. They were way too short and hurt a lot!

Should not be called Friendly nails! A lot of my students give me gift certificates to this salon but I feel everytime I go here all eyes are on me in a negative way. There is a guy who works here that just stares at me, it makes me very uncomfortable. The positive is they greet all there regular customers by name which I don’t see at my regular nail salon. It seems like if your a new customer or not a regular here your treated not as nice which is strange because wouldn’t they want to be nice to new costumers?

Horrible salon. I’ve been there a couple of times because the location is convenient to where I live. The manicures never last more than a day or so because they use cheap products. I went over xmas time and they rushed me so much that the women clipped part of my cuticle and it was not only painful but i was bleeding alot! I recently went with my sister, her manicure was horrible. For my manicure, the owner did it and it wasn’t until I went home that i realized she didn’t put a clear coat on top and it was some kind of jelly substance??? who does that? If i had the time I would have gone back and demanded a refund but it’s not worth it. And all the technicians do is talk to each other in another language the whole time. So rude! This is America, talk English! DON’T go here unless you want a bad manicure and to get ripped off!!!

Nice enough place for a manicure. I’m not sure I would go back for a another pedicure though because the leg massaging is nonexistant unless you pay extra(when they ask you if you want a massage and don’t mention the $ 10 charge). They didn’t even ask me, so I got the weak version. The woman next to me got the pricier one. Also all the pedicure chairs are broken in exciting and scary ways but they don’t tell you that. I thought I was going to need the jaws of life to get me out.
