I ordered a sectional yesterday(Florence, KY location) with instructions for delivery to my home today 5÷31÷2015. I received a call around 12pm stating I’d get another follow up call between 3−4pm to find out when they would be out. I received my phone call at 7pm to let me know they were 30min out. They arrived at 7:35pm. The deliveryman who assembled the legs on my couch noticed two of the legs(they are plastic) were cracked. He stated someone will be it to replace them tomorrow no problem. After tipping the two men $ 10 each, I notice there is a rip on the back of the sofa after they had left. It was masked by the pillows. No way did either deliveryman not see this! I will be calling this store first thing tomorrow morning to see how this will be remedied. ETA: After months of fighting and disputing the charges with my credit card company, I FINALLY was refunded my money!!! The never sent more furniture to me, so they attempted to charge me for merchandise never received.

Good News: My couch set looks quite fabulous. Bad News: American Freight offers horrendous customer service. Some of the worst I’ve ever experienced! They didn’t deliver my order until nearly 11PM! Who the hell does something like that??? JEFF needs to be fired immediately — just a very rude, ghetto, trashy individual who has NO business dealing with the public. He yelled at me and hung up the phone on me TWICE, was very argumentative and didn’t give a damn about any of my time being wasted and he ignored my concerns. The other delivery guy was kind and helpful. But he should not have allowed me to randomly be moved to the END of their delivery list when I was told I only had(2) orders ahead of me! I was the very last house they came to! They also forgot to bring my 3-piece table set with them. Absolutely horrible. BTW — I bought my couch set at the Mulhauser location, and the Turfway location handled my delivery.

I wanted a specific recliner. called the cincinnati location to make sure it was in stock and I could pick it up. went there and it wasn’t and they told me «well it wasn’t me who told you that» and sent me to kentucky. I called kentucky and explained my situation and they said if i got there late, even one minute late, i couldn’t purchase the chair. I arrived literally one minute past closing and they had locked the doors and turned off the lights in anticipation of me coming. I had then wasted 2 hours of my time driving to their locations to buy one item that i had specifically requested and ended up with nothing except for amazingly rude people who are unashamed of being nasty to you in person and on the phone. customer service is beyond awful and if you can help it, please never by anything from this company.

Luckily this place doesn’t operate on customer service. I bought a table here for $ 700 and an extended warranty for an additional $ 100. I had to pay upfront, and I was promised that it would be delivered to the store the next Friday(5⁄27), but the invoice said 6⁄1. To be on the safe side, I went to the store with a truck on 6⁄1 and no table. I asked for my money back and they said they couldn’t do it because all sales were final. I reminded them that they had sold me something, but I have yet to receive it. After a bit or arguing with a guy that likely didn’t graduate high school, I gave up. I asked for a manager or someone else to speak to and he wouldn’t budge. I was assured it wold be on the next truck that would arrive on that Friday(6⁄3). I go in Saturday(6⁄4) and guess what — no table. Neither time did they bother to call. This place has ZERO customer service. The furniture is cheap… and you get what you pay for — if you’re lucky. I finally got a table… but will never be back here again. It would make me happy to see this place go under.

The furniture is cheap but I had a bedframe break within six months of purchase and they refused to repair or replace. Instead they tried to sell me a new set and only after asking for the district mgr number was I offered a new frame for $ 50. I would look elsewhere because u get what u pay for, which is junk.
