ITO Japanese Steak House

The service was impeccable. We stumbled on this place after stumbling out of a dirty café! My mom wanted o look at the entire menu. Finally, she agreed there were far too many choices and looked at the lunch menu! She had a shrimp bento/​teriyaki …looked very good. I had red curry… with the exception of the generic mushrooms used… It was delicious! The flavors were excellent.

I have ate at many Sushi restaurants throughout Colorado and I can say that this place is one of the best in the state. Delicious food and excellent service. Awesome small town atmosphere. Try the Kobe beef asparagus. Out of this world!

Great selection of Asian cuisine, friendly staff. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. The ramen is delicious.

Today we had lunch at Ito’s and I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The owner of the restaurant came greeted us and was so pleasant and friendly! I highly recommend this restaurant. I’m a firm believer of supporting local business!

We had a fabulous time here! Finding a place that is enjoyable for 5 adults and a toddler can be tough… Ito rose to the occasion! The food was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The space was tastefully decorated. Thank you for giving our family such a memorable dinner! Loved introducing a couple seniors to mochi! We’ll be back soon!

Amazing food! Tried miso soup first, salad, signature Ito roll, and crab rangoon. Loved every bite! My favorite restaurant now. Service was wonderful too!

I moved here from Los Angeles almost two years ago. I was fortunate to eat some amazing sushi and Hibachi in LA. That being said, Ito is comparable if not even better than most places I ate back home! Not only was the service absolutely phenomenal (the waitress was very thorough in answering my questions and explaining the vast menu) but the Red Curry and Ito Signature Roll I ordered put me in foodie heaven! They even had a gluten free Hibachi Filet Mignon option for my friend! This place is truly a diamond in the rough of a small town. I highly recommend this amazing Japanese restaurant.

After reading a few reviews on Unilocal,we were expecting great food and great service. After we sat down, the waitress explained that their wait staff was small (2 servers, one sushi chef and one cook) and that things may take a little longer than normal. I appreciate that… setting expectations up front is the mark of an experienced server. We promptly relieved our waters and soda, but had to ask a second time for the two adult beverages. We waited for et least 15 minutes to receive one draft beer and one mixed drink. The sushi came out as it was made since we ordered 8 rolls and it would have taken forever had we waited for all of the rolls to be made. We had to ask twice for soy sauce dishes and plates. Over the course of an hour, we received the rolls. They were ok, nothing special but what was strange was the rice. It wasn’t the typical sticky rice that you would expect. It fell apart with even the littlest amount of soy sauce. It was very mediocre. Now came the bill… I was quite surprised to see that the house salad each of us had cost $ 2.50 each! We all wanted miso soup even though we had to pay for it. There were five of us so between the house salad and miso soup, that was $ 22.50!!! Oh, and the three sodas my kids had was another $ 6.00. Pretty unreasonable if you ask me since most sushi places give you a small bowl of miso and salad with sushi purchases. The cost for the other rolls were pretty average. I’m not sure what the other reviewers are comparing this to (I’m guessing many of them ere locals) but this would rank last compared to the other sushi places in Colorado Springs.

this place is amazing, I was not expecting such a good Japanese restaurant in Florence, but their food is very tasty and fresh, the service is friendly and the décor is nice too. I would recommend this place if you are ever in town.

Phenomenal food, and amazing service. The quality and quantity of the food is simple yet awesome! Sushi has never been something I typically enjoy, but I do enjoy the Sushi here! Awesome job Ito!

We ate here based on the recommendation from the hotel staff, very happy we did! The food was really delicious, good quantity, reasonable prices on many items (some items seemed expensive, we did not order any of those), good service, very clean and nice atmosphere. The air conditioning was a little weak, but we got relocated to a table under one of the vents and ended up quite comfortable. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

It’s ok, but once I saw that the food was stored next to poisonous cleaning chemicals and how dirty the kitchen was I decided not to eat there anymore. Be warned about your food if you eat there.

We happened upon this place and were pleasantly surprised! Extremely friendly staff, clean atmosphere… be sure to get the salad with the ginger dill dressing and a bento box… this place is top notch!!!

Was hoping this would have some wow factor. Was average. Good service and cute décor. Will likely go back but will continue to seek out something better.

Cute place, phenomenal staff, and delicious food. Try the Florence and Sex on the Beach rolls, they’re awesome. Presentation was great and service was excellent. They serve Mochi for desert which my kids love.

Nice ambiance and I appreciate the nice place settings, not the plastic you get in some restaurants, shows me they care abut the way their food is presented. The miso soup was OK and I did not like the salad dressing at all, though my husband did, and as of right now the only have the one. I had the Bento Box dinner with scallops, hubby had Thai Basil. all was good and far more than we could eat. We will be going back.

My husband and I tried Ito for the first time last week. We had the octopus, yellowtail, salmon, and eel. Overall, I thought the fish was fresh and tasty! I have to admit I didn’t have high expectations for Colorado sushi and I was pleasantly surprised. The husband loved his eel and we were both very happy with the service. I enjoyed the atmosphere and overall it seemed everyone around us was enjoying their food. I’ll be back to try their soups and bento box lunches. Great addition to Florence!
