I’ve been going to Dr Marlette for around 8 years. I think he and his office are great. They are very friendly and Dr Marlette really knows his stuff. Dr Marlette will let you know whatever you want to know about a procedure. The dental hygenists are very good. The office staff are also positive and friendly. I highly recommned Dr Marlette and his office. The new location is much nicer too.

What a great practice! Dr Marlette and team are always spot on. He has taken the time to work with my issues and make them go away. Always helpful and willing to work you in when you have a problem.

I have always received the friendliest and most caring service since I have been a patient with Dr. Marlette. The office staff including the hygienist’s and dental assistants has always treated me great and made me feel extremely comfortable. I look forward to my visits, even though in the past with other dental offices I was always nervous going to the dentist. They have always been thorough in explaining what dental work I needed and the cost of the procedures. I always recommend Dr. Marlette to all my friends and family.

While the staff is friendly, I have two very major issues with this office. First, the hygeinest was very rough and caused great discomfort. Little did I know the discomfort would lead(2 days later) to extrememe pain. I called the office and told them of the issue and they had me come in. X-rays were inconclusive, but the pain was not. After a few weeks and a few visits I developed an absess and was told that it would cost me nothing(other than my time and pain), which I thought was fair. Little did I know a month and a half later I’d get a bill for $ 526 for the root canal(that was my portion AFTER insurance!) I called and spoke to the office manager who told me that was the cost. When I threatened to take my business elsewhere, she said she’d talk to Dr. Marlette. She then called me back and offered to drop my bill by 25%(to $ 394). Now $ 130 is $ 130, but it’s a matter of principle and asked to have Dr. Marlette call me. Dr. Marlette called and acted as though he didn’t know what I was talking about. I reminded him of the whole conversation, told him that I was not happy and said I was going to stop before I said something that was not nice. His response? OK then, we’ll adjust your bill back to the $ 524 and transfer your records. I was raised that a man’s word is his bond. Obviously you can’t trust anything he or his staff tells you. AVOIDTHISPLACELIKETHEPLAQUE! There are dentists up and down 42 and others on 18.
