I’m going to keep this real simple: if it has to have the city in the name it’s not the real deal: «Philly» cheesesteak 1⁄5 narrow bread doesn’t taste day fresh… meat is subpar more like a roast beef sandwich Fries: 3⁄5 the only saving grace for this place

Not welcoming, place is dirty, food on the ground, uncleaned, unfriendly environment. Will be reporting to HQ. Won’t be back.

Good atmosphere, good food. It could use some seasoning in the Philly meat but not disappointed!

I love the bread, the fries, the lemonade here! I would love to be able to recommend to the world a variety of my favorite sandwiches here, but I can’t seem to ever order more than just one: Chicken Cordon Bleu. This sandwich is da bomb! Get it with small natural cut fries and a lemonade!

Are you drunk? Are you hungry? Are you tired of Jimmy Johns? Are you starving like marvin grrrrrl?! This place be off da horn! Crispy and chewy bread. Philly cheesesteak is the way to go. Good sauce, cheese and enough steak to feel satisfied. The reuben was alright. Good stop for a quick bite in StL

I have never been to Penn Station though everytime I passed I thought«I should try that place.» Pops decided that he wanted a sammich from here. I ordered him the philly cheesesteak. I got corned beef with swiss. My sister got the club. I liked the hand cut fries. I do wish I had more meat in my sammich. I really could have used 2x or even 3x the meat. I also like that the sandwiches are served warm. I will be back the food was good. the service was friendly.

I could eat this sh*t all day. But then I wouldn’t fit in anything. I love chicken or steak phillys. Never felt the need to venture out of my norm, the babe gets everything, their Dagwood is his fave. The lemonade is good but I know i’ve had it somewhere else before… fries can be a hit or miss in terms of grease or salt. They lose a star for calling the orders in, something is always missing from the sandwich i.e. lettuce or mayo.

I recently began what I am calling«my vegetarian experiment». I’m not fully committed to being a full-time vegetarian, but am testing the waters out to see if(1) I can find enough alternatives to live a somewhat normal life and(2) if I start seeing the health benefits of not eating meat. The jury is still out on both counts. What I do know is that Penn Station has one of the few good fast food vegetarian sandwiches. The artichoke sandwich with mushrooms is amazing. Now I’m not saying this thing is healthy. It definitely isn’t! It piled high with artichokes, mushrooms, gooey cheese, and mayo. Everything is on their tasty white bread. The staff is friendly enough and the restaurant is usually pretty clean. I also recently gave up soda and Penn Station has the perfect alternative. They offer fresh squeezed lemonade. Don’t skip the lemonade on your next trip.

Ditto what Jeremy C said. Good stuff. Tucked away in a strip mall next to the new Dunkin Donuts, easy to miss from the road. Tuesday is free cookie day, so the line can be out the door. Minimal seating inside, so grab a seat if you find one!

I Love Penn Station! But you seriously can not eat this food everyday. I would have to say that the food is awesome until later when you have heartburn really bad. We usually go when we have coupons because the food is somewhat expensive, but worth it when you have a coupon. I love the fresh cut fries and the Italian sandwich, I also really like the Artichoke sandwich and have had it more than once. Never make the mistake of ordering a large fry to split between two people like me and my wife did once. We were eating fries for a long time when we got it home, it is seriously huge. This place is definitely a good place to go but the grease factor detracts from the ability to feel good about your decision to eat here after an hour or so. Will be going back though.
