Great staff. Great building. Our library system is fantastic. I can search for books online and then have them sent to our library. What a convenient service.

LOVE Flossmoor Library! The staff is always so accommodating, I pick their brains all the time for reading recommendations for both me and my son. There are a ton of great programs for children as well as adults. My favorite feature is going online and using the SWAN system to request books/​videos/​cds and have them sent to Flossmoor for pick up. The ease of the system is very convenient for someone like me who works full time downtown and doesn’t have a lot of spare time to browse the library as much as I would like. The library is full of computers, magazines, everything you could possibly need for searching a pet project, or just want to spend the day hanging out at the library!

I love this library. It really is a jewel in the downtown Flossmoor area.
Lots of computers for public use, including a free scanner for pictures and documents. I managed to do all the paperwork related to the sale of my condo right there at the library. It saved a ton of money vs doing it at FedEx Office.
Free Wi-​Fi and a great selection of books, magazines and newspapers.
The staff is really friendly and they have a ton of programs for kids and people in the community. The building is absolutely gorgeous too. I’m a big fan.

I had a weird experience at this library… I went to use a computer there before mine was hooked up at home and as I was typing, a woman turned and asked me if I could please type «quietly.» She totally disrupted what I had been doing, in a computer lab where there were lots of other people. I told her no, that this is just the way I type and that if there was a problem, maybe she could ask the library to buy new keyboards. It’s a good library but very strange people go there.
