After moving into the area I stopped here on a Friday night after getting my hair done. The bartender was great, not only did he have me and the entire bar laughing he was quick and knew when anyone needed a drink. He recommended the cheesesteak hoagie and let me tell you, it was amazing. He also said I should come back and try the tuna which is ONLY on Fridays. So I did and wow, I was speechless. This bartender only works Friday’s and was great. Not sure how the rest of the workers are but if there like him then I could say every night would be great. I brought my husband home a cheesesteak and he couldn’t believe he’s never heard of this place. Now living in the area we now have a local establishment. We couldn’t be happier. Cheers!

I was both hungry and thirsty when I decided to go on a short adventure in-between classes and stumbled upon this little gem. The hanging sign out front is the only clear marker of what this place is but just by looking at the building itself, you’d think it’s either someone’s home or it was a condemned building. It definitely has character on the outside but not in the«wow, that building looks historic and well kept» kind of character. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is that it’s easy to miss. There’s no street parking but there’s a small lot behind it but if you pass by it and don’t want to make a u-turn, you can park in the large shared lot next door that hosts a strip mall of shops and stores. The interior is dark, dank and very moody. It can be blindingly sunny outside and the inside can be dark with only streams of sunlight that break through its shutters. Definitely not a hipster hangout or a place to engage in conversation. Patrons look like they’ve been to this bar for decades and mostly kept to themselves. Sipping on beer and watching whatever was on TV. The décor is old and random but not without its own unique feel. A giant moose head and buck head straddle a support beam in the middle of the bar. The booths are a bit cramped yet cozy. The beer was decent and it came out fast. So far, this review may sound a bit of a downer or negative, but I assure you it’s not. I had the Cheesesteak Hoagie and man, it was really good. They really stuffed it full of meat and the cold cuts with cheese, I don’t know why other places don’t have this sandwich. I had the half-size and it was still large enough to fill me up. It wasn’t overly greasy or oily. Even though the meats bursted off the bread, it wasn’t as if the bread was non-existent. And the bread wasn’t soaked either which was great(I hate soggy bread). Service was great and I really appreciated how they seemed to treat people like old friends or family. Great place to just chill or hide away from the craziness of the outside world, even if it is for a quick bite or a short respite from the beating sun. CASHONLY and they don’t have an ATM on-site. Parking: Small lot in back or large lot next to strip mall Price: $ 6-$ 12 + beer Wait: 5 mins after order

As stated many times before, it’s not fancy, but it’s done so well. Food is good and the beer is cheap. The only thing that I wish I could get here that I can’t is an order french fries. Cash only.

Hometown childhood favorite. Simple Philly-style menu and pitchers w 8 oz glasses. Always good for a hoagie or a cheesesteak. Cheap, too!

Best sandwiches in town. If you were looking for a fancy meal do not go here. As a sign says, this is not Burger King you don’t get your way. But, it is also one of the coolest place in town to have a drink and have a great conversation. The interior was designed in 1950 and not much has changed at all but I gotta love it.

Working out of town I always love to find a friendly bar with good food. This place fit the bill perfectly. When you walk in your are taking a step back in time. Sit at the bar while the bartender works on the grill to cook you the perfect hoagie steak and cheese When back in town I will make another visit.

One of my favorite little dive bars! I’ve been going here with my family for years and they have the best burgers in town! Fresh and juicy!

Great service. Small place so stare of regulars when you walk in can be intimidating … Push through! Had the cheesesteak hoagie(after reading other reviews) and it was great! Not something I would EVER order but totally delicious. Limited menu(sandwiches) but rotating specials, very clean and again, great service.

A local hole in the wall dive bar that I love! Cisco’s is a small bar located right on Bethlehem Pike across from the Sunoco. The bar’s walls are lined with old photos of Jim Cisco. They are known for their cheesesteak hoagie. Its an actual Italian hoagie with steak meat on top. Its a small sandwich but a tasty one.

Nothing fancy but if you are looking for simple food, cold beer, friendly service and cheap prices, you have the right place! The menu is so short it hangs on the wall. Great cheese steaks and the best home made peppers I’ve ever had… served in rubbermaid containers! A must if you are in the neighborhood!

Been meaning to review this place for a while. This is a no frills non trendy Straight up dive bar with cold beer and awesome sandwiches. It’s served up With some sarcasm and a smile. Thank god for places like that still exist Nothing better than a cheesesteak hoagie with the spicy Relish and an ice cold lager.

Cisco’s is great, but do not go if you are looking for anything fancy, or lightly fancy. Cisco’s is that corner bar, you always wondered about as a kid. «What goes on in there?’. Well, its cold beer, with a great waitstaff, and a chalkboard menu with VERY simple options. This is not the place for the first date, but this is the place to go with your small group of friends and enjoy the subtle ambiance and each other’s company. Cisco’s is not for everyone, but great for a place to sit, have a beer, and an inexpensive meal.

Great family owned and operated local bar with very good sandwiches. Prices are perfect and the staff are friendly and attentive. Cheesesteak Hoagie should be mentioned in a «Best of Philly» category. This place is a can’t miss, and a time honored old-fashioned establishment which has earned its great reputation.

A must if you’re in the Flourtown area… this institution has been here so LONG that it should be on the register of historic sites. The folks are friendly and some of the sandwiches are great! ie: CHEESESTEAK! !!! I feel like I am in my «Cheers»(NOT) but it is the kind of place you do make your own.

A step back from the crazy life we all live these days. Cisco’s is that local establishment we all wish we had more of. Good service, good food, in a friendly atmosphere. Certainly a place to hang your hat on a regular basis.

My girlfriend(now wife) & I stopped in to Cisco’s a few days after we moved into our house in Flourtown. Nice cold beer, but a couple of bland previously frozen fried hamburger patties left us really cold. Too bad we didn’t know any of the locals at that point — maybe we would have ordered the cheese-steak hoagie.

I went for the cheesesteak hoagie, it is what they are known for. Fast, excellent service and a delicious sandwich.
