Chili’s Grill & Bar

This location is close to home so my family and I often come here for a decent meal. However, as the years have passed, the quality of this Chili’s has deteriorated enormously. Today, I ordered the Combo with a half rack of ribs, grilled shrimp, a side of skillet mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The broccoli looked as if it either had freezer burn or they were trying to make air dried broccoli jerky. The skillet mashed potatoes came in a skillet with a handle protector that smelled like a dirty rag that had been used to clean a bathroom floor. To top it all off, my shrimp came out raw. Not just «it looks a little undercooked». It was actually cold to the touch! This was the final straw so I asked them to cook it longer. The manager, Steve, came out and instead of explaining the situation and apologizing for the mistake, he continued to make excuse after excuse after excuse until I was just plain fed up. Then the waitress continued to make excuses for the raw shrimp as well and she wouldn’t leave the table. She insisted that we had a wonderful meal and the service was superb and that we should mention the great experience on the survey. I am not going back to that Chili’s until the management and crew are taken care of.

2^nd time in a row very poor service. Took forever, you could hear people yelling in the kitchen, staff seemed completely stressed. All on a not very busy Tuesday night? Just seems poorly managed. Unpleasant experience. Food was ok.

I’ve been here three times and I have had good service once. The waitress I had the good time was so personable and was so friendly and open to suggest her favorite menu items and one of the only who checked to see if they had military discount the other two times I had unpleasant service with a bad attitude which is upsetting cause I wanted tables for 3 years. Anyways I would rather pass on this chili’s. I would rather drive to denton.

I LOVE Chili’s. Every time I go there I get the original chicken crispers and tons of extra gravy. I’ve gotten that meal pretty much ever since I’ve been a little girl. They always give a generous amount of food and it is always cooked perfectly. I’ve never gotten anything that was burnt or undercooked. The waiter didn’t even judge me for how much gravy I needed.

Typical Chilis experience, mediocre food with, mediocre service. If you want a drink refill you have to ask, food comes out one entrée at a time, just weird.

Stay away. Stay far away.
Crap service, crappier food, nobody cares.
I’ve never been to a chilis that was this terrible. Manager offered to comp the queso because of how long it took to get waited on… Must’ve forgot to take it off the check…
Lettuce in our salads was disgusting, soggy, and resembled a salad you took home from lunch and ate again for dinner. Yuck. Never again.

worst chilis in united states i called in a phone order of the $ 20 2 for 2 of one cajun chick pasta and an order of fajjtas which i would not feed to my dog! tried to order all the same sides for appetizer but this chilis stated they had none of the ones we always get at all other chilis so i had to get the queso n chips i had at other chilis further down 2499 not long ago a great white queso thick n delicious except i received some nasty greasy thickened combo of watered down liquid from can of chili con carne from hormel without beans? no cheese in it next the cajun alfredo is always chessy n delucious at every other chilis but once again no cheese sauce at all just hard over cooked noodles w grease on then n diced tomatoes but no cajun seasoning at all why i called for manager n started explaining n was put on hold for manager n even he never answered call doubt he was evfn i store n if he was should be fired immedistrly now restitution im stafved its now 1044 pm n i am 50 min from this chilis calling chilis roanoke to see if they can fix it or return money

We come here all the time. The staff is the greatest. Super attentive especially the bar. It would be nice if the menu was updated more often. Really 5 stars for the staff because the food is just above average.

Nice atmosphere but rest disappointing. Ordered a mixed drink and it was so watered down. Asked if they put in the extra shot I requested and he said put in two. I hate being lied to. I only drink maybe once every other month or so and it is not like I would have felt the rum. Appetizers were disappointing. Poor customer service. Just not worth the trip.

Came in last night around 830pm. Sat at the bartop. Ordered two drinks and the 2 for 20 deal. Ordered chips and salsa as our starter. 5 minutes pass, our male bartender is making drinks, talking to friends at the bar, looking at pictures on their phones etc.
I used to work at a different location, I know servers get busy, forget, whatever. Willing to give him the benefit of those things happening, I ask him if he can bring a small ramekin of ranch out with our chips/​salsa. He says sure. Then doesn’t get them or offer an explanation of the wait.
It’s now been 10 – 15 minutes since we ordered. He has brought chips to other tables so I know they’re not out. Finally our meals come, still no app. I ask the server who brought our food if we can get chips/​salsa from her. She returns within 30 seconds.
Food was fine, but I was just so irritated by that point I couldn’t enjoy it.
I know things happen and ppl get busy, but if he has enough time to talk to his buddies about drinking after work and looking at pics and joking around, then he wasn’t that busy.
I will not be returning to this location anytime soon, having someone like that behind the bar is disappointing because they usually have great bartenders at other locations.

My family and I typically enjoy Chili’s. However this Chili’s has made it to the top of our worst list.
We ordered our usual: chips and salsa with table-​side guacamole and chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas. Unfortunately the fajitas were the least seasoned I’ve ever had. The seasoning for the shrimp was literally just dumped right on top. Not much for the rest of the dish. Almost look like an afterthought. Along with the shrimp never fully cooking.
The tableside guacamole started off looking great. Until the first bite I discovered the stem was left on the avocado and mixed right in. We brushed it off, kept going and towards the end we found the second stem. At this point we just wanted to leave. Unfortunately through the experience, the waitress became less and less available. We did receive compensation for the experience. However, we will never return to this location.

After eating out almost everywhere in Flower Mound, this was the most OFFENSIVE experience of my life.
My server was perfect. What wasn’t perfect was the fact that she was obviously aggressively forced to push the idea that I order everything from drinks to dessert through a little kiosk on my table. I could do that at McDonalds. I come to Chilis for a little personal interaction. I pay extra for it, but it’s usually worth it.
When the general manager, Ken Haddox, came to check on us, I was introduced to the most entitled, ineffectual, ARROGANT person I’ve ever met. He insisted that the computers were better for everyone, and if I didn’t agree, that I should go somewhere else and that my opinion on the matter made no difference to him.
Never going back. Sooooo many places to eat in Flower Mound. Never, ever coming back to a place I was treated so rudely.

This chili’s is pretty good as they go, they service is not to bad the food is always good. The have the zoisk things on the table to pay you tab or reorder drinks.
The food is always as advertised. It’s great stop of dinner if I don’t want to cook, and don’t want fast food!
We eat here frequently.

I ordered the spicy shrimp tacos and they were great. They weren’t short ordered tacos slopped onto a plate. The shrimp was well cooked, tortillas soft and the taco itself had a sweet taste to it, but also had a spicy kick. All in all well worth the $ 10.

I’ve been to quite a few Chili’s in my time, and this one held up to standards. Nothing that special, but solid drink service, affordable pricing, and decent serving sizes.
Friendly staff and didn’t wait too long for the food :)

Chilies has gone down hill. This one especially. The service has gotten ridiculously slow. Took over 10 mins for our waitress to come greet us at the table and took over 30mins for the food to be delivered.

Ordered their Nachos. came out very burnt. told the waiter that it was burnt and tasted like «shit». He did nothing. 15 minutes later he came back and i told him to take them away that i could not eat them. I did not have them replaced. stayed 45 minutes more with my party and never say a manager. They do not care. Just a big chain that acts like no mater how bad they are people will still come in. Not me.

Standard Chili’s. No more, no less but exactly what I would expect.
