The employees here are always above and beyond helpful! I always go here first even when it’s a bit of a drive. Brad helped me today in the 100 degree weather and I’m so thankful for his help! My steering wheel fell off while I was driving and he helped me identify the problem to fix it. Such a kind man!

Went in today with a dead battery(had received a jump to get there). Tom, Eric, Alex, & Phil all helped with the battery replacement. They found that the previous battery replacement had been done incorrectly(wires & electrical tape instead of clamp) & corrected the problem. Great service & reasonable pricing. Thanks, guys!

Went there on Saturday to buy pads and rotors. They didn’t have them, so they ordered them from a nearby store and said to come by at noon Sunday to pick them up. In anticipation of a quick repair, I removed the old brakes and rotors before swinging by to pick them up. Oops. When I went in to pick up the items At 12:30, I was told that they won’t be in until after 1:30. Not to worry, they said, they will call me the instant the truck arrives. No call was ever received, but I drove by again around 4 to see if I’d get lucky. The parts had arrived — well, sort of. The pads arrived as did one rotor. For some reason, they only ordered one rotor! Not to worry, they said. They placed another order for a second rotor that would now arrive on Monday. I went ahead and paid for the pads and single rotor. However, I noticed that my nice, Wagner pads was missing the hardware bag. I pointed this out to the assistant manager. Not to worry, he said. If there’s no hardware in the box it’s because my make/model doesn’t use extra hardware. I had to reassemble the vehicle with the old brakes so we could use the car Monday, I picked up the second rotor Monday afternoon without incident. I completed the task of disassembling he brakes a second time. Guess what: my make/model does use extra hardware. And, since someone else helped themselves to the hardware before I bought the pads, and since the assistant manager didn’t care enough to check a schematic before assuring me that my model doesn’t require hardware, I ended up using my old hardware. That’s not the end of the world, but one of the reasons I paid for the high-end Wagner brakes was so that I would get new hardware. In addition to all of the above, their computer system sucked. They had to put my phone number in 10 or so times to find my record. Apparently a recent software upgrade screwed things up. The result was much longer lines and a frustrating transaction. I gave two stars rather than one because what they lacked in institutional and individual competence, they somewhat made up for through a smile and an attempt at good service. They knocked $ 10 off the second rotor for my inconvenience without me even asking.

Purchased a couple of replacement bulbs for my headlights today. I’ve been here occasionally to pick-up air filters or wiper blades, nothing major; but the employees are all helpful and friendly. Very willing to help you find a part, or order one for you(in the event its not already on their shelf). I was finally motivated to write a review today because the bulbs that I bought rang-up $ 9 higher than the shelf tag. Didn’t notice that until I had almost walked out the door, but then I went back to the display and confirmed that I hadn’t mis-read the tag. Yet another employee walked up and asked if he could help me, and I showed him that I’d just bought the bulbs and the price I’d paid, and how the display was wrong. He looked at the shelf tag, agreed that it was wrong, and promptly re-arranged the tags to the correct locations. He thanked me for pointing that out to him, and then he asked if I’d like him to refund the difference to me. Wow. I didn’t think anybody did that anymore, especially without the customer speaking-up first. I took him up on his offer and I got the $ 9(plus tax) refunded to me, no hassle. I’m rarely in a good mood when I’m working on my cars — unlike some people, I’m not«into» cars, so when I’m working on them it’s because something’s in need of maintenance or repair, and I can’t cope with spending a fortune for a mechanic. So an auto parts store with helpful people that have a good attitude makes my bad day a little brighter(headlight pun intended).
