A friend of mine brought me to this place about 2 years ago, and I thank her immensely for it. Food quality is pretty good and it’s cheap. Every time I want to introduce friends to the gloriousness of 火锅 I take them here. The Tom Yum broth is flavorful and I love that they have duck broth. My favorite things to order here are the 鱼片 and 竹笙. A full pitcher of Blue Moon was $ 18, which gave us 6 full mugs of beer($ 3/glass, can’t complain!) They have a deal with a parking garage next door that if you spend more than $ 50, Baidu will stamp your parking ticket for free parking.

Pleasant experience. My only complaint was the server was a bit slow with the meat. Oh and the bathroom is reminiscent of an airplane restroom. The little TVs they have are full of Chinese only videos and stuff, no problem but I would have liked something in English.

We came to Baidu hot pot because the wait was too long for The Dolar Shop hotpot. Baidu didn’t need a wait while we went in. We order the All-You-Can-Eat hot pot for us. The staff was very friendly and nice but the food came out TOOSLOW. And it seemed like they were understaffed. The food quality was very standard. The broth was not tasty enough. Pretty disappointed of this restaurant.

All you can eat hot pot with inclusion of soda and cold beer for $ 27.5 Monday to Thursday, and weekends before 4pm. $ 31.5 after 4 in the weekends. I was shocked by the price as 99 Favor Taste and Hometown Hotpot in Manhattan are just $ 21.99. How can flushing be more expensive?! The food and service was similar to the other hot pot places. They have a make your own sauce station. They offer a ton of choices. The place was very clean, service was fast. The food was decent. Nothing super special. I might come back for the $ 14.95 all you can eat vegetables next time. They have a wide variety of vegetarian options.

Ehh not the best hotpot place I’ve been to in Flushing. My party of 4 arrived at around 1pm and there was barely anyone eating inside. The décor looked nice in the dining area closer to the entrance of the restaurant but the inner area, where we sat, looked more dreary and cramped. We got assigned a table for four that had two hotpots. The buttons to control the temperature were pretty easy to use so that’s a plus. There were also little drawers under the table that had utensils conveniently stored in them. I didn’t like how there was no leg room under the tables though. I would say service was a mixed bag. Some servers were more attentive than others and they were pretty bad in terms of refilling the tea, getting our orders, etc. In terms of the food, everything tasted pretty standard. A highlight had to be the lamb though because it tasted very high quality. I also enjoyed the tripe, beef, the variety of noodles, and the dumplings. My friends also really liked the taro, corn, and fish tofu. They don’t include FJ fish balls as part of the ayce menu, which was a bummer… Overall, this place didn’t really leave a great impression on me. Everything just seemed really meh. The food was alright but the ayce menu seemed very limited in terms of options. It’s also more expensive compared to other ayce hotpot places in Flushing($ 27, $ 34 after tax/tip). They even charge you extra for certain soup bases wtff. Skip this one and go to one of the other Flushing hotpot places instead!

If you want quality hot pot at a reasonable price, Baidu is basically unbeatable in the Flushing neighborhood. Their soup bases are flavorful and cover the whole spectrum from mild to spicy. The food is always fresh, though certain items such as fish balls have small serving sizes. With that said, if you have good appetite, go for their buffet option. It’s about $ 27 for dinner, and you get to choose whatever you want within two hours. Their shaved ice is also very good. Make sure to leave some stomach space for it!

Baidu is a large space with three levels, the lowest level has individual burners that allow you to have your own Shabu Shabu pot. The second and third floor have about one or two larger burners per table depending on the table size. This is one of the few hotpot places that has Kimchi broth. They also have the traditional vegetable broth, Thai style tom yum, and the Chinese spicy broth. You have many options when it comes to picking out what you want to throw in your pot. There are separate meat, vegetable, and seafood sections! Keep in mind you can choose all you can eat for 35 dollars which includes unlimited soft drinks/light beer. I would only recommend this for people that plan on drinking more than 4 glasses of beer because the food here is fairly priced. In terms of service, this is the reason why I gave this place three stars instead of four. There were a few times when I had to order things twice after not receiving it the first time and service seems to always be very inconsistent here. It is near impossible to get a refill of water. If you are looking for a place to accommodate a group of 6 or more for hot pot, this place is probably your best bet since it is one of the bigger hot pot restaurants in Flushing.

It was okay. The beer tasted like flat and that’s why my rating is not higher than 3 stars. Meat and vegetables were fresher than we expected.

My bf got the Groupon deal, two AYCE for $ 35 including unlimited soft drinks/coors light … which was a steal! We thought it would exclude certain meats but we were served the full menu. I don’t see anything wrong w this place and I would come back again. Everything looked clean and the waiters were attentive, refilled all the beers we drank often. The only bad part was I ate so much I got uncomfortably full and had to be carried out. lol

3.5 stars This is our go to spot when we want AYCE and AYCD shabu shabu. For $ 35(two hour limit), it’s worth it(if you’re going to drink a lot). The meat is kind of fatty, the fish is okay(we’ve had better AYCE fish at other spots). They take a while to bring out food so we order a lot in the beginning and more food before we are even done with the food.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. Service kinda sucks, soup base not the best, meat’s cut a little thick. BUT They give you free awesome scallion pancakes!!! Yes I know some other hot pot places does as well, but this place makes darn good ones. Um… not as good as mine of course :-) It’s an ok place on a pinch. not too crowded, sauce collection is good, not too bad, not great but not too bad.

This place is ok, though there are far better hotpot choices. I left very full but not really satisfied.

I can proudly say that I’ve been coming here for a min of 6 years and I’ve loved each and every visit. I have visited both Manhattan Chinese Hot Pot places as well as two others in Flushing and this one by far takes the cake. They have a nice selection of sauces and their broths are nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend to everyone and will be back(again this week, I’m sure!)

I never realized how huge this place was until my first time last week. The wait staff is sufficient and the raw food is presented nicely. Their octopus are actually little baby ones, so cute to eat! Can’t believe it took me this long to finally try this place. We got the half soups, one spicy one regular. Thank god I had the regular one bc the spicy was too much for me. I really have no complaints. I want to come back here to eat soon. Only thing was we weren’t able to finish everything and the waiters kept walking past us and staring which was rude. I was already trying to stuff everything down my throat before we got the check.

There are too many other good hot pot places in Flushing to come here. Although it is good for a Saturday night when all other hot pot places are packed. I don’t like spicy, so I got the non-spicy broth. It literally tasted like water. It was cold when I got it and probs took 15 mins for it to heat up. The sauces are a little weird too. It’s like they bought off-brand sha cha sauce. The sauces just all seemed a little… off. Otherwise, the veggies were fresh. Can’t comment on the meat. The service is not attentive. Oh, the only good thing is that scallion pancakes are included with unlimited hot pot and they’re pretty good. Can’t comment on the hot food.

Came here for a couple of times. And this place is solid. We did the ayce hot pot. Both times I had the half spicy and half kimchi broth. The spicy broth is not as flavorful as some of the other places but it’s decent and their kimchi broth is good. Not spicy and a bit sour. All the items on the menu arrived clean and fresh. The staffs sometimes omit some of the items you order but you just have to keep on reminding them to bring to for you again. And sometimes when they are busy, and it’s hard to flag them down but it’s all good. For a ayce place, this place also offers all u can drink coors light which is very sweet. And I would come back just for that. Overall a solid place. Will be back for sure

If you’re starving and you don’t want to worry about spending too much for a la carte, this hot pot place is a good place to be. For $ 40, you can order as much as you want and there isn’t any time limit unlike Little Sheep. And you can basically order as many dishes at you want at any given time. They have a decent amount of hot pot broths to chose from. I personally like the Kim chee broth. Now it’s not as good as the spicy one at Little Sheep but for $ 40, all you can eat and no restrictions, it’s hot pot paradise.

In celebration of my «21st birthday», my family and I decided to have hot pot here. We made reservations for 8 adults, a baby and a toddler. We were seated on the 1.5 floor, which had tvs at each table.(defnitely a nice amenity if you are dining with children). The tables also had draws, which stored extra napkins, toothpicks and plates. We opted for the all you can eat hot pot, which cost $ 31 a person. Sodas and Coors draft beer are also included in this unlimited package deal(there is also an unlimited deal available during the weekday at a slightly lower cost). They offer a variety of broths/soup base, from the traditional chicken flavor to pickled to spicy. The chicken and spicy broths were really good. You can serve your own rice, which is located by the make-your-own dipping sauce station. The service was a little slow. We had to flag down the waiter to order more food and drinks and to request clean plates(then again, Asian restaurants are not really known for their customer service lol). Our table seemed a little cramped because we had a big party and we ordered lots of food, but we had no where to rest it. I would keep this place in my back pocket since there are not many hot pot places in NYC. Though, I am not sure if I would opt for the all you can eat deal because I don’t know if I got my monies worth.

I had always wanted to go to this place. They do have a bar on the main floor. So you can always have a drink while you’re waiting for your table. The restaurant has two floors, the main floor was full that night so we were seated downstairs. This floor is more commonly known as the basement. My advice to you if you’re seated downstairs, don’t plan to use your cellphone, the reception is horrible to no service at all. So if you need to use your phone, wait for a table upstairs. You can have the AYCE or order the individual dishes off the menu. We decided to order off the menu. We ordered the Angus beef, vegetables, fish, seafood combo, tofu and beef balls. The orders are pretty sizeable and the stuff was fresh. We ordered the herb chicken and spicy soup broth. Wow! the spicy soup was really hot! Now I can eat spicy, but when you lose all sensation of taste in your mouth, it’s time to stop! The area where you mix your dipping sauces had a nice selection. The different dipping sauces included fermented bean curds, garlic, soy sauce and chives just to name a few. I wish our servers would be a little bit more attentive. They were too busy watching the basketball game on TV. Great food for the price. You can’t go wrong.
