I always come here for their coffee! They steam the milk so it’s kind of like a cappuccino but for half the price. I feel their menu is a bit limited — they sell bread, cake, and other small pastries. Hope they expand their menu, such as including sandwiches. They have free wifi here so this would be a great place to study or get some work done. This has been my go to spot for coffee around the area, would definitely recommend.

Was in flushing to get my car fixed(it’s cheaper here!) cause someone decided to bash my sideview mirror in the city Needed a place to stay for a few hours and found this bakery. Walked in here around 4pm and found the lighting in this place to be horrible. Besides the lighting that’s coming in from the outside, the only lights on were by the counter and the display cases. Food/Drinks: Green Tea Latte($ 3.45 + .75 for a size up) — I haven’t gone to any Korean bakery that doesn’t know how to make a green tea latte. The menu says the latte is 3.25 but they charged 20 cents more. Meh French Toast with ham and cheese($ 2.50) — what the name says. It was pretty good. Would probably get it again Overall, it’s a decent place. Like any other bakeries in flushing, it’s filled with those men and women who chill in bakery for hours

When you see a name like Bakery De Paris you kind of expect there to be some Parisian pastries in the store, nope turns out this is a Korean bakery. That being said the name was deceiving and they did not have what I was looking for but I made the best of it and ordered a few things anyway since I was there. After all I did go through a crazy hassle just trying to find parking in the first place so I didn’t want it to be a wasted trip. I looked around at the prepackaged donuts and muffins and grabbed a few things that I wasn’t familiar with but looked tasty. After that I approached the refrigerated cake case and ordered one tiramisu and one strawberry shortcake. Both were delicious. They were $ 3.50 a piece and they were shape triangularly as if they’d been cut from a circular cake. Normally(or at least at the bakeries I go to) they give you rectangular slices for about the same price so you are technically getting less cake for the same price here. In my opinion the quality seemed to be worth it. The tiramisu had a nice mocha flavor and the strawberry shortcake was coated in a light subtly sweet whipped cream. You can tell real strawberries were used throughout the filling. The cake itself was also fluffy and fresh. Even though I was a bit disappointed in the selection at first I ended up happy with what I ordered. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are in a rush unless you have someone with you to double park. If you want coffee, tea, a muffin or a donuts you can be in an out in a few minutes. The whole cakes looked pretty and nicely designed as well but if you are expecting more complex pâté-choux filled pastries or fruit tarts you are better off trying Martha’s in Bayside or Lulu’s on Union Turnpike.

I came here over the summer for some shaved ice while I had to run some errands in the neighborhood. The shaved ice is pretty well known in this café and I understand why. The portion is meant for two and it had a lot of fruits w/condensed milk! It doesn’t get any better than that. But their coffee is average; I can make better coffee at home. Whoops.

I dont know for others but this is hands down the best patbingsoo in flushing for me. And yes, i tried other patbingsoo’s at cocohodo, m2s, caffebene, and yedang. I dont know what it is about here(maybe all that extra condensed milk and chocolate drizzle) but this place actually makes me want to come back for more patbingsoo. I’ll probably be back tomorrow.

If you wanna get good coffee, DONT get iced coffee, instead pay a little extra to get Ice latte. Iced coffee, whatever it is, it’s waay too sweet for me, and they pour it from a container which tells me it’s premade. I like my coffee fresh, thank you! Their latte is pretty good so I’m definately coming back for more! As for the pastry. not bad!

I find myself here often while waiting for dance classes to start since it is conveniently just a flight of stairs apart. All though their products and décor may not be as flashy as the more known Korean bakeries, their products are just as good. They have a large selection of bakery goods and also some cakes. Big range of drinks too, ranging from teas, coffees, smoothies, and milkshakes. The employees are also kind and prompt. Nice peaceful environment and even has free wifi. Would reccomend :)

Got a strawberry cake slice. Flavored very well and perfect sweetness but the cake is too dense, not light and fluffy. First girl I asked for help was, well for lack of a better word, a bitch. Something is clearly up her ass. Second girl was much more helpful. However, they use their hands to grab the cakes out of the case. I watched her fingers touch the cream of my cake… Yea, not coming back here again.

Stopped by after 10pm(they close at 11pm — eep!) on a weeknight and instead of having an attitude, the staff was very pleasant! My friends and I ordered the green tea shaved ice– patbingsoo and it was absolutely delicious. Would love to stop by again for their baked goods. Parking is extremely difficult around the area.

Ordered: Strawberry Bingsoo & Green Tea Bingsoo. Strawberry Bingsoo — Strawberry ice cream, fruit toppings(strawberries, bananas, pineapples, kiwi. etc), mochi Green Tea Bingsoo — Green tea ice cream, fruits toppings(strawberries, mango(?) I don’t remember they all taste good), red bean paste. This is going to be one of the must-go shaved ice places in Flushing. I loved it! Pretty quick, and made with quality ingredients. But be sure to get the seats first!

Their tea menu is good but their coffee needs a bit of work. Never ever ordering anything coffee related again haha. But service and store set up is cute. Perfect bakery to wait for friends and for a bit of snack

After seeing all the good reviews, I wanted to try it cuz I live like two blocks away. I was a bit disappointed… Perhaps my expectations were too high. Bread was stale and dry. My cappuccino had cinnamon flavor to it which I had asked for her to not put in it. Either she missed it or the place has too much cinnamon lying around. So the ice coffee… Since we heard so many praises about it and my fiancé loves ice coffee, we had to get it. It was way too sweet and tasted more like coffee ice cream. Atmosphere is decent to study at but otherwise I wouldn’t go back for the coffee and pastries.

The stuff I think is important to know: — Municipal Ticketed Parking in front — Enough space between tables inside for strollers and wheelchairs — Dimensions inside are small enough to make sure ALL seating is near the entrance. Therefore, there is hardly any way to avoid very cold and/or windy and/or hot weather… — Not much public transportation around Service, quality of food, pricing: — Prices are very competitive — I only had wrapped pastries that were a little bland, stale, and brittle — Personnel are kind and bilingual in, at least, Korean and English The verdict: If I lived nearby or visited the area frequently, I’d come here more frequently; that’s the only reason why I won’t be coming back. Otherwise, if you’re nearby, reading this, and considering walking in, I recommend it for a quick snack and/or beverage that’s only meant to hold your stomach down for long enough before you have a real meal.

This was a cute lil’ spot, and I liked how there was a tiny table & chairs for kids, too, haha. Anyways, we were so full from lunch that we just grabbed some pastries, including the hoof and cream bread. The hoof was kind of weird, just like the name haha, but the cream bread was tasty like it usually is!

I’ve only been here a couple times while waiting for my car at Great Bear. Good, friendly service, decent Korean bakery breads… coffee is just ok. But it’s a good, quiet place to take a break or get some work done. Lots of natural light coming in helps. I hear the bingsoos in the summer are amazing, so i’ll be back to try some of those out.

This café is really cute and chic, it’s also very clean. The staff are super nice and they don’t mind that I bring my dog in sometimes. Coffee and lattes are good, pastries are just okay. My favorites from there will be the potato croquettes and latte. Also there’s no parking so you’ll have to park nearby.

The bubble tea has the chewiest tapioca I’ve ever had and I found out it’s because they make a fresh batch for the morning and evening times. There isn’t a huge pastry selection but I mostly come for the bubble tea anyway.

Great iced coffee! Amazing service and extremely friendly workers. The cream cheese bread is to die for! A nice clean environment, and a great place to just sit down and do some work. In the summer time MAKESURE to get their strawberry patbingsoo. AMAZING!

Bakery de Paris is run by a married couple, and I coincidentally even met their young daughter one day, who wanted to point out a photograph of herself hanging on the wall. Kids are so cute, aren’t they? This is one of several places that I visit so often that they tend to recognize me when I walk through the door. They’re open early, until late, and on Sundays, yay! I’ve tried: *Pastries: typical fluffy Korean-style pastries that don’t particularly differentiate themselves from other bakeries, but I like their baked cookies. I’m not sure if Bakery de Paris is affiliated with Gateaux Bakery, but all their baked goods come in Gateaux packaging. *Bubble tea: the texture is slightly thicker than what you’re probably used to, but not as sweet. And since I’m trying to cut down on sugar, this is a good thing(TMI – I go to the bathroom less.) *Ice cream: the pat bing su(Korean red bean shaved ice) comes with an assortment of colorful, tasty toppings and is large enough for 3, no joke! The other ice cream flavors are also delicious on their own, but I have pat(red beans) in my blood, so pat = king in my mind. *Macarons: my favorite is their blueberry flavor for its tart and sweet taste and the pistachio simply for being pistachio! but their vanilla, strawberry, and hazelnut ones are delectable too. *Iced lattes and milk teas: SOGOOD, but all good things come to an end, and I realized I was slowly becoming bankrupt getting my daily coffee/tea fix at Bakery de Paris. Their menu is pricey and I wouldn’t be patronizing them at all if I lived a bit closer to Paris Baguette, but I absolutely appreciate having a nice, CLEAN bakery with delicious goods(some bakeries around these parts have roach infestations, I kid you not – check the inspection ratings.)

This is probably the best place in Queens I’ve found so far for lone customers who want a semi-quiet spot to get some work/reading done. They play Korean music(duh, it’s a Korean place), not limited to kpop, thank goodness. But Gangnam Style did come on, what a coincidence(not). I came on a Sunday around noon time, and there were only a handful of people. It did get busier after I got there, though. I had an americano which was pretty good as black, and an almond butter bun, which was average. I’m pretty picky when it comes to cafes, and I liked the ambience here; not dead silent but not obnoxiously loud either. I would’ve read more pages in my book if I wasn’t so distracted by my phone. But I’m not giving it 5 stars due to the lack of pastry selection, most of which are«dry» pastries like buns, bread or cookies already wrapped as takeaways. HOWEVER, I did see gelato. If not for the rainy 50-degree weather, I so would’ve had some. Basically, come here for the ambience and coffee, but not for a quick bite or dessert. Oh and FYI, their«customer-only parking» is literally a single-car driveway. Street parking may be scarce depending on when you come, but I was able to find a spot a block away. p. s. wifi is free and they thoughtfully post the pw on a sign right at the cashier counter. You can’t miss it.
