Another one on 32nd Ave that has been here for years. My husband goes to Robert, and he is the only one who can give my preschool aged son a great haircut, since his very first one. Usual men’s haircut/wait time is about 20 minutes, but maybe longer on a Saturday, which seems to be the men’s haircut day of choice. Bring quarters for the meters!

CMC is a local 2 person barbershop in Bayside. George is one of the owners and is the only one I go to. He was my barber at a previous barbershop and when he decided to open up his own shop I followed him there. He’s a pleasant barber, he listens to your instructions and preferences. He cuts at a decent pace, not too fast and not too slow. His prices are competitive to other shops. He won’t give you an opinion on how your cut would look unless you ask. He takes your directions and cuts plain and simple. On top of the cuts he also does the traditional razor blade shave and hot towel. His shop hours are decent, 9 – 7 Mon-Sat, Sundays they are closed. One thing to keep it mind if you decide to go there Saturday morning, he has regulars that get the full works WEEKLY. I avoid that time and go during the week when he’s less busy.
