The people that work there are pretty nice. There was just one problem and that would be the eye doctor. I came in to get some contacts and after the eye doctor examined my Eyes, I got a pair of contacts. Since it was my first time getting my contacts, the eye doctor decided to help me put on the contacts. He told me to look down which I tried to do but I couldn’t because it was a natural instinct for me to look up when someone is trying to stick something in my eye. After 2 attempts, he just told me to get out and claimed that he had better things to do than to help me put on contacts. First of all, if I’m paying you around $ 300 for contacts, you definitely should have the time to help me. After hearing that, it will definitely be my last time returning.

The service here is impeccable. I always rely on Amy for help with my contact lens reorder, glasses adjustments, and general advice about eye care. She remembers me EVERY time I come in, which last time was 4 months ago, and always throwing in freebies and trying to give me the best deal for my order. Everyone there is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The store is very spacious, clean, and they have an EXCELLENT selection of eyewear of all different price ranges. BEST eyewear store in NY if you ask me!

Only after going to other eyewear places (I moved out of NY) did I realize how great I had it with Dabo. I’ve gone to Dabo for more than a decade, and the service and selection have been flawless. Surprised to see that it’s listed with three dollar signs, because I thought it was fairly inexpensive. Eye exam was always quick and accurate, and I never had any trouble with the glasses I got. The same day service is also a huge plus.

Went here based on Unilocal reviews and my experience was great. Came here to buy a pair of glasses and get an eye exam. I was greeted immediately and given the opportunity to check out the different glasses at my leisure. I was given a discount without even asking and was able to pick up the glasses the same day.

Dabo Eyewear is amazing!!! They have many Brand Name frames to choose from: Tom Ford, Prada, Gucci, Ray-​Ban, Kio Yamato etc… For really good prices. They have the cheaper frames as well, many designs and they seem cheaper than anywhere else in Queens I checked, either on Roosevelt Ave. or Corona. Friendly patient customer service, the owner and his staff know their stuff, I bought Prada frame glasses for $ 440 with high index glasses. No more waiting for days to pick up, they’ll be ready in 2 hrs: D one happy customer!!!

I’ve been a customer here for over 10 years, so this better get five stars or I am very, very stupid for being so loyal.
I am in Dabo only one time a year, but they remember me — or at least remember that I am one of their customers. Considering that a year passes in between meetings, I find this pretty remarkable.
The service is great and very friendly/​helpful. I’ll tell you — I’ve even considered getting Lasik, and part of me feels bad that I wouldn’t be giving Dabo my business anymore. Definitely recommend them if you need contacts/​glasses.

Unbelievable service,
Amazingly unbelievable.
I needed an eye exam, and new glasses.
Take note I timed the moment I stepped in the store and when I got out and I was in there for under 20 minutes (they were busy, it’s a Saturday). You can tell they are consistent with their business because customers were in and out and they have a lot of staff on the floor. As soon I came in, I had someone helping me, verified my insurance ASAP and had me transferred to be seen by the doctor which she was not only nice and professional she made me feel like I was a friend.
WAIT THERE’S MORE!!!
The best part was, I got finished there in under 20 minutes and I get to pick up my BRAND glasses on the same day… 2 hours after my exam to be exact. No more waiting for days, no more suffering.
I wish they had more stars because this place deserves like a hundred of them. Not only the location is great, easy to find, the people are so friendly.
Can’t wait to go back and get some contact lenses.

Super friendly staff that are tri-​lingual. (I know, those smarties)
They don’t try to rip you off, rather, they tried to give me the most affordable deals with coupons, rebates, and all that jazz.
I’ll definitely be returning when I get blinder next year.

Ive been buying my contacts here for quite a few years, and they have great customer service and they really care about the health of my eyes!
recently my eye kept getting infected and my optometrist didn’t know why so she recommended me to try the pricey one day contacts. i was so worried that i wouldnt be able to wear contacts again, but dabo recommended a contact solution to fix the infection even tho I suggested buying the more expensive one day contacts. I’m so glad they recommended the solution! now i dont have spend tons of money on those one day contacts!
it really showed that they aren’t obssessed with making money and that they truly care about my eyes.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years now. Their staff has always been helpful and friendly. They offer the cheapest price for eyewear in Downtown Flushing. I buy contacts and eye glasses with them annually. Accuvue oasis (2 weeks disposable) contacts is $ 225 after rebate with doctor’s check up (to determine if my vision has changed or not).That’s the best deal I’ve found! They don’t even offer it at this price online.

My bf and I recently got eyeglasses here and the lady who helped me (Emily) was incredibly patient and sweet. I’m a very indecisive person when it comes to picking stuff out and often find many other Asian salespeople to be impatient and rude. Emily didn’t rush me at all, listened to my concerns and recommended several frames for me to try on.
Dabo gives discounts if you already have your prescription for glasses (I believe it’s $ 10 off). I don’t have vision insurance but found this place to be affordable.
I highly recommend this place!

This place is awesome. Around the corner, near the Flushing Public Library. The price is little bit expensive but the customer service and the quality of the products are outstanding!!!
Just ask the owner if you can get more discounts. He is very nice.
