Great work from Winnie each time I come here, and it’s affordable, too! I pay $ 6 for men’s hair cut. Winnie really listens to how I want my hair done and checks in periodically during the cut to make sure it’s coming out okay. She’s willing to spend as much time as she needs, so I never feel rushed!

Yu Z. summed it all up. If you’re looking for a fancy salon, go else where. You get what you paid for. $ 6 kids and men, $ 8 women, extra $ 2 for hair wash. Brushes have hair stuck to them, and combs have missing teeth, but you’ll get great haircuts! They have so many customers and are fast. Their buzz cuts are neat. There’s only one hair washer. So most people really come in for the cut and leave. If you can’t communicate with your barber, ask«Jacqueline» to help you translate. She can speak English, Mandarin and Spanish. She was so helpful!

I went with my husband to get a haircut and it was absolutely disgusting. They don’t have any disinfecting solution to clean their supplies. They just used a toothbrush to scrub the razor and then just tapped it against the table. And then on they went to cut his hair HORRIBLY. You get what you pay for and we paid $ 6, but it was badly done and uneven. He just needed it to be cut short all around but it’s just horrible and he looks like a monk now. I’m glad his hair will just grow out in a month, I will never let them touch my hair!

This has been my go-to barber shop for the past 21 years! Yeah. They’ve been open since the late-80s if I’m not mistaken. Which is quite impressive considering how shops and businesses come n go in Flushing. It’s not a big hair salon. only one floor. They have about 9 work stations, of which 6 or 7 are occupied even during busy hours(you wouldn’t wanna bump elbows while cutting someone’s hair. haha). It’s CASHONLY — And the barbers barely speak any English. But don’t be discouraged. The owner, she’s almost always there. and she speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, English & Spanish. Which is quite impressive considering she’s Chinese. I’ve seen her converse on par, with many Spanish speaking customers! #MuchRespect Idk the prices for Females. But for dudes & kids, it’s ONLY $ 6 for a haircut. $ 10 for a cut & shampoo. If you request it, the shampoo lady can massage your temple and head while washing your hair. Its quite comfortable! :D There’s a nail salon in the small back room. and from what I’ve seen, it’s quite busy. Steady stream of regulars come in. They take walk-ins, but appointment are preferable. Each barber has his/her own skills and expertise: *My favorite guy, he’s tall, very thin, with light skin & reddish brown hair, name is pronounced AHHYONG;he’s the BEST. In my opinion, very skilled, technical, takes his time and he remembers his client’s hairstyles very well!(he’s always busy. has a client list that calls him on his cell, asking when he’s available). **There’s an woman in her late 50s, no idea what her name is, but her specialty is women’s haircuts and styling. I’ve seen her work on a customer’s complicated hairstyle for up to 4 hours once. And apparently she does good work too; she has the 2nd most customers asking for her. ***This Cantonese guy in his late 30s, has a weird hairdo that I can’t really describe. Tan skin, and he talks weird too. I can only understand like 20% of what he’s saying. –_– Anyways, this guy is absolutely hilarious! Every time I see him work, I can’t help but chuckle and shake my head more than a few times. He could be cutting someone’s hair, then the next minute, he’s looking at himself in the mirror, using the blow dryer to blow off some hair or dust from his clothes, comb his hair, wink at himself in the mirror. –_– Clearly the guy is in love with himself. He has a personality bordering on narcissism. Lmao Anyways, those are the 3 main barbers I know about. lol It’s a nice little hair salon. Come in here for a quick & cheap haircut when you’re in Flushing.

Not pricy and convenient location. Most of the stylists are pretty good at what they are doing. This salon has been around for more than 20 years.
