Delicious bowl of mash with chicken. Always the same. Great fast food. Hits the spot every time. Will be back for more.

The food here is what you would expect from a fast food restaurant, low vibrational foods, all fried and cheap ingredients, however when you have a craving, sometimes you have to submit to it. The only bad thing I can say, is that on the menu for certain things it says that the combo comes with 1 side, and when you order it, they tell you it doesn’t come with that even though the menu board says it does. Whatevz, I wish I could say I won’t be going back, but I will be most likely.

It is Queens Center Mall and it will be crowded most of the time, well at least you would think. I notice more traffic at the Taco Bell or Sarku Japan (fake Japanese) whenever I do seem to end up in the mall.
Last time I was here, I got the 10 piece Chicken Bites. It was ok, the item is a new and the chicken was just kind of dry to me. It is basically Actually Chicken breast piece that are cut off the chicken then breaded, so slightly bigger than the Popcorn chicken and it came with Potato wedges and a medium drink. I won’t complain too much for only paying $ 5.43 with a coupon. It worked for me that day. Service was pretty quick, I didn’t have to wait too long to get my order. Dr. Pepper did taste pretty good from the soda machine. Sometimes, I don’t trust Dr. Pepper at one of the refill your own fountains, it tends to be flat, almost taste like really bad tasting Diet Coke.

Although KFC does not make the best fried chicken, I must admit they make the best FAST FOOD fried chicken.
The lowdown on the chicken:
1) pretty good. I like extra crispy.
2) a bit salty, but still edible. make sure you have plenty of drink just in case though.
The lowdown on the service:
1) these guys are pros: They get you in and out quickly by working like robots.
2) they sometimes let you keep the coupons for future use: Now how cool is that!!!
3) accommodating: Sometimes if you go at the end of the night and they don’t have what you’re looking for, they just pack a bunch of stuff together. You end up hauling out a lot of food that’s worth more than you paid!
Although I’m not that into KFC, this location deserves 4 stars!

Well, I got my free piece of chicken 26-​OCT-​2009 when KFC offered another free piece of grilled chicken day. Unfortunately, at this location, there was no grilled chicken. According to the small sign management posted, grilled chicken was not available at this location because the oven was broke and the sign also told customers «sorry for the inconvenient» (notice the spelling error?) I thought it was funny, but infuriating at the same time. How can the oven be broke at one of the most important promotional time periods? They only had one person on cashier (who is possibly a manager since he kept directing another employee in Spanish how to fulfill KFC orders while taking my order and handling the cash register at the same time) and one person to fulfill orders. There’s probably employees in the back that I don’t see. Didn’t KFC understand the frenzy the free chicken promotion caused last time? Yet, there wasn’t much of a line and business was real slow here at the mall. This isn’t a good sign to me. The person behind us asked about a free chicken piece and the manager-​type employee offered him a free piece of chicken. My husband and I ordered the twelve-​piece chicken combo. I also asked about no more free chicken since the guy behind us is obviously getting a piece, and the manager-​type employee was willing to give us an extra piece of either crispy or original chicken instead of the grilled chicken.
The order fulfiller placed extra pieces of chicken in our twelve piece bucket. I thought the order fulfiller didn’t understand English since he was speaking Spanish all the time, but he understood we needed plastic forks and gave us some plates and napkins without asking. It pays to be nice to people.
Just like my previous reviews, I always end up getting something free at KFC because they are so willing to compensate me for «inconvenient» (inconvenience.)

sigh, i hate rating Fast food restaurants because I feel guilty eating in them. The food in fast food restaurants are usually prepared without freshness, quality, or style; they had to have been frozen and defrosted and normally, they are very high in sodium and saturated fat. This KFC is just like all KFCs; fried chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and biscuits. So i’m going to rate on the service.
As for the service, it is the slowest KFC i’ve ever been to. The service disgraces the «fast food» name and it’s just a disappointment. They are usually run by spanish workers who dont really want to work there but they have to.
As for convenience, this is in the mall, it’s the only KFC in the zip code and it’s easily accessible.
Eat here if you want but while you’re there, try out the Terikayi Japanese Chicken place directly across from the KFC, it’s somewhat healthier and less fried. Well, have fun eating guys =)
