Came here to find a place to hunker down and study. Got a decent selection of coffee from Illy. Ordered the café latte, decent enough. Like the fact that the place feels open, plenty of table to set-up. Looking for outlet will be another thing, they’re a little more harder to find. I’ll be coming back definitely compared to another coffee place that I’ve frequented a lot recently. All because of faster wifi connection.

Wifi sucks. They should try changing the password once in a while so people stop siphoning their connection whenever they’re near by. Don’t even try connecting to the wifi because you’ll be staring at your device for about 10 – 15 minutes. After a miracle, you’ll finally have connection only to discover they probably use some crappy dial up service like earth link or something. If you’re here to chill then you’ll be fine. I like illy coffee so they can get a two star from me. Minimum credit card: $ 10

Not every drink is great here, but the affogato here is the best I’ve had anywhere, and I have tried many. The ice cream and espresso are notably high quality and the size is generous. Music can be a little loud at times, but a better café than most in the area.

The environment is great with the addition of parking in the back but the barristas are terrible and can’t even get the right size of my drink or even temperature of my drink correct. I also ordered bread and asked for it to be toasted but our server ended forgetting completely about it.

I love this place. Great coffee. Stable wifi. Perfect for studying. They also have amazing Belgian waffles and alternative drinks besides coffee.

Usually, I’m very easy going when it comes to writing reviews for a café because you can’t really go wrong with a place like this… But man M2S. So first thing first, I biked here and there was no where I could park it. No bike rack anywhere on the block. So I had to find a fence and lock my bike there. Second, bought their café latte and I was very excited. They have two shots in a medium and a small. Three shots in a large. The price was decent. Not very expensive. The staff was very nice. But the coffee… Had one taste of it and didn’t touch my coffee again. My friend tried to add hot water to the green tea she bought but the barista said«no refill.» Like come on. It’s hot water! Third, if you’re looking for a studying place. This is not the place to be. Although they have a lot of space in here, it’s hard to find a table with outlets. People are talking everywhere. Some people even brought their babies in here. And most importantly, their music is WAYTOOLOUD. Tried to block the noises with my earphones and music but it’s impossible. One second, they’re playing Korean pop music and rock music. It’s terrible. Lastly, their wifi connection is really bad. Took me forever to get on their wifi and once I was logged on, nothing loaded. So I had to use my own internet and hotspot my laptop. In general. I would not come back here again.

Good space for if you need to meet someone. Parking lot in back and lots of seating. BUT the menu is really small. And the workers are so spacey. They totally spaced on one of my drinks. It wasn’t busy and there was no reason other than spacey-ness. Tip is to make sure to get a receipt so that you can show them your order when they mess it up. Mostly seems like Korean(?) people of all ages are here. Beware the communal tables with the student looking peeps. They mean mugged the entire time at anyone who sat down at the same table. If you want silence, study at a library or in your bedroom, you punks!

This place is one of the better café options in the Flushing/Bayside area. It gets pretty busy here throughout the day, so if you’re coming here to study, make sure you come as early as possible to grab a seat. The Internet connection here isn’t consistent so be prepared for that! There are a few outlets here. One by the entrance along the concrete wall, on the table with the stack of magazines. Another underneath the cushion seats, right next to the counter of straws, napkins, milk, etc. Three more along the three tables in the middle of the café. And I believe a few more by the couches but I never sit there, so don’t quote me on that! Now regarding the menu items. A bit pricy to be honest but they’re running a business, so we have no control over that. Their bingsoo(shaved ice thingies) are tasty, nothing out of the ordinary. The coffee is decent. I’m not a huge coffee guy, so don’t bash me if the coffee isn’t any good. Overall this is a good café. I knocked off one star for the loud obnoxious kids that come to pretend to study and create a less appealing atmosphere. Also for the bad internet connection. Clean bathroom by the way! Not sure about the female bathrooms since I’m a dude.

They should be ashamed for making good coffee bad… I mean BAD! They make Illy a bad name… what’s worse is that the employees are all equally worse… I hope I’m wrong now cause I stopped going there for a while. I used to be regular when they first open but since then they kept going down hill… I really hope they recover and whoever the owner is, he should train them..

It’s a nice café. Some of the good things are when you just want a place to sit down with friends and talk. It’s not really a café where you sit down to study unless you bring earplugs. Their music consists mostly of Mainstream K-Pop & Hip-Hop which can be loud at times. But if you’re looking for a place that can seat a big group of people(we’re talking 8+ here) and want to talk/be a little louder than normal, then this is the place. Coffee is meh. I think this place is worth more for the socializing points rather than its coffee.

Lots of seating and room for studying or hanging out. Free Wifi as well. I’m not a big fan of the coffee here but I’ve been spoiled by One of a Kind. You might like it, I dunno. The bingsoos here are great, though. Get the misugaru one but don’t inhale as you try to eat it!

Coffee is eh. Service is meh. They’re like robots behind the counter. Ooh, except once when I actually met a decent human being who was kind enough to look at me at least once while I was at the register. The place appears to be pretty crowded on most days despite it’s decent space. Their air conditioner seems non-existent… It’s hot in there on a sunny day. Avoid sitting by the front window or else you’ll slowly burn alive. But when the sun’s not out and it’s not scorching hot, you can sit there and still see tomorrow. A number of my friends frequent this café because of the space and apparently the Wi-Fi is quick here. I come here because it is a nice space to chit-chat. So if you’re in need of a study spot with quick internet or simply catching up with a friend, this place can potentially be the place for you.

Great space, open late. But much too often have certain items unavailable. I go because they have the best Iced Cappuccino.

This is my place to study. Free internet connection which sometimes lags… good coffee, delicious honey breads, great atmosphere, great hours of operation… because I’ve studied here til closing time before. There is parking, and they close at midnight. Good location. Loveee!

The misugaru bingsu was pretty good. Portion was big, but tho its just shaved ice. Seems like everyone goes here after they had korean bbq in one of the several places near by.

I came here for Coffee, and Coffee is what I got. Quality coffee. The price was fair and the beans were neither burnt nor sour. I would recommend this gladly to anyone looking for Top Quality Coffee. Leave Steinbucks for the uneducated troupe. The atmosphere was awful. Blaring rap music. I didn’t expect Milan a café, nor was my intent to stick around. I’ll never understand this degenerated obsession. Coffee: 5 Stars Atmosphere: 0 Stars Staff: 4 Stars

After a great dinner next door, my friends and I came over to M2S to grab a drink and have some dessert. M2S is located on Northern Blvd at the corner of 165th street. There are plenty of parking in the vicinity, street metered parking are free after 7pm and there is also a parking lot in the back of the café.(just be careful cause it can get a bit dark there) First impression: Wow this place is big, bright, clean with a lot of open space. Very minimal décor and simple furniture(ikeaish) but feels cozy, especially with the couches in the back of the café. I can see myself reading a book while lying on the couch. With the couches in the back, the place can probably accommodate around 30 – 40 people. We came on a Wednesday night at around 8pm and it wasn’t too crowded, although the place was beginning to fill up at around 9pm or so. We wanted to try their Fruit Bingsoo but the cashier told us they were out already so we opted for the green tea ice cream instead.(me and my green tea ice cream addiction) I believe the green tea ice cream were $ 3.50 for 3 scoops, very reasonable price! The ice cream was not overly sweet and you can definitely taste the roasted green tea flavor, it was creamy but it balanced the bitterness of the green tea very well! and for $ 3.50, it’s a steal! Overall: M2S is a perfect place to be when you need a place to relax and read or study. The place is nice, bright, roomy and there’s even free wifi. I haven’t experience the crowd yet but I can imagine the place getting packed. I will be back again to try the Bingsoo(hopefully they have it) and try a shot of their expresso!

From the outside and inside, this place looks great and comfy! Unfortunately, this place can be majorly overcrowded at times. Why? It’s definitely the atmosphere, not the coffee. For representing Illy, a great espresso brand, their coffee did not taste great at all. I tried the café latte and the café au lait, both were lacking the fresh coffee kick. It just tasted bland and watery. Also, for such a nice café, they give everyone to-go cups(where’s the mug experience?). For the price, a little latte art would be lovely, no?
