Perma Clean

My jacket was damaged by Perma Clean and Carlos refused to issue a refund. I was not informed of any risks before hand and was told I should reach out to the manufacturer for a resolution. After I took it to another cleaners for repair, I contacted Carlos to be reimbursed and he refused. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and I will never use this service again.
Do not take your leather or polyester materials to this dry cleaners!

Don’t bring your expensive stuff to dry clean, you’ll REGRET just like I did. Perma is good only for the cheap everyday wear (work shirt and pants).

I purchased a gown that had three layers the inner layer polyester, the next layer lace and third outer layer was tulle. The tulle layer had two tears in it but I purchased it because it was too long and once shortened the tears would have been removed.
I took the dress to perma cleaners in Flushing. The store owner did measurement to have the dress shortened and gave the instructions to her seamstress. I received a call and a picture from the store owner because the seamstress, cut the tulle outer layer too short, it was shorter than the inner two layers.
The store owner is insisting that I requested the dress to be cut this way. She refunded my alteration fee but would not give any compensation towards purchasing a new dress. I have a before and after picture of the dress available.
Lesson learned, if you need alterations to a gown don’t let the store owner take the measurements make sure you deal directly with the seamstress/​taylor

I cannot believe it has taken me th long to write a review for this place!!! Ive been coming here for years and my clothes have been the better for it. The service here is great and fast. I work right next door in the Physical Therapy clinic, so im always in and out. I remember bring in 5 pairs of suits that needed slight alterations and they worked with my specifications down to the smallest detail.
To my knowledge, this dry cleaners is family owned and operated. The people there are extremely friendly and provide an exceptional service to their clientele. I mostly interact with Alexandera. They accept credit card or debit and give u 10percent off if u pay up front. Now thats a good deal.

Running late… Not ready 1 hour after promised. Did a good job but needed shirt express, which didn’t happen.

Another one of my favorite local businesses.
They’ve been here for 3 or 4 years now I guess, and I’ve been a customer about as long. I have the misfortune of having to wear a suit and tie for work, therefore dry cleaning is one of those unwanted necessities. But as long as I must get dry cleaning done of a regular basis, I’ll use Perma Clean.
First of all, their hours are excellent as far as dry cleaners go — 7AM-​8PM Monday-​Friday, and last I checked they’re open until 5PM on Saturday. Turn around time is quick, the prices are right, and if you pay in full at the time you drop off your items, you get a 10% discount. What’s even better, they accept credit and debit cards.
This is just a really well run business and they’re very convenient. Yet another asset to the neighborhood that I hope you will all support!

Such nice people, great service! Doing alterations on my jacket in less than 24 hrs for no extra cost. Very easy to explain what i needed!
