So, I have to be honest. I don’t like shopping. The crowds, the cost, the lack of service, the lack of sizes and selection, the crappy quality… But, from time to time I do hit a shopping home run, and today was one of those days. Walking into the clean, bright and well stocked Converse outlet store today I was greeted by a couple of sales associates with big smiles and offers of assistance. I thanked them, but I knew where the Chuck Hi-tops live! Grabbed a pair my size and after swapping some cash I was good to go. Fantastic shopping experience today and I will definitely be back!

My husband and I had never been to the Folsom outlets before, and this was our first stop. When we walked in, there were 2 employees too busy carrying on a rather loud and animated conversation(one of which had his back to the entrance) to even greet us. The one that didn’t have his back to us made eye contact, but still did not greet us or even flash a smile. Having worked in retail for 10+years, this really bothered me. So I walked up to the front and said«So is it not part of your service to greet people when they walk on?» His response was«You didn’t hear me say hi to you?» I scoffed and walked away. He proceeded to follow me and said«How are you today? Need help finding anything today?» I was so turned off that my husband and I just left. Don’t expect anything more than discounted service at this outlet store.

After searching for MONTHS, I found the shoes I was looking for!(Union Jack) The gals behind the counter here were SOHELPFUL and really nice. It was a jam-packed Saturday, yet they never lost their cool. Plus, they let me know about the BOGO Sale where the 2nd one was 60% off! I paid only 8BUCKS for my shoes that at 70 and up online!!! This location has all things Converse and ROCKS!

I am very disappointed with their customer service and I feel that the quality of their shoes have gone down as well. I have owned multiple pairs of Converse for years(over 5 years old a few of the pairs). I had my newest pair from them for six months and I do not wear them every day. The bottom part(sole) is coming off. I have never seen any of my pairs of Converse do that. I went to the store for an exchange cause that is clearly a quality issue. The clerk said that they would only exchange them if it has been a month not six and that shoes should only last six months is what he stated. Tell that to my pair of Converse that are over 5 years old and the soles are not coming off the shoe. I am very sad to see a company like Converse not stand behind their products.

The fall Chucks are so cute! It’s fun to pair different shoelaces to give these shoes two looks ! It’s almost like getting two pairs for the price of one.

Good selection of chucks. Clothing limited. Their clearance section of shoes is awesome, if you take the time to look through the shoes and get lucky. Found some awesome chucks, but not my size. Will be back to look for deals. Friendly staff.

Don’t be a dummy! If you like Chucks and you leave within 1 hour of this store, and if you choose to buy your Chucks elsewhere, YOUAREDUMB. I’ve been on a Chuck Taylor buying spree lately. I’ve price compared at Foot Locker, Finish Line, Kohl’s, JC Penney, Sears, Target. Hell, I even thought about getting the Airwalk«Chuck Taylors»(Shhhh, they’re called ‘Airwalk Kicks’). Anyhoo, I walked in this place and it was the friggin’ Chuck Taylor Mecca. Red ones, green ones, blue one, orange ones, leather ones, nylon ones, high tops, low tops. And yes, THEYHAVEFATLACES(multiple colors) to replace the skinny laces that come by default with your Chucks. I could have walked out with 10 pairs, but my wife would have kicked my behind. Instead I «only» bought two pairs. A raspberry(red) pair for $ 19.99 and a neon«Blaze Yellow» pair, also for $ 19.99. All clearance items seemed to be $ 19.99. Regular items ran upwards of $ 50. These were mainly for the leather Chucks(beautiful!). Generic black canvas Chuck high tops were like $ 40. WTH? Anywayz, I’ll be back!
