I love this place, unfortunately I hate the fact on at least 5 occasions they were not open as per their posted hours. Very frustrating that I can never count on them being open… So I go to that McDonald’s next to it instead. :(

Luckily, we found doughnut addict MONTHS ago, when the original owners still owned it. They were a little pricey, but they were FUN! Fun flavors, super creative. The place was just a fun doughnut shop. After bragging about it all day yesterday at work, I took my son in there just to grab a quick treat. Woah. It’s like walking into a doughnut funeral shop. The ambiance took a 180 as did the doughnuts. The lights were barely on, the girl working barely acknowledged us, and the selection of donuts were the same basic selections. So depressing. I’m not a huge donut person, but it sucks that an original place couldn’t stand up. I’m not gonna drive back over here for any more donuts. They should really change their name so I’m not the last person to be let down by this. I guess if we want to get a neat-o doughnut, we’ll make the drive to bakers dozen. At least they’re employees say more than just a grunt.

I had this review on their CLOSED Doughnut Addict Unilocal page, so I wanted to make sure it is entered on this page as well: Update — this place re-opened in January and now it’s quite gross. We’ve given them 2 chances since they reopened. Last year, before it closed, it had specialty donuts and was really unique. The donuts were delicious. They had so many kinds. I had a delicious blueberry lemon one. My husband had a Reese’s Pieces one, etc. But since they reopened, well, I’d rather get day old supermarket donuts. I got a donut(their only remotely unique donut) thinking it was cinnamon raisin. Nope. It was a plain donut with raisins on it. No cinnamon, just raisins. It was so gross. And their chocolate donuts are gross too. The place doesn’t smell like a donut shop. I just wonder if they even make them there? Something’s a little off with the place. Atmosphere and donuts. There are more populated, more interesting donuts elsewhere in town.

I found it strange that on a monday morning this place was not open bright an early. My daughter wanted a donut and we then said lets go to our favorite place next door. Upon going next door to Coffee republic getting a coffee and a sweet… We walked to are car, which was parked in front of the donut shop and the shop owner lady was unloading all the donuts that were made from her car and loading them on to a metal baking rack… as if they were made in the shop. NOTTRUE!!! we walked right next to her and I noticed all the donuts in the girls car that were not coverd up… I found this gross… We have never had the donuts before and although they might be good… But… I am scared at the way they are being traved across town to the shop. and dont think thats a good idea to at least not cover them up from fibers… oils…etc…from the car and trunk where they were placed… Strange!!!

The biggest problem I have with doughnuts(in general) is that they tend to upset my stomach if they’re too sweet. Not a problem here! I get the custard filled rounds and they’re DELICIOUS. I can eat the whole thing and not feel even a little sick after. They have your usual selection of donuts with a few specialties(like candy bar themes and a bacon-maple bar). The owner is pleasant and the prices are pretty reasonable.

I frequently visit BJ Cinnamon and the service and quality is far superior at BJ Cinnamon. The service was subpar. We were greeted at the counter. There are numerous types of «gourmet» doughnuts. It almost looks like they’re trying to mimic some of the selection at Voodoo Donuts in Portland, OR. If you’re looking for a novelty doughnut like one covered in Fruit Loops or Captain Crunch, then you could try this place. In my opinion, the doughnuts are overpriced. The product itself is a bit dry.

Gorgeous décor, I’m hoping they start selling décor as they have fabulous taste! My son wanted a doughnut, so I grudgingly came here, as my diet doesn’t allow for bread. Lol. Well I ended up getting a chocolate croissant & it’s great! My son got a chocolate doughnut & a cinnamon roll and had no complaints:-) Will most likely be returning every time I stop by to get my Favorite coffee which is next door at Coffee Republic.

Nice selection of donuts, one with a slice of bacon on it, they also have other pastries
