I will never go back. I was way overcharged for a gel pedicure and it’s starting to fade after only a few weeks. I don’t recommend this place.

They seriously try to over charge people by not giving you a set price to what you want done, the fact that they don’t have prices posted any where is a red flag. Check their site before asking for anything, they are rude and pushy.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I walked into the empty salon and asked for a French pedicure, in broken English the lady sits me down and all I understand was the words $ 29. I thought ok cool, only a few dollars extra no big deal. Sat there and got a pedicure all while every lady crowded around me staring at my fingernails and saying «too long too long» while I wasn’t even there for my fingers! After she finished I went to pay and she said $ 54!!! Not worth it! It’s been 2 weeks and all the polish has peeled off and 2 toenails are shorter because the lady didn’t understand what I wanted! Go here at your own risk. I for sure will never be back and will warn everyone about this place!

I’ve been coming here since they opened (literally) and swear by it :) I’m definitely a clean freak and this place never fails my standards! They clean every bath tub impeccably and all their tools are new opened with a plastic wrapper after its been sanitized. They never reuse any nail files or buffers (which I love). Many of the girls are good but my personal favorite is Lynn she’s amazing and I always work with her. I can call her 30mins before and she will fit me in. Her works amazing not to mention lasts super long. I don’t live close 25 mins away so I can’t come every three weeks but even when I wait the 5 weeks they have no sign of coming off. It’s a little pricey but its always worth it to me because their work is quality and neat. I do not go to other salons and when I have (quick mani) I always regret not coming here. Definitely worth it!!! Lynn Lynn Lynn is the way to go!

Love this place. Been here ever since Sandy, my Nail Manicurist, came here! My powder acrylic nails last so long. And Sandy is fast and very skilled at designs and perfectly shaping my nails!

New to the area — first time here. I called and made and appointment for 2:30 on a Wednesday. Arrived on time and had to wait 30 min to be taken. The service was good. I had a pedicure and gel nails put on. They took their time cleaning my nails and removing dead skin. Staff was friendly but didn’t talk much.

My first time here I swore I wouldn’t come back. Then I received a gift card and didn’t want it to go to waste. I made an appointment and when I arrived they were mad at me because I didn’t want the more costly pedicure. Lyn was aggressive with my feet, left several times to answer the phone then the entire staff went to the back room when lunch was served. I am still sitting out here waiting to pay someone.

I haven’t even started my pedicure yet, and already it’s 40 minutes past my 2:30 appointment time. They put me into a pedicure chair at 2:40, and I waited so long the water got cold. They added more hot water, and I’m still waiting. This will be my only visit here, as they haven’t apologized or acknowledged me at all. Horrible customer service.

Not… being a Viet Nam vet, and they knowing that not once was there a thanks for my service, owner totally rude when trying to engage in pleasantries, busy crocheting. Nails weren’t even clean when I left, won’t be back there and would not recommend this place to anyone. I’m going to be judgmental… sorry but the owner needs to have some personal hygiene and groom herself being in a place of business dealing with the public.

Excel is amazing. Definitely my go-​to. My nails never last between working in the yard, cleaning my house and chasing my kid, but when I get them done at Excel they are the longest lasting I’ve ever had. Fingers and toes! Awesome environment, great chairs, color selection, clientele, etc. Fantastic service, never feel rushed. Went here for my wedding and have even dragged my husband in a time or two, of course it was after a beer or two at any of the restaurants in that parking lot ;)

The Worst! Not clean, the lady doing my nails stopped 12 times to run and answer the phone… it took 90 min to get a basic pedicure which was not even good! She massaged my feet for 2 min! Total ripoff… never will be back!

Best place in Folsom!!! Lilly is the manicurist I work with and she is patient and kind and loving. She’s a great salon owner, unlike most and also does hair too! I have brought my son in a few times and she is so sweet t him. Not to mention her work is beautiful!!!

I have been going to Linda at Excel Nails for years. It is the best and cleanest nail salon in the area. Everyone there is extremely friendly and professional. Linda is an amazing manicurist, she is a talented artist and a perfectionist. Her work is flawless and lasts longer than any other pedicure or manicure I have had. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to make an appointment.

I had an appointment today at 1:00 PM for a pedicure and had to wait 25 minutes. Then I was rushed through the pedicure. My pedicure consisted of soaking my feet, a quick scrub and a quick massage and then polish, they were done with my pedicure un under 20 minutes. I totally felt cheated and they did a terrible job. I will NEVER, NEVER go there again! I gave them one star ONLY because I had to, the review would not except 0 stars.

Love love love this place. Very clean. Sweet ladies. Do whatever you want without questioning you like other places. A ton of acrylic powder colors. And they last forever. I am very picky and I can get my
Nails done today and they look like I just got them done three weeks from now.

Clean salon. Quick service and unique services. I got the Tropical pedi today, but the others looked tempting too. I may try the chocolate strawberry next time I’m in the area.

Excel nails is always one of the first places I want to go to on my visits back home from college. The ladies here are ON POIINNTTT! From the comfy pedicure chairs to the meticulous nail designs, everything here is a win!
Every time I go here my nails are perfected and very detail-​oriented. The creativity the ladies have here make Excel stand out from other salons. They have some designs displayed, but their real artwork is in their
heads. Lily is amazing, she can literally make any design you request. I prefer her to just surprise me because she comes up with something new and unique each time. All designs are done free-​handedly, even on acrylic nails. Oh, and you can even get 3D nails done here!!! I’ve been dying to try them out for the longest time, but I never have the time to when I’m here for a visit. I wish I knew about this place when I was still in high school, because this would have definitely been my go-​to salon for proms and whatnot.
The only con I can think of is that it’s pricey. I definitely would not normally be able to afford getting my nails did from here, but luckily I have mommy dearest to always treat me out when I come to visit. :) But hey, you get what you pay for here. Except there are some interesting pedicures such as the $ 65 sangria one or chocolate something one… not exactly sure if dipping your feet in chocolate and wine actually benefit your feet. Would love to try if I had the money though! I have tried the lemon drop pedicure and the peaches and cream one… absolutely delightful! As of manicures, their gel nails are a MUST TRY! My natural nails feeling like indestructible acrylics, LOVE.
One last thing, keep in mind that there are two locations. Lily and probably others bounce back and forth to both salons, so make sure you know what location to go to when coming to appointments!

This is an outstanding salon. They girls are fun and chatty. But most importantly the pedicure lasts, and lasts, and lasts. I received a pedicure on August 22^nd 2012, and it still looks great (except for the fact that they have grown out) a month and a half later. No chips, still shinny. And I am a bare foot kinda girl!
Although the prices are bit higher than other salons, it worth every extra penny. Speaking of extras, try one of their «signature» pedicures. You will NOT be disappointed.

This by far has been the best nail salon I have been to in the Sacramento Area, East bay area, and Central Valley area!
It shows Lilly takes pride in her stores and wants to make sure everything is going well and the customer is satisfied. The salon is always clean. The workers are always nice. If you have a problem with one of them she tries to fix the problem. I have been going to this salon since it’s opened I believe in 2006 or 2007.
