After being at another dance studio for 3 years I moved my daughter to Leighton Dance Project to get a better quality of dance technique. We have been here since September and love absolutely everything about it. The staff and teachers are amazing and their shows are so creative and entertaining. My daughter has come so far in the little bit of time we have been there. My daughter will be a LDP dancer for life!

I have two daughters who love to dance and have been attending classes at Leighton Dance Project since its doors opened. The teachers and staff are fantastic, the instruction is top-​notch amazing, and the company concerts and annual review shows are outstanding!
The studio is run with integrity and enthusiasm and this translates into the students’ training. The dancers are not only technically proficient in many styles of dance, they are also passionate about what they do, which shows both on and off the stage!
We have experienced other dance studios in the area, and I can honestly say, there is a dedication and commitment to the dancers that is beyond comparison. If you are looking for a dance studio for your children to grow with, this is the one!

My daughter loves their preschool program! She takes a tap/​ballet combo class from Cat who is amazing! She is so loving, creative and supportive. This studio focuses on creating a love/​enjoyment of dance. I highly recommend anyone considering enrolling their preschooler into dance to try out Cat’s class! Everyone at this studio is super nice, which is hard to find these days!

This studio deserves 5 stars for sure! We moved our 12 year old dancer to
Leighton Dance Project when it opened because we knew the best teachers in the Sacramento area were teaching there (in my opinion)! Staff are friendly, professional and really know their stuff.
This is not just a place for accomplished dancers either… they have a wonderful preschool program and summer camps. I wish it was open for my daughter when she was young, it would have been our choice then too! They also have classes for recreational dancers who aren’t as serious! In the fall they will be expanding and offering tumbling (tumbling in summer classes too) in so there will be even more choices for classes. If you are looking for a fun, positive studio, try LDP!
