The stress they have caused my family supersedes any help, they are truly horrible to charge people almost 200 for a missed appointment, they are completely incompetent, the office manager never returns calls, please look elsewhere

And only because I have to select atleast one star. I have seen a few psychologists, and believe them to be a valuable resource for people battling depression and other traumatic events. That being said, I have nothing good to say about this practice. I quickly felt like I was just another source of revenue and not someone they actually cared about. At a time when I needed support and less stressors in my life I received multiple phone calls regarding an account balance that was supposed to have been paid by insurance. The lady I spoke to regarding this balance, Auburn, was nothing but rude and at one point terribly condescending. To this day I am still getting invoices from this practice for services my insurance company has promised me are covered, and moreso been paid.
These people just care about making money. They dont care about your mental health.

Star far far away! They have a ridiculous 72 hour cancellation policy! Unless you have a true emergency, they will charge you over $ 150 if you cancel after 72 hours. I cancelled due to not being able to afford my co-​pay and gas to get all the way to Folsom, and they are still charging me. I spoke with Mary who is the office manager and she was so rude. She had no sympathy for my situation and all she cared about was making sure I knew I broke the 72 hour cancellation policy and now I was going to be charged. She told me that if I do not pay my cancellation fee that they will have to «dicharge» me from their practice. This is such a sham because I love my Psychiatrist, Dr. Lanzano and my therapist Dr.Cox. Things come up in peoples lives and it is sometimes impossible to avoid not being able to make your appt. I will now be finding new care, as I do not want to constantly have to worry about me making every single appt and getting charged outrageous fees. I am already stuggling financially and the last thing I need is to have to pay a no-​show fee. I can’t believe they treat their patient’s like this! Take my word for it, take your business somewhere else!!!

The office staff and office policies here are the WORST. buyer beware. they require a 72 business hour cancellation policy. Who knows what they are doing with their lives 3 days in advance — and not just 3 days, 3 business days in advance. Now they are going to charge us for the missed appt and will probably book someone else into that appt. How often do you think they do this? probably a lot. guess they care more about their revenue stream than having business policies that are realistic. Oh and did i mention that they changed our appt the same day because the doctor had an appt but they can’t give us the same courtesy…

I truly feel that the people had Linder Psychiatric Group, particularly Renae Linder and Dr. David Linder, have saved the life of my family member. We had seen other professional in the past and they never truly got to the root of the problem, but through a thorough plan, they have found the problem and for the past two years my family member is living a life of joy. To be told «this is what it feels like to be normal» from someone you love, is thrilling, yet heartbreaking. I thank Linder Psychiatric Group for giving this family a new start!
