Anything is good. Literally never had anything bad. Nuggets with cheese are my FAVORITE! A little pricey, but it never stops me from coming.

I was totally blown away by their cheese fries, burgers and milk shake. A total treasure for the foodies who love American food.

Best food and milkshakes hands down! This is the perfect place to go for a delicious late night meal, or simply dessert. This place does have takeout if you’re on the go. Tried the chicken finger platter. This meal came with fries & a pick of your favorite sauce(got BBQ and honey mustard). These were the best chicken fingers I have ever had in my life. Nothing even comes close to competing with their chicken fingers. BBQ sauce is typical, but the honey mustard I really good! Got the Carmel Oreo milkshake, which actually wasn’t on the list(I don’t think), but our server did offer to make it for me. Thanks dude! I would eat here every night if I could.

Great fries! Free soda refills! Bacon-a-plenty on the single bacon cheeseburger. The Vanilla Coke is super flavored. I think they hand mix it.

I have been coming to this place since I was a little kid and it’s really never changed(except for the fact that they take credit cards now due to the tax evasion scandal). However the food here is outstanding and the atmosphere just takes you back in time. I have never had a better milkshake than I have at nifty fifties, the Reese cup is my all time favorite(has peanuts and choc chips just loaded at the bottom). They also give you the metal canister so every milkshake is like eating two. I recommend the cheese steak with wiz, cheese fries, cheese steak fries, the burgers, onions rings, yes order all this at once and wash it down with a milkshake. They also have great breakfast too.

I’ve been here plenty of times for shakes… they are great. However, today was my first time eating here and I must say I don’t think I was missing much… The place was not packed so I was able to chose my own seat right away. I waited at the table at least ten minutes before the server greeted me… so I had plenty of time to look at the menu. I decided to order the Chicken Cesar steak because it was the most unique thing on the menu and it sound appetizing lol. I must say I’m glad I was able to experience tasting the chicken Cesar steak but I was not that impressed. Next time I come I will make sure to only order a shake :)

Holy hell. This place was so good. The bacon ranch cheese fries were life changing. They weren’t all mushy and over cheesed like most loaded dries. I had a oreo cheesecake shake. There wasn’t any cheese cake but I am not one to complain about oreos. The mushroom burger was a bit disappointing. Canned mushrooms are EW. I’ll be back to drink more shakes and load up on more fries!

Whenever we’re in the macdade blvd area, we always try to stop at Nifty Fifty’s. This really is a gem in an area that doesn’t have much to write home about(sorry but true). It is a 50’s style diner which is always fun. Whenever I go here it’s pretty crowded, but there is plenty of seating(booths and counter). I’ve actually never been here for breakfast, so can’t comment on that. But, all of the food i’ve tried from here has always been great. Their burgers and cheese fries are the best! The milkshakes are delicious. I also really like the cheesesteaks, basically everything from here i’ve had is great. Definitely would be a good place to take kids, they give out paper hats for them to color on and there are also arcade games. Service is good and the prices are reasonable.

Underrated spot. 2 bacon Double cheeseburgers a vanilla shake, spinach chicken cheesesteak, and large fries along with 2 large drinks with free refills for $ 35. Everyone was satisfied and the service was great.

BOO! Food was gross service was crap. It was busy so no one had a clue what was going on. Went for the quicker takeout option. Real quick only took 40 minutes of standing in the greasy smoke filled corner of NIFTYFIFTYS as I kept getting bumped into. It was a real throwback to the days of chubby checker I almost started doing the twist. Food got put on the counter and the girl who took my order just continued to stare into space as opposed to you know doing her job and serving me my order. Wasted my money. The fries that they love to brag about were nothing but a ball of soggy mush mmhmmm mmm top choice hand cut. Milkshake was awesome, other than that AWFUL!

This is one you pass down the generations. My Dad took me and now I take my kids. It’s a burger joint with great milkshakes and good cheese fries. Burgers are good but not great. The place has been in Delco forever and hopefully will be for a long time to come.

Looking for affordable but timeless burgers and shakes? Nifty Fifty’s is the perfect recipe for your search. I’ve had some memorable times here as a teen, so coming back almost 10 years later gives me good feels. Although the wait can be long on a saturday night, they are quick and efficient to get their customers seated as soon as possible. Just do not turn down sitting down at the bar. You may be ignored for 10 minutes but they make up for it at the end. Our waiter was super friendly(he has tattoos & he wrote«Gators» on his cap, I think…) so that definitely appeased my hangry feeling. We ordered the chili cheese fries, which has real chili(beans and all) YUM. The mushroom swiss burger is also phenomenal, get it double with relish and you are happy happy happy. I also split the strawberry shortcake milkshake, with real pieces of strawberry shortcake. So delicious!

I love most of the stuff here. Chicken nuggets are white meat, cheese fries are cut fresh, and the milkshakes are nice and thick. My must have is always the milkshake here. You can’t come here and not order either a milkshake or one of their fancy sodas(not really fancy… it’s just soda with syrup, lol, but they have tons of flavors) Service here is pretty fast. I mostly sit at the counter since there tends to be a wait for a table. I know it’s first come, first serve, so I walk past the line and just plop my booty down on the chair and wala, I’m served! Only downfall is if you came with someone, you can’t sit across from them to have a conversation. I know some people don’t like that, but I don’t mind. Parking lot — horrible! Just be careful driving or parking. Spaces are tight and people park crooked.

Went with a friend and our 2 daughters each. Walked in at an off time(2:15pm) and they had us waiting for 10 mins before we were approached. We told him we were a party of 6 and he immediately said it was going to be ‘a crazy long wait’. Almost as if he was pushing us to leave… We stayed and he sat us in a booth for 4 with a chair on the end, it worked for us. We all ordered and the food came somewhat quickly. It was cooked fine and tastes okay. Our ketchup was empty and we had to take from a neighbor table. We told the server twice and he kept swapping it out with a basically empty ketchup bottle. It was almost humorous. It was just too loud, crowded and cramped. The food was okay, but the service was slow. Thankfully she was friendly! I don’t know if I’d go out of my way to eat there again. Although, they do have an impressive menu of shakes!

This is probably the worst Nifty Fifty’s I’ve been to. The parking lot is extremely small, there’s absolutely always a very long line out the door, and the waitresses are so overwhelmed that you can’t even get a drink of water or a refill without feeling like shit for bothering them. That being said, the food and the shakes are what you’d expect, so if you can pop in here when it’s not busy, consider yourself very lucky.

I’ve heard so much about Nifty Fifty. But my experience here was poor. While standing by the sign«wait to be seated» nobody came over to us. A waitress serving another table looked at us a few times. Made no effort to come over and greet or advise us of the wait time. After some more minutes pass, still nobody. Then the party standing behind us made their way to grab a seat at the counter and advise the waitress that was serving him, that we were waiting by the door with no service. She then had a waiter come and seat us. What a great way to make a customer feel unwanted. But I want to thank that customer guiding the employees there, how to do their job. The food itself was average. Nothing special about the burger, cheesesteak, nuggets and milkshake. Fries and onion ring lack flavor. Change the attitude and service and we’ll probably be back. But judging by their lack of customer skills, I think they could care less if we ever went back.

There are 2 in Delco that vie for my viote for breakfast hands down. Niftys edges out the other one with its comfort and service Seating is either comfortable booths or more than adequate counter seating. Breakfasts are very good and reasonably priced. Coffee is hot n tasty Favs for lunch or dinner. FIlet mignon Sandwich– aren’t enough superlatives. Leo Special burger. Has all the fixins. Been coming here since they opened about 20 years ago. Only thing preventing 5 stars is loud, patrons any time of the day who seem to leave their manners elsewhere. Screechy waitresses yell greetings from across restaurant to regular patrons. If you can live with that than you can’t beat this place for a good diner like meal
