First time using Unilocal to order and I’m glad I tried this place! There was a price change and I received a phone call right away. They were friendly and delivery was fast! The food was also excellent. 5 stars!

Stopped in for lunch with a colleague. We both ordered a Caesar salad and pasta e fagioli. Some warm bread was brought out and was quite good.
The salad was decent but came with premade dressing and croutons. The soup was a bit too watery for my tastes and needed additional seasoning as it was somewhat bland.
Service was nice and the restaurant was clean.

Food is good, but I have to give it 3 stars because of the waitress. The bread had a long hair baked in it. When the waitress was told her response was «it’s not my hair». So we asked if the bread was baked their and her response was «I don’t personally put it in the oven «. She was rude and weird. I’ll try it again, but won’t accept her as my waitress. Management needs to watch over their staff better. No one apologized about the hair. Gross.

Villa has been a ‘Gem of Food’s’ for over 25 years! They serve the best pizza around! Always fresh out of the oven, besides many types, including there famous «Grandma» pie which I think can’t be beat…4 soups a day all one better then the other… The best Rice Balls possible, always made fresh daily.
A family run business, there is always a family member on the premise! Next door is a well appointed dining room, where all your favorite Italian Food can be enjoyed… a good wine list and full bar… Specials are served at lunch and dinner in both rooms! Stop in and enjoy the best plain slice in Woodbridge!

After passing the restaurant almost every day on my way to work, I finally decided to give Villa Borghese a try. I was not disappointed. Bread was hot, salad was fresh, and chicken was delightful. I urge others to support local businesses and give Villa Borghese a try!

Villa is the most under-​rated pizza place around here! We always have pizza delivered to our home, which is the best around here — but one day we stopped in to eat, and WOW! They use really good quality ingredients. I had raviolis and they were some of the best I have had in a LONG time. and my boyfriend, who isn’t the biggest fan of chicken parm., devoured it. He loved it!

Love this place! My fiancé and I dined in on a Friday night (they have a separate take out area and dining area) and it wasn’t packed at all. Service was great but the food was even greater! I ordered the penne alla vodka and chicken cutlet — to die for! My fiancé ordered the shrimp scampi (so good!) and it was all definitely homemade. Both of our meals came with salad (loved the balsamic vinaigrette). He also got the chicken soup which was good. They gave us complimentary bread & butter and three medium pizza squares (the sauce was delicious). The only thing that was disappointing was the red sangria. It was bitter, too carbonated, and lacked sweetness. Next time we’ll pass on the alcohol. Regardless, I give it 5 stars for great service, delicious food, and cleanliness.

After booking my daughters bridal shower at another restaurant and running into several problems, i called Villa Borghese and booked the bridal shower there and I am so glad we did. The food was excellent as was the service. I would recommend this wonderful Italian Restaurant.

I live down the street and go to the villa often. The food is good but its always different. Sometimes the pizza is too tough sometimes its too soft. Always delicious however. They’re a little expensive. Also if you call after 9 even though they’re there they won’t answer your call. That’s wasting business if you ask me. Still — I like this place nothing too negative to say. Check it out.

So this place has some food that is amazing, but beware of stupid people. I cant lie, even non Italian specialty foods such as their Fish & Chips is amazing, so long as it is served properly. The lunch special is supposed to come with fish & chips and an arugula salad. The fish is fresh cooked and delicious if you eat it within 3 minutes but that is just the nature of the dish. However they cant seem to get the lunch special correct. First day I ordered it and they gave me fish and chips but forgot the tartar souce, the salad, and ketchup. Annoying since I have to drive 10 minutes to get there, I wasn’t going back for it so i made do. Second day I went back and ordered the same thing. I told them to make sure they gave me the arugula salad. They gave me the salad alright. In the same to-​go container as hot fish and chips? On top of that they gave me literally 7 french fries. So few that yes, i counted. Who trained these people to serve hot crunchy food with cold wet food? My fish and chips was destroyed and I will not be going there again for anything.

Villa Borghese is an Italian Restaurant on the main strip in fords, NJ. They serve classic italian dishes like manicotti, lasagna, pizza, chicken marsala, subs, stromboli, as well as appetizers like fried calimari, sauteed broccoli and mozza sticks. I visited on a sunday night and the place seemed empty other than us, the delivery driver & waitress.
