Not a bad comic book store. They don’t have as much variety as other stores, but every once in a while I find comics here that are sold out other places. I’d recommend this place more for people who want to play Magic, or buy figurines, or play Street Fighter.

Before finding other comic stores that could satiate my desires, I had this one. Not really much of a comic store which they would attest to – it really is collectibles and though you can spend a great deal ogling at them, lack of comics and the everlasting eternal card game means that kids own this place. It’s definitely the place if you should like to play but not so much if you’d prefer to stick to books or comics.

I know two stars is no better than one, but meh. They were honest enough not to put«comics» in the name, but it’s a classic comics store. Which is to say, only half comics(and those mainly superhero single issues), and half things in heat-sealed plastic hanging on the wall. I know many people like these things: I saw them happily playing board games in the back room. But it is not for me.

I’ve been coming here for years and it has never let me down. The action figures are dynamite as are the comic book selection. I used to love coming here with my mom because I knew that this place had action figures that no other store had. They were also a great place to get baseball cards and some pokemon cards as well(it was that part of my life where pokemon was really cool). Now, they have both classic and new comics as well as acton figures and a good supply of different types of cards. On my last outing, i bought two Star wars transformers fo my two brothers. Mace Windu and Emperor palpatine. Doesn’t get better than that. Parking is just the most annoying thing. It takes a few rounds before you can catch a spot. Stop by Nick’s for some pizza. It’s only a couple of blocks toward Ascan. You won’t regret it.

Sports collectables. The ‘sister’ store to the main store in Flushing, NY. This is also a good place to purchase sports collectables for those who are in the hobby. The prices might be about the same or a little higher than the Flushing, NY store(probably because of rent). If you can’t head to Flushing, your best bet is here in Forest Hills
