I love this place! So far I’ve purchased a nice vintage gold lamp and two vintage dinning chairs that I had reupholstered. They have a really nice selection of vintage lamps, bookcases/credenzas, chairs and sofas. They also have unique new candles, coasters, throw pillows and other accessories sprinkled in. The staff is always helpful and the prices are ridiculously low compared to some vintage shops that sell similar items in Chicago. All of the items I’ve purchased have brightened up my home and I look forward to buying more as I continue to remodel.

My husband and I pop in here about once a month just to see whats new. They have all sorts of unique items for the home and gifts. We especially were mesmerized by all of the neat pieces made with reclaimed materials. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. I love that a lot of their items(if not all) are made locally and have interesting stories behind them. Think Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn but unique, one of a kind items, for better prices!

Wow… just wow! If anyone says anything other than wow when walking into this store, I don’t know what’s wrong with them. Never before have I seen such an interesting display of locally made items that are all refurbished or recycled. From steel coasters from Chicago, to cutting boards made from reclaimed wood, to coffee tables made from reclaimed wood this place is fabulous and earth friendly. The most notable part of this store is how each selection is marked with the background on who made the item, where it came from, and what resources were recycled or refurbished. I bought a cool drinking glass that was made in Colorado by a small artist and got to read all about the background of the glasses and how they were made. I really enjoy the owners of this shop as well — nice people who know a lot about the items they are selling. This store was originally in Oak Park for about a year and now decided to move to the best place on earth(Forest Park, duh!). I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase and the 45 minutes I spent wandering around this store.

I just popped in while visiting friends, and oh my goodness, this store is dangerous! Too many cute and cozy things for my new home(which I just moved into, so I am looking for really unique accents). I ended up getting a gorgeous organic cotton throw for my new sofa and did some early Christmas shopping for my mom and brother. Organic and made in USA is a bonus! Anne and Doug were so welcoming and their little one is precious. I love supporting family-owned local businesses, especially when their stuff is so cute!

I always love spending my money at local shops that support local businesses – plus the owners are so nice! My husband and I have purchased china, vases, glasses and pitcher, cards, and candles there. All the refurbished furniture is beautiful, and we’ve been happy with all our items!

I love this place, and I try to stop in every time I’m in the area. They always have such cool stuff that you just don’t find elsewhere. Also, I think almost everything they sell(maybe everything?) is either recycled or refurbished, or made locally. Last time I was there I fell in love with a cutting board made from reclaimed wood made by a local guy. It’s pretty cool to say you’re supporting a small business that supports other small businesses. :)
