i was delighted. I came in after a very hot day in the heat, and the room was clean, the ac was on, and the room had the lights all gently lit. It was so welcoming! Wanted to use the pool which looked great but just too tired. hot shower! Comfy bed! Dinner at the adjacent affiliated Mexican Restaurant was great and they gave us a $ 10 off for breakfast the next morning. Traditional breakfast which was the best I have had all vacation and it only cost me $ 5! Will definitely stay here again. Keep up the great work!

We only stopped in Forrest City for one night– checked in late at night and checked out first thing in the morning so we could get back on the road. The room décor was dated but everything seemed really clean. We didn’t use the pool, fitness room, or the amenities, but we ate breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby. Everything was good and reasonably priced, especially with the $ 10 off voucher we got from the front desk upon check-in.

Used hot wire and got this hotel. It’s located in a place with a pretty high crime rate but 85 bucks is hard to beat. The front clerk was MIA the first 15 mins I was there and then she was more interested in talk to her friends than finishing my check in. The room has four walls and a bed and that’s about all it had to offer. Sink was broken, WiFi doesn’t work, chair was ripped up like Freddie Kruger sat in it, only basic cable despite everything said about it, and DOORMUSTBESHOVEDCLOSED. Really sub part I guess 85 bucks just gaurntees a room with a clean bed which is why it gets 2 stars but that’s honestly generous.

The motel was a typical Days Inn, nothing special. This specific location is in a very low income high crime area. It’s not a cheap motel, I still paid $ 82 for it. The sheets had dark hair all over. I got this place off Hotwire and they failed me… It was grouped with Hampton Inn and Comfort Suites. Not sure who thought days inn was playing in same ballpark as those two…

To get to the point: the motel had reasonably comfortable beds, they allow dogs, and the AC works. However, we saw two small roaches, the blankets had cigarette burns, and one of the bedsheets had a foot long tear in it. The bathroom smelled like mold and smoke, and one of the handymen peeked inside the windows when we were getting ready in the morning. I tried to put on blinders to the other problems as I was already all-in, but there’s probably more. Overall, pretty bad considering the $ 80 price tag. If you drive about 30 miles east of Memphis you can get a motel at least as good for about half the price.

This place fits it’s whole purpose! Right off the 40 freeway and pet friendly! The beds were nice, but the bathroom needed some updates. Pros –Close to freeway! –Pet friendly, plenty of places for my pet to potty! –Comfy beds –Close to Walmart, gas stations, and McDonalds(traveling musts) –Front desk attendants very nice! Cons –Bathrooms need update! No fans!!! –That mirror on the door is not pleasant when you are going to the bathroom and don’t close the door! –the buildings are pretty ghetto and need some updating –The hotel behind is doing renovations and the guy in the crane is annoying!

What kind of sick bastard places a full length mirror on the outside of a bathroom door in a hotel? Twice last night I almost had a heart attack as I rounded the corner going to the bathroom. I thought a strange, but oddly familiar and good looking man, was in my room. Yeah, other than that the room was clean, everything worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and almost quiet even though our room faced the highway. We would stay here again.

It’s a budget hotel, not a five star stay at the Hilton. The front counter service was very nice after a ten hour drive. She was pleasant and got me and my 15 month old son a ground floor room so I wouldn’t have to tote him upstairs. Breakfast is in a Mexican food restaurant and the selection is decent and fairly priced. The portions are big and the food was delicious. The waitress made my son a fruit dolphin to eat while he was waiting for his pancake. I would recommend based on the service.

To summarize my experience, I will not be staying at this hotel or this chain again. During a trip from New York, I needed a hotel that would accept a dog which limited my selection pretty dramatically. I read reviews online for the Days Inn Forrest City and thought it seemed reasonable so I booked it. I arrived early afternoon and the woman that was working the check-in counter was very pleasant and prompt in getting me my room key and wi-fi information. We drive around and find we are on the first floor. We walk into the room and notice that it isn’t an updated room and most of the items appeared older. No big deal right? My fiancée happened to notice above the door the two large spider webs with spiders that were living in the corner. No big deal still for the value. I check the bed — no bed bugs. I pull the sheets back, and I noticed two hockey puck sized spots that appeared to be grease or wet spots. Okay… so the next natural step is take a smell. It was in my unprofessional opinion some bodily fluid. Well… now its time to load the car back up! I proceeded to the front desk and the woman at the desk didn’t seem very shocked or surprised at all. She gave us another room. This room had the mini-fridge moved to cover a large milk stain that was all over the carpet that you could see sticking out the side. Lastly, the wi-fi is unusable — as in, it doesn’t even load webpages in anything less than a minute. Also, for a nonsmoking room, it had cigarette holes burned into the blankets. Bottom line — I will not be staying nor would I recommend staying in this hotel.
