Everything I put in my mouth at this place was delicious! Great service, friendly people. We went on a Sunday afternoon(they are only open for lunch) we indulged in the buffet. I literally had one bite of every single item and wasn’t disappointed once! They have pot roast, meatloaf, chicken, Salisbury steak, chicken fried steak, catfish, tilapia, pulled pork, an amazing salad bar, mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, Brunswick stew, stuffing/dressing, broccoli casserole, cabbage casserole, every veggie you can think of. Home made everything like desserts to die for. Éclair cake, banana pudding, cherry, blueberry and apple cobbler just to name a few. Everything. Fruits, veggies and meats are bought locally and made fresh daily! It’s nothing short of amazing.

Cool place. The lunch buffet was well prepared and a great selection. Country food at its best. We were made to feel very welcomed. I would recommend it.

This is in a cute little downtown across from a cool looking courthouse. The place itself seems a bit worn and rather creepy. They were out of BBQ and the steak. When the ordered a bacon cheeseburger they were also out of bacon. It seems like they really want you to get the buffet. The burger was rather greasy, and soaked the bun to the point, I had to just remove the bun and eat it without a bun. The onion rings would have been good, but they also were rather greasy. all in all, I was rather disappointed with this place. I wanted to like it, and the server seemed friendly, but the lack of food, and the grease was a detraction. One thing strange, is that they want to charge 1.95 for a coke … ok, but then they want to charge 1.95 for each refill as well. I am sorry, but I can go to the grocery store and buy an entire six pack for 2.00 and so I expect free refills when I go out to a restaurant.

Okay, I have to come back when they have my favorite sides on the buffet. My sister and I ate lunch here today. It was pretty good. I give them an A+ on their fried chicken. I kept biting holes in my sister’s whenever she wasn’t looking at me. It’s seasoned to the bone and very juicy. Even the breasts were moist, crispy, and flavorful. Kudos to the chefs. I ordered a barbecue sandwich with house cut fries. The fries were not as crispy as i like and a tad on the greasy side. Otherwise, they were good. I got a generous portion with my sandwich and I love their bbq sauce. I asked for seconds. My sister got the buffet. I didn’t get it because there was no macaroni and cheese nor mashed potatoes. The meats on the bar looked scrumptious. Even their steak and gravy with onions looked great but they had no white rice. They had flavored rice and I just can’t imagine eating any of what they had without plain white rice. Nor can I imagine a southern/comfort food buffet missing macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes. So I just ordered my entrée’ and a sweet tea. What I had was good. My sister said the food on the bar was good. She enjoyed it very much. Once again, just not what I wanted. When I inquired about the mac n’ cheese and the other classic starches you look forward to seeing on a southern style buffet I was told that they didn’t have them today. A good solid 3 stars for good food and very friendly customer service. I shall return on a day when they have what I would on the buffet and possibly bump up the ratings based on my second visit.

Good chicken and pork chops. Mac and cheese was very cheesy, but a little soggy. The salad bar looked old and tired, but the staff readily replaced the lettuce to less brown, but slightly white iceberg. I’m sure the salad is better when it isn’t the middle of winter. Welcoming and attentive staff. $ 10 per person, adults or children

Food was gross. Tried two different salad dressings, both tasted sour. The bbq pork was gross and the catfish was sour as well. This buffet was on the expensive side, $ 13+.
