Great breakfast spot. But get there before 9:30 in the morning on the weekends. Nice size plates and awesome pancakes. Love the menu items. One of my favorite breakfast spots in town.

Our very favorite breakfast place. I always order the basic or little billy. Both are amazing. It is hard because I love bisquits and gravy. But it is a little to much. The jam is so great homemade. The Ice Tea is great too. Ask for Jordan to wait on you. She is great. Yummy Yummy.

Is so rare to find such good quality like this! It was clear that everything was homemade– the coleslaw on my sandwich, the soup that came in the side, the chips my husband got. The food tasted wonderful, the portions were huge, and the waitress was really nice. Oh and the meals were $ 10. This place is such a gem!

Don’t know why you need to have all your party here to get a table. It’s only a quite ordinary brunch place…

The portions here are massive! I had no idea what to expect when I got here but wow, the portions are gigantic. I could have split an entrée with 3 people and still left full. The omelettes are tasty and I really liked the way they do their potatoes. They also have great French toast, pancakes, and breakfast burritos. This is a fun place to fill up and relax in the morning. Bring an appetite because there’s lots to eat and enjoy!

I went to Doug’s Day Diner the other day for breakfast. I ordered the Hillbilly with the gravy on the side so I could try the homemade jams with it. My server, Lance was very helpful, I told him I was a chef and wanted to try these jams with my biscuit. He scurried around to find all the varieties for me to try. He was super attentive and engaged me in pleasant conversation even though I made several annoying requests, he did not seem phased by it. The food and service was great and hope to visit again and have the same server!

We have only been to Doug’s twice. The service was awful the first time, today was the same. We decided that we would try and see if the first visit was an isolated incidence. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. We had the same waiter as our first visit(Lance) and experienced the same bad service. The service was horrible! We waited a significant amount of time to even get a couple of waters brought to the table. Lance was not attentive and he didn’t seem to really care about how our experience was. The so called«Apple butter» tasted bad. It tasted like spoiled applesauce. When we tried to get Lance’s attention to ask him if we could talk to a manager he seemed irritated with us and wouldn’t come back to the table. Definitely will not be wasting our time with coming back to eat here.

Highly recommend! My boyfriend and I love to come here and eat yummy fresh and local food! We’ve always had a great time and today our server Lance made our time even better. Keep it up!

The coffee is decent and the portions are ridiculous. Don’t think twice about ordering a half portion, even though they call it a «Whimpy.» The scratch kitchen is very accommodating. This is a regular breakfast stop for my wife and I about once a month. She has gluten sensitivity and a dairy allergy so we have to be pretty careful when we dine out. The staff at Doug’s has always taken care of her by using fresh cracked eggs and even cleaning the griddle before sautéing her hash browns(in oil instead of butter, natch…). When we bring the kids, they love the pancakes which are large enough to double as a river raft should the need arise. It can get crowded, but most good places do! We try to get in before 9:00 during the week and have never waited more than 5 minutes.

Another great breakfast at Doug’s Day Diner! My «tasty» omelette was delish — 2nd time ordering this menu item, both times it hit the spot! My husband polished off his«Sharon» omelette in no time flat to rave reviews. Our server was awesome(see pic). She kept the coffee mugs filled(crucial!) and checked back often to make sure our meal was good. My son ordered one of the breakfast burritos. They are HUGE! He was highly satisfied and made sure to save half so he could enjoy the rest later. We arrived at about 8:20 on a Sunday morning and didn’t have to wait.

Wow, is it just me or has Doug’s gone down hill. The service at the counter was tragic. I’m so disappointed because I always brag about this plae.

Took my mom there and we pretty much both died and went to Food Heaven! The Black Betty Burger literally made our mouths water. The fresh jam and peanut butter combo with the fresh beef was great. Their fresh ranch is the best I’ve ever had. We came during a busy lunch rush and found the service to still be excellent. They even offered a small sample of the green chile so we could taste before committing. I will definitely be back to enjoy a little more Sweet-Savory combo for some of their breakfast items.

Love it. I’ve only eaten breakfast there however each time I get something different. Awesome service and the food is clever and delicious. Oh, and the coffee is really good too. Doug knows green chili, I respect that.

You get what you pay for. The price of the food was reasonable. Staff was very friendly and the coffee was decent but that’s about it. My husband had the breakfast burrito and I had their french toast. The burrito was bland, green chile tasted cheap and the red chile sauce was straight up gross. The french toast was really dry with no flavor. Maybe it’s because are spoiled? There are great breakfast places here in Fort Collins. Unfortunately they are all in old town. I would highly suggest The Kitchen, Snooze and The Silver Grill. We would rather drive than pay money on food we aren’t satisfied with.

Awesome food. A lot of it too. Had the burger with guac, jalapeño, and queso. Fantastic. Perfectly cooked and fresh homemade potato chips on the side. Were here with 8 people and we all thought this place was tops. The staff was good. I won’t go into 8 different dishes but I will tell you the ingredients didn’t taste like they came off the back of a truck. And even if they do, for the price this place is a repeat business winner.

My server, Jordan, was very friendly, polite, and responsive. She took good care of me. Unfortunately, the place was kind of messy, with more than a few dirty tables and floor areas. My burger was literally served on a miniature loaf of bread. That might have been kind of cool, but the bun was dry and falling apart. The patty was also dry. The cheese was supposed to be cheddar but it was processed American. The guacamole was really bland. My «fries» were tiny bits of potatoes that were overdone and very greasy. Maybe this place is better for breakfast.

This place is fantastic! Stopped in for breakfast after a late night on our road trip across the country, this place far exceeded our expectations. Literally everything there is made from scratch, and you can tell the difference. Pancakes are a must there, with their homemade syrup of course! Tracy was our waitress — get excited if you get her she was amazing and made the experience that much better!

The diner was busy on Sunday morning. We had a group of seven and had to wait for around 20 minutes before we got seated. Service was great — fast, nice, all the orders came exactly how we ordered them, and the food was just delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere — the place looked clean, cozy, and had a good vibe. I will definitely come back when I am around!
