My last experience here may cause me to not ever return. In the past we have had great experiences and the basil fried rice has been one of my favs. However this week I phoned in a pickup order that started a bad experience. 2 side items were left off my order, and my rice was over cooked to the point of mushy sadly. I phoned the business to explain and was told to call back later for a manager. When I asked for an email to send a photo of what I got and my feedback I was told there is no email for the restaurant. Due to the inability to provide feedback, I’m forced to leave a negative review here. Hoping the company reviews the Unilocal feedback and makes adjustments.

Went here for dinner with a group of five and we were happy with our choice. We sat in the main dining area, although a man who may have been the manager or owner pressured us to go to the hibachi side. The entrees were all good, with the favorite at the table being One Night in Bangkok, which was soft shell crab with a fantastic dipping sauce. Lots of vegetarian options. I’d go back.

Don’t do it! I’ll save you your time and health… I called in an order the girl was new didn’t know anything about anything I get it I was new once but don’t leave her alone if she doesn’t know what she’s doing … I ordered a futo roll she said that’s not even on the menu weird I’m looking at it right now then I asked her about the Coupon they have in the Val Pak she firmly said no they don’t take it … I hung up talked to manager he said yes we do don’t know why she told you other wise so FYI they do take them(don’t do sushi thought stick with cooked if you must go here) … My husband went to pick up the food he brought it home I opened the container and immediately started to gag it smelled so fish like fishy to the point of being left out in the hot sun for hours I refused to eat it my husband who has no sense of smell took one bite and spit it out even the dog wouldn’t go near it so he drove back because we were not eatting that and the new girl in front was like looks ok to me lol hubby dared her to smell it or even take one bite and that’s when she called manager over and we got our money back health dept should be called on this place I understand Colorado isn’t know fish but serving rotten fish is not OK. I gave it 2 since the manager was so quick to take care of us maybe because it happens more than you think?

Delivery from this place is like lightning. I get quoted an hour and they show up in twenty minutes. Plus the delivery people are always friendly. I wouldn’t recommend the lemongrass chicken(was fine but bland), but I’ve tried much of their menu that isn’t sushi, and even as delivery it is always fresh and delicious. Plus it feeds me up to 3 – 4 meals worth which makes it a great bargain. I’m sure they’ve Americanized much of the menu, but it’s great anyhow. Personal recommendations: Broccoli Beef, Chicken Satay, Vietnamese Egg Rolls, Drunken Noodles, all the Curry dishes, and the Thai Fried Rice.

Came in on a Saturday night, moderately busy. We were seated right away. The waitress was a little hard to understand, but very kind and attentive. Our Alaska roll was very good. We both ordered various beef dishes, which were fairly good, particularly for the price($ 13), which came out in a timely manner. The ambiance is quite cool as well. All in all, 3.5 stars rounded up to 4.

Nice atmosphere but I was very disappointed in the hostess stand as well as the service. Learned that the head hostess would not allow my party to sit with just two people running late. Party didn’t order until after 20 – 30 minutes free sitting down. I will not be planning another dinner here

I’ve never been so disgusted with a restaurant in my life. We were eating at the hibachi when my kids noticed ANTSEVERYWHERE!!! Even on our feet and legs! So gross. We told the staff about the problem and a guy came over and sprayed bug killer all over the ground. There was a huge cloud of bug killer lofting over our food. I grabbed my kids and pulled them away from the fumes. No one apologized or offered a discount or anything. Will NEVER go back!

I feel sorry for the staff… I went there to enjoy a birthday celebration on 2 – 20 with my family. What I remember most was the black haired man in the maroon shirt belittling not one, not two but at least three different employees in front of everyone at different times and loud enough to disrupt my meal. This was the worst service I have ever encountered. We had reservations at 7:45 on New Years Eve and when we showed up they said they needed 35 minutes. That’s disappointing to begin with. After 35 minutes the owner comes out and says he’s «so sorry» but the table keeps ordering drinks and he can’t kick them out(horrendous restaurant management skills). After waiting 30 additional minutes, we decided to leave because he couldn’t take control of the situation and get us our reserved table. This place is a joke and will definitely go out of business if they continue to act like this.

East Moon has a mixture of a lot of Asian cuisine which is a bit confusing. They offer things like Japanese cuisine like sushi/hibachi, Vietnamese eggrolls and Chinese appetizers too. It’s an interesting concept. What they seem to do better is the sushi. I came for a birthday party that had 20+ people and they were able to seat/accommodate us. The service is super engaged and very friendly. The food though(we ordered sushi for everyone to try buffet style) was just OK. The other odd Asian appetizers were decent but not very good. It’s awesome that there is a place that can seat large parties, has a fun environment, and super friendly service. The food, though, is not memorable unfortunately.

We have had good experiences in the past but this time was not great. We sat on the hibachi side. It took forever to get our drinks and dinner ordered. Our salads were suppose to come out right away and they told us they ran out of salad so it came out with our meal. It was probably 45 min before our chef came out to start our meals which seemed too long. The portions were very small for what you pay for and the food and service left me less than impressed.

I would definitely recommend this place. We had reservations and showed up on time which always helps. We were seated within minutes of arriving and the staff immediately took drink orders. Our party of ten was a mix bag of age groups and I thought the staff did a wonderful job handling everyones personalities and needs. The hibachi chef was entertaining and had everyone around the grill laughing. I loved the fried rice and the steak. The portions are huge and everyone at the table was either stuffed and/or took home extras. I think this place is great for groups and also good for couples. They have a nice bar to sit at and smaller party tables on the opposite side of the restaurant from the hibachi grills which is nice if you want a quieter experience.

WOWTHISPLACEISSLOW!!! Went here for Mother’s Day and had hibachi reservations for four people at 6:00PM. Hostess said the hibachi tables were running about 10 minutes late so they’d seat us as soon as possible. About 25 minutes later we had our seat. Another 20 minutes later we placed our order. Another 20 minutes later we got salads. The hibachi chef was a hot mess. Disorganized, slow, triple checking orders… As a result, all the food was overcooked — yep, all of it. Further, the waitstaff was really inattentive. Several requests for refills went unaddressed, and the sushi order sat at the sushi bar long enough to get close to room temp. I’m not really sure how you can have such a disorganized restaurant and stay in business for long. I seldom write negative reviews but I just don’t have good stuff I can say about East Moon. There are plenty of other good to great restaurants in Fort Collins, so there will be no need to come back here. Sorry, East Moon, you’re just kind of terrible.

The sushi is good but our service today from the manager Jason was terrible. never saw him again after he brought our drinks! Had to ask 3 different ppl for plates, to remove our dirty dishes and the check. Our drinks never got refilled either. Why is the manager doing waiter duties when it’s not that busy?! We’re normally 20% tippers but not today. it went to the sushi chef who was very nice! Time to look into who helps run your restaurant.

WHYISTHISPLACENOTPACKEDALLTHETIME?! The sushi is so good! The hibachi tables look so fun! The atmosphere is so open and fun! This is definitely another one of those restaurants that I would love to rent out for a party. A great bar in the center of the restaurant. The owner/manager always walking around checking on tables. I truly had a great experience there. Next time though… Hibachi! mmm

I’d been traveling for 2 days tand wanted a nice quiet dinner. Instead I got the manager/owner or someone Asian, screaming and hollering, using the F bomb and following employees around in doing so. The place was somewhat empty, but I got there at 7 pm on a Sunday night. It was so humiliating for the employees and I wanted to jump up and tell him to STOP… Needless to say the Sushi was delicious.
