Adept Studios

My daughter wanted her senior pictures with the beach as the background as she REALLY loves the beach. We live in Indiana but we go to Florida over Christmas holidays. After doing some search on the Internet and seeing some samples, we picked Adept Studios.
Kim was great and helped with scheduling the photo shoot. She suggested selecting an earlier date in case we needed to re-​schedule due to weather. Also the package was ready for pickup before we left but they would also ship it to you if needed.
The day of the photo shoot, it was a bit windy and slightly cloudy at 6:45 am. Adept Studios picked a location that had different natural props that could be used on the beach. My daughter had a great time during the photo shoot as Brian made her feel very comfortable. Even though the weather was not totally 100% ideal, Brian did an awesome job with positioning which really shows experience. The pictures were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. My daughter felt like a model and had lots of fun. Coming from Indiana, her senior pictures will be different from her friends since we had a beach background. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would probably use them for my other kids.

Wow! Loved the entire experience. From booking when I was told exactly what I needed, the process and the reassurance not to be nervous. Brian is a phenomenal artist and photographer. My in studio time was so terrific I ended up adding an additional two hours to my session.
I was shown shots as he took them so I could see how the lighting and backdrops changed the pictures. I received all my photos within one week and also ordered additional photos and a book

Adept Studios and in particular, Brian, took our wedding photos. I would definitely NOT recommend them for your special day. Brian literally had no personality and acted like he’d rather be somewhere else. I think a photographer should be helping people to feel at ease so the photos he/​she captures are the best possible. The actual photos were not done creatively at all – it’s as if he had no ideas about how to shoot creative and cherishing photos. The shots we received were mediocre at best. We were very disappointed. Finally, they took forever – months to get our disc to us so we could see our pictures. Find a photographer who will treat your special day with the respect it deserves and do it justice with outstanding photos!
