If you’re like me and have a certain unquenchable thirst for art, especially works of local artists, ArtServe, Inc. is must see. Located within the Sunrise Boulevard branch library it epitomizes the best of what are local cultural art developments. Though small and not taking all that much time to view, it has an excellent setup of displays with lighting perfect for viewing its works. The displays vary and it also has a small store offering items of art for sale with the thought of encouraging and assisting artists in turning their art talents into a profitable business. I might also add that the staff or volunteers who work here are some of the most pleasant and helpful people to be found anywhere. Though on first blush one might not think it to be all that much of a place it really is by comparison to the many other such local art cultural or local NEA supported centers I’ve seen. Hence, using such as my basis of comparison I’m going Five Stars on it.

This is an amazing concept! Calling all artists! This organization is made for you! They help you grow your business & learn from other more successful artists in the industry. There are low-cost space options where artists, non-profits and the public can hold classes, workshops, performances, meetings, events, and conduct business. I encourage you to join their mailing list, they have tons of cool classes, art exhibits & fun events! Exhibits change constantly so there is always something to see & explore!
