Better Body Spa

I had an amazing experience at Better body. Both Evelyn and Anna were very professional and gave me outstanding service. Evelyn, the owner is a licensed esthetician/​massage therapist. She was very warm and welcoming and gave me a phenomenal massage. Anna, also gave me such a relaxing facial and had a great touch. I cannot wait to return for another me/​spa day!

I just had an amazing experience with Evelyn at Better Body Spa! It was 5 star from
the phone call to schedule my appointment all the way through to check out. Evelyn has such a calming spirit and such strong knowledgeable hands. I am someone who works out hard all week and sits at a desk all day, so I need a true therapeutic massage… no fluff. Evelyn is very receptive and able to find all my little kinks and crackles. The facility is so beautiful also. It’s not your run of the mill storefront massage facility, it is a true spa. Thank you so much for my much needed healing session! I am happy to refer you to everyone I know!

As a long time athlete and weightlifter, I’ve always had a difficult time finding a therapist who can give a good deep tissue massage. More often than not, I get a deep tissue massage that feels more like a Swedish massage. Just not deep enough.
Occasionally, I’ve gotten a massage that was deep, but not soothing, that just didn’t hit the spot.
After sampling a few massage therapists in the area, so far I’ve found Evelyn to be the best at deep tissue. My massage with her was penetrating and therapeutic, but also relaxing. I didn’t walk out feeling like I’d just survived a train wreck.
The only thing I didn’t like was at checkout. There was a little too much pressure to book another appointment. I had to say no three times. My schedule can change by the hour. I need to book when I know I’ll be available without having to worry about having to call to change an appointment. Or worse, being billed for canceling too late.
I probably would have knocked off a half star for the sales pressure if I could have, but didn’t want to take a whole star because the massage was fantastic. But checkout is part of the overall experience and should be just as comfortable for the client as the massage itself.

WOW! I just got the best massage from Wendy. She is very knowledgable and used some kind of menthol lotion and made my back tingle! I don’t get massages to often but now I am going back there regularly. I highly recommend this place and Wendy is great!

Evelyn is excellent! I came in with a lot of knots in my shoulders and neck and she knew how to locate all of them! She even found knots I didn’t even know I had! She can locate all of your pressure points and knots and relieve them like a pro! Highly recommend Evelyn!

Tried this place out on groupon — Very cute place and clean– Asked for Evelyn and she is stronger than she looks– nice and cool inside as well overall I was happy with the service and when I am on that side of town I will be back!

Thank God I didn’t read some of these other reviews before I went to Better Body Spa today! I honestly had the best massage… EVER! Evelyn was amazing! She is very attentive and makes sure the entire experience is to your liking. She found and worked out knots on my back that I wasn’t even aware of! I am extremely impressed! I also had a facial with Ana. She was wonderful as well. When I get facials it’s more to hydrate my face and to relax — Ana helped me do just that!
I already booked the same service in a couple of months (they gave me a deal based on the Groupon I purchased)!

This is one place that made me skeptical on my next Groupon and people’s reviews. I had such an awful experience I just wanted to warn others… The masseuse I had was Maria who was also a bit burley so i was apprehensive at first and should have been. We talked throughout the massage which I absolutely hate because it is not relaxing but the conversation consisted of me constantly telling her too much pressure and to move from the same spot she kept hurting me. It didn’t stop until i halfway lifted myself and in a stern voice said switch to my legs. Long story short she oiled me down so much and just rubbed the oil in it was not a massage whatsoever. When i asked about the reflexology she said they did not teach them that in class. I was a bit upset because i felt as if this place was a bunch of students experimenting on you for real money. What a scam! No wonder she couldn’t give a decent massage and had the nerve to stand there and push a 2 week appointment and wait for the tip. The credit card machine if you may did not trustworthy so i gave cash i had which was close to their 20% — $ 15 and ran away. Wanted to tell person waiting to run!!! On the plus side The inside is better than the outside.

Went for a deep tissue massage. All I can say is AMAZING!!! Evelyn is the best! Highly recommended.

Nice, tranquil spa in easy to access location and lots of free parking. I had a deep tissue massage with Evelyn. She did an excellent job and I left feeling relaxed. Very happy with the service and I’ve already booked my next massage.

A massage is just what I needed to end my last day in Florida. We found this place thru groupon since we were tired out from the week we had celebrating my birthday. We decided we needed a very much deserved massage. So we found this place!
We were actually 20 mins late to our appointment. We had to call to tell her we were lost but from what the gps says … we’re 7 mins away. She didn’t seem to happy with it cuz i think they closed at 6p and our appointment was at 5p with an hr massage scheduled, BUT she didnt give us an attitude. She said its fine that they will still take us.
As we got there, they were very friendly. They asked us to sit and fill out some paperwork. There were only 2 chairs and 3 of us. The receptionist, who also was a masseuse, brought out another chair for my friend. Then they took us to our rooms and gave our massages. The masseuse i had was Elaine. She did a wonderful job. Im a very tensed person and all my stress goes to the back of my neck. She worked it and my whole body feels good. They had minimal conversation, the music was low and soothing, and the chairs we laid on were so comfortable. I do suggest for those with long hair to tie it up. My hair got caught to the seat twice. Walked away with just alil less hair lol but not their fault. If we do go back to Florida and we’re nearby again … ill definitely go back to this spot. I feel so refreshed! Im so happy with the wonderful job!

Evelyn did a fantastic deep tissue massage on my shoulders and back: I feel like 30 lbs have lifted from me! Can’t wait for my next appointment!

This was my first time getting a massage ever. And it was amazing. Evelyn was so helpful in making sure my 2 friends and I could have appointments at the same time. Wendy, my masseuse was so nice and was so amazing, I was totally relaxed. We came here as part of my birthday weekend and the girls gave me, cupcakes and a card after my massage. Would definitely, and will, recommend this place to my friends.

The best Deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! Evelyn was awesome! She said deep tissue was her specialty and I felt it! Only open a few months, I tried it through a Groupon. .which was a great deal. $ 36 for a 55 minute deep tissue. It was also my birthday… not only did they have mini cupcakes but also a birthday card… WOW For hospitality!!! Will definitely be back! Give a try… we found our new local spa to be a wonderful find! Thanks Evelyn!!! Cute place with a very peaceful ambiance.
