Wow. Just wow. I thought I went to a very friendly and spiritual church back home, but these folks are INCREDIBLY welcoming and faithful.
I was in town for a business trip, and this is my business partner’s home church. Judging by the graciousness we received, it was evidently the case. Now, I’m not of the Haitian community, but this is not at all an issue for this church. I received welcomes from the congregation that I don’t even get at home! These folks wrung out of their way at the end of service to come say hi.
The service isn’t limited toa simple sermon. Apparently, they have weekly, monthly, and quarterly study groups. The review doesn’t pull any punches either! You can tell who did and didn’t do the lesson, and the leaders hold you accountable. That’s what good churches need, people.
Worship service includes skilled musicians, projected lyrics, and bilingual service in English and Creole.
