The view of the beach was nice, even though you have to work to tune out the traffic noise. The food was amazing! The problem was our service. We were waited on by the new guy and veteran server team of Kevin and Mitch. They ignored us except for fleeting moments. The veteran server tuned us out and walked away while we were attempting to ask questions. The«veteran server» blamed the«new guy,» when he finally appeared and we asked again what we had already ordered. I blamed the veteran. We waited on service, refills, bread, and the check. We could have given it great review if not for the service. So the food is worth it, if you are willing to wait. Or take a chance. Thank goodness someone else delivered the food.

The drinks are generous, the staff is very friendly, and the food is very, very good. The chili dusted scallops with julienned vegetables over mashed potatoes is a must have. The penne pasta with chicken, sausage, and spicy peppers in Parmesan cream sauce is wonderful as well. The crème brûlée was about as good as I’ve ever had, and the key lime pie is heavenly. Watching other entrees pass by was a treat as well. I think I’ll have to plan another trip to Fort Lauderdale just to eat here again!

This was my worst meal here, had to ask the waitress four time for my wine, then when we finally got our appetizers, our entrees came out at the same time, waitress took them back and then delivered the same dishes after we had finished our appetizers, will think twice be for I would go back

Yum yum yum yum yum. Let’s see… we got the Baked Brie and Calamari as appetizers — the Brie was my favorite. Our waiter(who was also wonderful) brought us some complimentary bread with pesto(maybe?). Also delicious. Then, per some popular Unilocal reviews, I got the Almond Chicken — it so lived up the the hype!

Great atmosphere, the house/castle/restaurant was the first house built in fort Lauderdale on the beach. Crowded and we had to wait but the bartender’s work hard and get drinks to you. Our waitress was great, friendly and good at her job. Not to name names but her name is from the little mermaid :) Food was great, we had the chicken/sausage penne and the beef kebabs, very good and we were very happy. Piano bar started up around 830 and we wish we hadn’t eaten so fast so we could enjoy more of the atmosphere.

We had an excellent dinner experience here. We started off with the beet salad that came with a healthy portion of goat cheese encrusted with pistachios, and for our entrée we had Grouper with Tiger Shrimp, on a bed of polenta and greens with a basil cream sauce. The wait staff was great, the food came out quick, and best of all it was clean! Very nice place, and a good overall atmosphere!

We had a great Friday night dinner at this cool eatery on A1A on Ft Lauderdale Beach. The service, food & ambiance are all great. We’ve eaten inside both times here which I believe is better than the small, crowded tables under the awning. Appetizers, main dishes and desserts are all tasty. The fish dishes in particular are great. The only negative is the prices are high(not for beachside quality but for area in general). I recommend this place highly.

Great energy. They do not take reservations so we decided to get there around 7 and wait at the bar. About 10 minutes with a nice cocktail at hand we were told our table was ready. We were sat upstairs on the balcony, a very good table overlooking the water. Our server, I think Mike, was very good. He answered all of our questions and was fairly attentive. For food started sharing the mussels which were very good. I had the tuna appetizer and my wife had a green salad for dinner I had the Mahi Mahi and she had the scallops. Food was good not great. Tuna and scallop were pretty spicy. Very good wine by the glass selection with very fair pricing. Overall, I’d defiantly recommend.

First glance, it would be a hard nope. But then, you remember you are in South Florida and stuff just looks like that. Visiting the city and on a double date with friends that lived near by. They suggested this place and high recommended. A cooler night, but that didn’t stop the crowd on a Thursday. 25 minute wait, we enjoyed at the bar. At least half of the restaurant, house, or mini-castle(all fair descriptions) was outside dining. If there was room to put a table, they added one there… and apparently they needed it. Once we were taken through the tables, squeezed just past the piano bar singer, up winding stairs to the second floor more excitement and a full house there too. Our waiter was busy but attentive. Calamari appetizer was tasty and fresh. The pickled spiced relish on the side was refreshing. Basil olive oil and bread was good as well. Hubby ordered the filet and I ordered the crab encrusted Mahi Mahi. It came atop mashed potatoes, julienne veggies and a lobster cream sauce. Let’s just say my Hubby liked his steak but could not stop eating from my plate too. I’m still thinking about that plate. We left full and happy. Just a tip, when you come here… don’t be in a rush or have to be somewhere else. You will enjoy your dining a lot better. When in town, I will be back.

By far the best meal we had during our stay in Fort Lauderdale. Walking past it, you’re like«eh, that place doesn’t look so great». Don’t be fooled — the menu has a little of something for everyone, large portions and their food is excellent. Excellent. I was definitely please with my meal, and so was my husband. There was a table of loud jerkoffs sitting behind us that almost over took the entire room, but its not the restaurants fault. The food was really good, not expensive at all, and the service was excellent. If we’re ever back in the area we will definitely come back

Our 1st time dinning here, tried before but the wait time was to long to get in. So the question is how was it. Our server was Daniel; he was polite and attentive, filled our glasses 5 times in one hour. We both had the French Onion Soup. It came out fast and had good flavor but The Willard in DC still has the Best French Onion Soup. Next came our entrées Crab encrusted Mahi Mahi with whipped potatoes julienne vegetables and lobster sauce. Mahi was fabulous all sides have great flavor, not so much on the blue crab encrusted top, too much filling maybe 50 percent. Needs less filling and less volume more real crab. Would come back great spot on the beach.

Another successful visit! My husband and I came for Our Valentine’s Day dinner as we had been looking for another excuse to come back. The food was delicious as always, and the service was still impeccable. Casablanca Café is a great choice for that special night out.

pretty bartender aside. this place is a drunk fat mans hook up dream place with overweight women coming to town looking for a sugar daddy. Not my type of place. Drink was 2 for 1 happy hour, drinks were ok but down the street the house margarita were better. Dishes pile up without being bussed right away, to busy for two bartenders to keep track of happy house crowd. Crowded, mix of meat market and locals and transient travelers. The staff, the man leaning against the railing while trying to walk up the 2 or three steps at the entrance needs to move so people can use the handrail. Don’t need to see his ass cheeks wrapped around the railing!

To you Casa Blanca, my one and only Platinum Five Stars standing ovation Bravo!!! There is not one thing in the menu that is a downer. There is not one thing that is lack of setting and comfort. There is not one thing saying, say what? PLATINUMBRAVO!!!

Great location and a good time! Wandered in late and sat at bar with friends… piano player was amazing… enjoyed some late night salsa dancing & drinks. I nibbled on a crab cake and it was delicious! Every time I drive by it’s a delicious reminder that I must go back!

OK, so this is coming from the point of view of an Event Planner and Maid of Honor who just took part in the celebration of her best friend’s wedding reception here at Casablanca(they did the ceremony on the beach across the street). First Braden the manager and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate the party throughout the entirety of the event. From several meetings before hand to putting together his A Team of servers on the day of. We somehow snuggly and cozily fit 68 people in the Second Floor private room. Not once did the servers look frustrated as they had to manuvere between the excited guests and tight chairs and rows. They made everyone feel attended to and appreciated. And nothing beats that. Secondly the food was delicious. From the wedding menu chosen by the bride and groom, I had the calamari for appetizer and the Chicken Piccata for entrée. Both delicious. The drinks were also awesome from fruity Sangria to Piña Coladas all perfect for a Miami Fall day. The available parking lot is awesome, for regular eating in and for the event, less than a block away. I really enjoyed my experience and highly recommend Casablanca for an intimate wedding venue or just lunch, or dinner on the beach. Special shout out to Kevin the sweetest server I was lucky enough to be attended by on the day of the event.

I have heard so many good things about Casablanca, so decided to try it out for dinner Tuesday night. When we got there the hostess was very welcoming and asked if we would like to sit inside or outside and the amount of time it would be for a table. We decided to sit inside since it was extremely windy outside. The wait was about 20 minutes, so we headed to the bar and had a gin and tonic and a beefeater martini while we wait. The atmosphere is very chill and intimate. They also have live piano entertainment most nights downstairs by the bar area. To my surprise the noise level is extremely loud both downstairs and upstairs. Let me get to the food which is the best part! We started off by getting the crispy calamari for appetizer which were lightly battered with jalapenos and a side of tomato sauce. The combination of the two work so great together. I couldn’t stop eating the calamari! Its a must try! For dinner I got the Seared Rare Yellow Fin Tuna which came with crispy potatoes, roasted tomatoes, olives, green beans and salsa verde. The combination of everything together was out of this world. The tuna itself wasn’t fishy at all. It was a good size piece as well. I will definitely come back to get that again. My husband got the Peppercorn Dusted Filet Mignon which comes with grilled asparagus, whipped potatoes, roasted tomatoes and a gorgonzola fondue. He got his filet medium rare and it came out perfect. There whipped potatoes are so delicious. I just kept seeking them in my mouth every chance I got, they were that good. Very buttery and salted perfectly! The gorgonzola fondue on top of the steak was delicious. It tasted a little bit like they put a hint of horseradish for a kick. Fantastic dish overall. We were so full after dinner we didn’t even try any of the desserts, but they sounded really good. Instead I got a Irish coffee with whipped cream and my husband had a cappuccino. The Irish cream was good but it was just a bit too strong of an alcohol taste. The cappuccino was very good. No complains there. Next time I will go for the lava cake that our waitress recommended. Will be returning soon! Loved it!

All I can say is WOW! This place hit the spot for me and my work team! I just had such a great experience at Casablanca. The food and the service where both great. I will say we ordered wayyyyy to much food. But everything was worth it! The first thing is the bread. THEBREAD. That bread is so damn tasty and fluffy. There is this yummy pesto that you can tip it in too. The French onion soup had a lot of flavor and the cheese on top was just right. My main dish was a special for the night. A spicy sausage penne dish. So delicious! Chris was our server and I must say he was wonderful! There where 7 of us and all of us had questions and requests that he conquering flawlessly. He has a great sense of humor and made dinner really fun. The food came out quick, hot, and flavorful. At one point I had 3 full glasses of water in front of me. he was so good. I can’t wait for the next time I’m in Ft Lauderdale so I can come here and try more amazing things!

As they say«Location, Location, Location; nice beach views and entertaining people watching. Unfortunately the food didn’t match the location or the 4 Star average. Maybe it was lunch? Gazpacho was good with a nice spicy bite but under seasoned. Ceviche was good again but not great. PEI mussels were small and dry(previously frozen?). Fish tacos were under seasoned, the fish had grill marks but very little flavor. Very very very loud music(80s pop and rock… was that Crazy Train?!) mixed with very loud guest noise made it almost impossible to hear any of our conversation. You need to choose between hot outdoor seating or agonizingly loud inside seating. Kudos to our server; he was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Honestly he pulled this review up to 3 stars. OK but not as good as expected, $$$/Experience were not balanced. Cheers!

Dommage…
