Dry Clean Xpress

I’ve been going there a few years b/​c of convenience and finally gave up. They ruined a pair pants of mine in the beginning but gave me adequate reimbursement. The staff was always really nice, but then they lost a dress & never figured out what to do about it, then changed management … still missing the dress AND paid for the dry cleaning. Second straw was that they ruined another shirt & folded it so I would not notice. Last straw was when I was in a huge rush, was swinging by to drop of clothes at 8am, but at 10 after, still closed. Done.

Do I have to give any stars?
I’ve never taken the time to write a bad review before, but this place is terrible.
They misquoted the completion date despite having been given an extra day to find everything.
They lost a few items.
They damaged a $ 275 dollar shirt annndddd the owner displays a picture of herself with a phone number to call, but offers absolutely nothing when you ring her.
I didn’t want any reimbursement, just the items returned intact.
I usually do a few hundred dollars worth of dry cleaning per month, mostly for work. This company will lose me now and for all of the future large yacht accounts I would have set up.
The lady at the counter was kind and I don’t think she had anything to do with all of the logistical problems I encountered.
I wish I could take back my clothes and the hour I just wasted, but not the review. I just wish I could hang it up next to the other crap on the walls there.

The antithesis of customer service. The attitude is obvious, favors are non-​existent. Today I arrived as they were closing, no interest in my business, sent me away with a wave.

terrible business! They lost a pair of my suit pants to witch they admitted. Wanted to give me $ 50 even though it was a $ 750 suite. Renata has avoided me for 3 months and still won’t give me any money! Stay away from this cleaner!

I will not use them again. Took two pairs of pants that needed to be rushed, lady at the counter said it was possible and the exact time to come in the next day, and added a rush fee. Came in on the way to the airport because I needed these pants for a trip and they weren’t there. Had to buy new pants while out of town. Came back the following Monday to pick up pants and they would not even discount my order when they weren’t ready when promised and STILL charged me the rush fee. Granted I shouldn’t have waited until the last minute to have them cleaned; however, I wouldn’t have left them had they not been promised to be ready.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. This was my first time using this dry cleaner. I walked in to pick up my dry cleaning and there were two women behind the counter. One was sitting behind the counter staring at the tv on the wall and refused to acknowledge that I entered the room, even after I said hello and attempted to make eye contact. The other woman saw me walk in and heard me say hello, but turned and walked to the other side of the room to do who knows what (there were no other customers in the store). After a minute, she came over and just looked at me. I told her I was there to pick up my clothes and handed her the receipts. Without ever saying a greeting or acknowledgement, she took the receipts and walked away. While she was retrieving my clothes, two other patrons walked in, stopped in front of the woman still sitting at the counter and waited for her to assist them. After sighing, looking the other way and ignoring them, the two patrons walked over to the other counter to look for someone else to help them. Finally the woman came back with my clothes. She hung them up on the rod and turned and walked away. She didn’t say a single word to me to indicate that everything was there, or thank me for the business, or have a nice day, or you’re all set, or anything to make me think she was appreciative of me choosing to spend my money at this establishment. As I turned to walk out and another patron came in and stared at the woman sitting at the counter, I heard her grumble «I guess these people want me to quit my break early». Sorry, but if you are sitting behind the counter in front of the entry door, people are going to assume you work there. Ignoring them and being rude aren’t going to make people assume that you are simply on a break. Go outside, go in the back, or at least greet the customer and say «someone will be right with you» if you are unwilling to assist them. I will not be returning here. Apparently these women aren’t aware that there are dry cleaners on every block and we have a choice as to where we have our clothes cleaned. I choose to go where the employees respect the customers, whether they are on break or not.

Try them. The best around.

ONE PRICE DRY CLEANING is the best dry cleaner in Ft. Lauderdale! I have tried several places in the area (including the awful and overpriced Dry Clean Xpress), but this one really stands out. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and when they say most items are 3.99, they truly mean it. They often have special deals, and they are always professional and responsive.
I recently brought in my wedding dress, and they did an impeccable job on it. I had gotten a fake tan before my wedding, and the inside of my dress was covered in a yellowish brown dye. Well, they got every last bit out. And the rock-​bottom price blew me away.
I highly recommend One Price Dry Cleaners!
