I was craving ice cream one afternoon and came across this place that looked really good. The ice cream was very good. It was creamy and very flavorful. I had the cake batter ice cream and it was definitely towards the top of my list for best cake batter ice cream. I was asked if I wanted one scoop of ice cream or two scoops. I kindly asked for 2 scoops. Little did I know it was $ 4 per scoop and rang up for $ 8. Call me crazy but it seemed very excessive for 2 scoops of ice cream. How many pints can you buy at the store for that much? The ice cream was very good, but not $ 8 good.

we were on las olas blvd, suffering from the humidity and heat, when we ran into a young man sitting on a bench in front of this store. he worked there and recommended the coconut ice cream to thomas n. and salted caramel ice cream to me. uhhhhh, kind of an x-files moment here, as i love caramel and thomas n. loves coconut. i was a little creeped out, but nothing gets in the way of my ice cream, so we went inside. they immediately offered us samples of fudge when we walked in, but i was more interested in the ice cream. we tried a few samples, and guess what we ended up loving? thomas n. got the coconut and i got the salted caramel. *cue x-files music here* great customer service and yummy ice cream here — well worth a stop! we sat outside to enjoy our ice cream and a worker came outside to offer all of us(there was another group of 8 on benches too) caramel apple slices. what a nice touch and it was really quite delicious!

We spent a day in Ft Lauderdale before our cruise and were walking up and down the main shopping strip here. It was HOT&HUMID. We saw this African American guy(employee) chillin outside and I don’t remember how we started talking but he convinced us to come in inside and try a free sample of their ice cream. How did he do this? He said he could guess what flavors we liked. He told me to try the toasted coconut ice cream. I just happen to love everything coconut. He then told my GF to try the salt caramel ice cream. She just happens to love everything caramel. I dunno how he did it? Maybe, he has some Jamaican ancestors who practice Voodoo and summoned their powers from beyond? When we got inside, the place was clean and well-maintained. It also smelled great! The old, bald European American guy behind the counter was super cool but I think he was trying to kill us with diabetes because he kept wanting us to try all kinds of sweet, delicious treats. The African American guy outside was right, the toasted coconut ice was incredible. It did not taste artificial or overly sweetened. The salted caramel was good too but not as good as the toasted coconut. Prices are what you’d expect in a touristy location. Not, cheap but not too expensive. Service is genuine, small-town«Andy Warhol”-like friendliness. That’s actually very damn ironic considering how close this place is to Miami.

Kilwins in general hands down has the best ice cream but this location in particular is fantastic! The store manager Leon is beyond nice and makes for a really pleasant atmosphere. The rest of the staff is always very kind and professional. The establishment itself is always very clean! If you like ice cream this place has the best of the best! The fudge is out of this world! My favorite thing in particular is the milk chocolate covered Oreo cookies! Yum

Ice cream was delicious. However, the ordering process is very confusing for the customer. They have this one little sign that lists the prices and combos, which we found to be confusing. Staff was friendly, but more training is obviously needed.

I haven’t seen one of these in a very long time. Usually you have to drive into a country setting to find it. I found it in downtown Fort Lauderdale of all places. Right on Las Olas Avenue. The service was impeccable. The quality superb. The price is moderate. You gotta remember this is a tourist area. Therefore everything is going to be in perspective as far as price. The ice creams gotta be out of this world. But I only tried the fudge. And it was incredible. I’ll come back

It’s chocolate! How can you complain about delicious things covered in chocolate or chocolate covered in delicious things?! The ice cream is scrumptious, the fudge is decadent and the peanut pretzel bark is worth all of your dollars! Walking into this place you are wafted up into a cloud of sweet smells and literal eye candy… Leaving here you feel fat, but that’s okay! Drown your sorrows with more chocolate and all will be well with the world!(Exclamation points necessary due to massive sugar rush)

The absolute best ice cream in South Florida. Their pistachio is amazing. Their staff is courteous and will go the extra mile. Love Kilwins. It’s a little pricier than other creameries but it’s worth every penny

You’re really selling yourself short if you stop at Kilwins. The smell when you walk in is awesome, and their fudge and ice cream are pretty good, but the chocolate is waxy and flavorless. Do yourself a favor and walk a little further down Las Olas and try Hoffman’s Chocolates. You won’t be disappointed.

I love me some Kilwin’s! Kilwin’s is probably my favorite ice cream chain period. I love all of their creative flavors! The Las Olas location is probably my least favorite location though. I don’t like how cramped the store is, and I don’t like that there is never any bench space available to sit and enjoy the ice cream. I will say that the staff at this one are super nice! Seems like they mainly have young kids scooping the ice cream, but they are all really polite and very helpful. I will also credit the Las Olas store for being the location where I tried my new favorite flavor, Marshmallow S’more!!! Oh man was it delicious. I used to love Kilwin Tracks, but this one blew it out of the water. So good!

Loved their sea salt caramel ice cream. So many choices to choose from. They stay open pretty late til 11pm on weekends. Around bouquet shops and parking on the street was a bit difficult to find. But i much enjoy the ice cream.

We have been customers of Kilwin’s for years and years — But not anymore! We were very surprised when we went there a couple of weeks ago and were told by the ice cream clerk that if you order a kids cup($ 4.50), you cannot split the flavors for ½ scoop vanilla, ½ scoop chocolate — You MUST buy a double scoop for about $ 8.00 –RIDICULOUS, no kid could eat a huge double scoop and ½ the treat goes in the garbage — not to mention the additional $$. What a rip off. Never going back — They lost me for good!

Overpriced and too sweet for my liking. I came here for dessert and ordered a scoop of mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip cookie dough. Two scoops was $ 7.42 which I thought was way too pricey. Both of them lacked chocolate chips and the cookie dough had 1 dough. Both ice creams were super sweet and I didn’t even finish. Big portions though. I love ice cream and this was a cute shop but it was just too expensive and didn’t give me enough dough and chips in the ice cream.

Kilwin’s does ice cream right. Maybe it’s just me, but in today’s world of frozen yogurt, real ice cream seems to be fading away into oblivion. As soon as we walked in, a man at the counter offered us all a free sample of fudge. I tried the Pumpkin Spice Fudge, and I wasn’t blown away(I’m also not a huge fan of Pumpkin Spice anything, but I figured, why not). The actual store is very nice inside, as it reminds me of an old-fashion store you’d see in the movies. The place was very well maintained, and bright inside. I didn’t think there was much room to eat your ice cream in the store, so once you get your dessert, best to move out of the way. We came at night on a Sunday, so nobody was there customer-wise, but they did have a lot of staff on hand. I got a Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake, and it was good, but sadly no «wow» factor. It just tasted like melted chocolate ice cream, with a splash of peanut butter. Not the worst milkshake, but let’s just say I’ve had better. Also on the pricy side, especially for the amount they give you. If I am in the mood for ice cream and in the area, I will for sure come back here as opposed to spending double the amount of money on a dessert at a restaurant on Las Olas.

This place pales in comparison to the grandness of the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea location, but it suffices as it fits on Las Olas. Same great ice cream and other(overpriced) private label goodies, though the selection in all areas is understandably smaller. All for good reason, though. I am a Kilwin’s fan.

$ 5 single scoop of ice cream in a cup. Lines can get long in the evening. Staff will allow you to try as many ice creams as you want. There is only seating available outside on two benches. There is a wide variety of ice cream flavors to choose from… approximately 20 flavors. The flavors do change overtime. The $ 5 scoop is really a double. I wish they had a small portion for less money. The portion was big enough for two people to share. We had the salted caramel. It was creamy and full of flavor. They also serve fudge and other chocolate covered treats like pretzels and dipped oreos. There is metered street parking out front. It is a great place to visit after having dinner on Las Olas. My favorite ice cream in town is still found at Wilton Creamery, but Kilwin’s is convenient after dining on Las Olas.

Kilwins in downtown Las Olas is a must every time I visit. I enjoy sampling the fudge and settling in to a nice double dip of Kilwins tracks in a waffle cone. Everything I have ever had from Kilwins has been a delicious treat and it is worth the wait in line. Nothing is better to me than finishing off a nice night on Las Olas than with a Kilwins sweet treat.

Have you ever had that moment when you are about to take a bite into something delicious and time stops, everyone pauses around you, the silence relaxes and soothes your soul and the moment you hear: crunch: doves fly, opera singer sing a churchy«Auuuhhhhhh» and then you smile in pure bliss? Well, I get this feeling every time I order chocolate covered Oreos from Kilwin’s! They are absolutely delightfully delicious! Also, their ice cream is amazing and everything is freshly made! I live 45 minutes from the closest Kilwin’s and it is seriously worth the trip every time!!! Don’t be stingy to splurge $ 28 on 4 chocolate covered Oreos a handful of chocolate covered gummy’s(my hubby’s favorite) and a one scoop ice cream. It’s not cheap, but it is so worth it! Tastes like heaven!
