Outback Steakhouse

The place had a 3 course meal for $ 14.99 it was a great value, service was great and quick good location.

Made a return visit. Have no idea how to privately message the Outback person that asked me to regarding my last review.
This trip was overall better. Service was ok, food was ok — fried Mushroom app very good, ribeye flavor good but seriously dry, baked potato ok flavor but not fresh — held far too long.
I’ll try some other restaurants to find a favorite steak restaurant.

We really enjoyed our food and service. Everything was nice and hot. The wedge salad was an excellent side.

My coworker and I sat in a booth in the bar area. Myra was our server and she was excellent! The food was cooked well and the drink were good for being inexpensive. I would definitely go back again.

terrible service off 17^th street… long wait and when the table was ready we were never told… had to ask and when we did they said that we were called which was a lie. beeper never went off… 6 dirty tables and no one cleaning to make new tables… had to send one steak back out of four because it was burnt, second steak was ordered with the marsala additive, never happened… they did fix the first mix up but had to wait., had to wait for drinks and when we did get them some got diet others regular cola… never brought a beer we ordered… they offered some compensation but we just wanted to get out of there… very poorly managed… spend your money somewhere else… it was actually a embarrassing incident. not going back…

It’s a chain so I know what to expect. But we were seated when we were promised and the service was good. I had the tilapia with crabmeat which I would order again. No surprises but nothing great either.

First time at this location but I’ve tried a lot of them in other states. I have not yet had a bad experience with this chain.

The only reason I am giving this place two stars was because the service was great, the food however was inedible. The steak they served me was so gross I wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs and everything else was just loaded with salt… I haven’t been to an outback in years and I definitely will not go back

I use to like his place, but lately they forgot things very important like beer with no foam it doesn’t look refreshing… most important thing when I requested my ribeye 13 onz they forgot to put the blue cheese on the top and off course the have to put the steak in the fire for get chesse melt my ribeye became from medium rare to medium well I don’t like to send back food to kitchen twice… after second time come with bad vibe… I didn’t enjoy my steak, the atmosphere its really good nice fixtures good services but they are not serious with the food …

Unfortunately, the pictures on the menu does not reflect the actual plate in regards to size. Food is good but small portions. I ordered the Filet Mignon & Lobster with broccoli cheese as the side. I expected a massive chunk of meat and a huge lobster tail. My dish came out after my friends who ordered a similar dish with shrimp and steak. Their steak was thin.
The reason I voted 4 stars is due to the ladies bathroom; it is beautiful with lavender soap, nice stalls and artwork. I was amazed how nice it was for the establishment. The owner must be a woman.
Before meeting my party, I happen to catch happy hour. Good prices. $ 4 for the peach strawberry sangria. I noticed the floor behind the bar was wet and felt bad for the bartenders who have to walk up and down that wet floor.
The location is off of 17^th street causeway. Mainly the diners are tourists staying nearby overnight for a cruise or the «ship — yacht-​sailing» regulars.
Plenty of parking.

I’m sitting here at the bar watching 2 bar tenders run their fingers thru their hair. This is it! NEVER again. We’ve had poor service in the past. Gave it another try. Shame on us
My husbands salad came out 2 minutes prior to his meal. My steak is cold. All in all employees are here to socialize with each other. Forget about the customer.

I’m really disappointed about this visit. The only thing that was good was the service. The bloomin’ onion which is one of my favorites still had skin on it so we had to return it. We got the steak and shrimp combo but the steak was over cooked and tough. The cocktail that was recommended was not good at all. It really should not be on the menu. This will be my last time at Outback.

Well, it seems this location has kinda gone downhill. When I lived in Lauderdale I would visit this location a couple of times a month and had no complaints. Fast forward a few years, my wife and I are in town for a meeting and decided to visit this location. There was no wait on a Sunday afternoon which was nice. We sat down and the waitress asked if we wanted appetizers as we were handed the menu. Kinda rushed but no big deal. I ordered iced tea and my wife ordered water. Drinks were brought fast. She then ordered the ribeye cooked medium and I ordered a sirloin md rare. She also ordered a sangria (which never came). Her steak came out almost well done and mine md well. We mentioned it to the waitress who sent over the manager who did offer to re cook them. Nothing too bad overall, just not the most pleasant visit to what once was a really good location.

Went to the outback this evening for dinner. Ordered the 12oz primerib and a salad. Sat at the bar and the service was a little slow. Ordered my meal and waited 5 mins fir the salad to arrive. Soon after the salad arrived my primerib arrived. Irdered it medium rare. Came out ok but looked more like a 9 oz instead of a 12 oz. Also the cut of beef was a little tuff. Probably will not go back. For the price not worth it.

I’m an Outback fan and have been since day 1. Outback offers a consistent menu and a variety of favorites at a moderate price that work for the entire family including children.
At Outback, you can choose to sit at the bar area and see sports action on their tv’s or enjoy a booth which are also in the bar area. They also have a separate dining area that is built around the bar area. It is a good place for kids as the noise level is sometimes pretty healthy if the bar is full or there is a game on.
The menu works for lunch or dinner and I have been known to stop in there for a late night dinner as they usually serve until 11:00pm (may wanna check that).
My favorites include the Victoria Filet with the Lobster Tail and a blue cheese crust, their coconut shrimp, and their ribs are very good. Most dinner come with pumpernickel bread to get you started.
To finish, I recommend their Cinnamon Oblivion whose name speaks for itself. Enjoy.

Always a good choice. If you do not know your surroundings, outback is a no mistake place.

Good flavor. Pretty tuff and too much gristle for an$ 15 steak. Waiter forgot my drink. Didn’t ask about the mean and brought the check while I was ½ finished with the meal. I won’t be back. Oh. And medium equals mid rare here!

It was as sunday night and, even though this place was packed, we were seated in a timely manner.
Our server was Dawn, she was very nice, attentive and gave us some good recommendations. Everything was ok with our food and drinks.
In that particular day, there were a lot of families with loud, out-​of-​control kids, which is not really Outbacks fault, but I imagine is common here, and is the only negative thing I could mentioned. So if you are looking for a quite dinner, this is not a place for you.

Let me start off by saying I am a huge fan of Outback. I normally don’t eat at a lot of chain restruant but I love the menu and normally the service at Outback.
With that being said, when I saw the reviews on Unilocal were so low I couldn’t figure out how that could possibly be. So I went, now I know how many people are rating one star including myself.
We went on a Sunday about 7, long wait about 40 minutes. This is no problem, I don’t mind the wait, a good steak, soup and the endless shrimp are worth the wait. Also let me add I have waited many other times at outback, it fine everyone wants a good meal for a reasonable price.
As we sat I heard a waiter tell a customer not to order the French onion soup, she asked and he specifically said, «don’t get that, it takes to long and I can not guarantee it will come out before your meal.» I was shocked. I am sorry sir but isn’t this part of your job, to ensure appetizers, soups and salads come out before the main course?
I was going to get the soup but once we were seated wouldn’t you know he was our server. Robert W was his name, to describe him in a few words; loud, overbearing, curt and just fake. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks to the table. Three of us ordered the endless shrimp special. After one order of shrimp we were told they did not any more crunch shrimp. After our third order we were told they had no more shrimp at all. I wasn’t pigging out, the refill portions of shrimp are small, there are about eight shrimp and baby at that. No manager came to the table to offer a solution. Robert sarcastically offered a free desert but I did not want desert, I wanted shrimp.
Outback normally serves great steak and all around excellent dishes. I am not sure what is happening at this location but I will not be back.

Ok, it’s convenient, and it’s predictable. If you like Outback in your home town, you’ll like this one. Friendly staff, good value for steaks, and, if your’e lucky, near your hotel or home!
I was celebrating, and went for the ribeye. As I’m doing the Atkins still, this is a GREAT choice. Tell them to hold the bread, bring on the broccoli, and upsize your salad, and you’re almost carb free.

Super Fleisch, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Kellner war sehr schnell und aufmerksam.
Dies war schon unser zweiter Besuch in eine Outback Steakhouse und wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Sehr gutes Essen, typisch amerikanisch. Fleisch sehr gut und auch der kleine Cesarsalad für $ 3 einwandfrei. Kellner Adam war sehr lustig und hatte auch seinen Spaß mit uns. Tipp als Starter: Blooming Onion. In Bierteig friittierte Zwiebel.

Essen war wirklich gut und der Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants dieser Art wirklich günstig.
Also zu empfehlen und wir würden wieder hingehen.

Australisches Steakhaus in Fort Lauderdale mit netter Inneneinrichtung, wie alle Lokale der Kette.
Das Essen ist gut und der Preis angemessen.
Kinder bekommen vorab ein Malbuch und Crayons — es gibt auch Kindermenüs.
Das Personal ist freundlich, war aber ein wenig unkoordiniert, so dass wir insgesamt auch etwas lange auf das Essen warten mussten, obwohl es sehr leer war (Mittags).
Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz vor dem Restaurant.
