Okay, I’ve been shopping at this Publix for 2 years now and my opinion has changed a little. This is 1 of 3 Publix all within a short distance of my house. I’ve found that I prefer the big Publix on Peters and University but that the«little Publix» as my family calls it, is not that bad. While the selection is not as vast, it’s great for the basics and you can get in and out quickly. I come here at least 2x a week. The staff was declining for awhile– rude and barely spoke any English. I’m in Plantation not Hialeah right?! However, I’ve noticed an improvement lately with friendly, English speaking cashiers. Therefore I’ve raised my rating.

Fantastic staff here! As I was leaving I lost an earring and was frantic. Aaron, who had helped me with my groceries, searched high and low as I retraced my steps inside the store. He found it for me! Other workers and a few customers also stopped to try and help. What a great staff and community at this location. I will drive an extra mile or two to frequent this particular Publix.

This store has gone downhill. Unfortunately, I love the people who work there so I still shop there, but their meat, produce, and availability of items continues to fecline

I have to say by far this is the best Publix I ever been in. The whole entire store is well cleaned and the each department are at it best. When you walk in, to the right is the customer service and someone will greet you. Yea I know, it never happened before. And I saw a manager walking an elderly to the produce area and picked everything she wanted and walked her to the cashier and to the door. Wow. Impressed. I’m in the freezer area, one of the worker asked me if I would like a basket. I said of course, she got me a basket. Also told me, there is some good stuff on BOGO. Awesome, I want that. They didn’t had the almond milk I like, one of the other worker asked me if I need help. So I told him that I’m looking for this product. He asked me to wait for a minute while he checked the back. Came with two of it and said its on sale. Nice On the checkout line, this girl is so happy to help me. I asked, «let me ask you something, do you guys get paid more than other Publix» she laughed and told me no. But all I know is I found a new Publix to shop. 5 stars to all the employees and the Management

This is usually my go-to Publix shop for a few reasons. 1. The women at the sandwich area always crack me up. They are friendly and like to joke around. 2. The location is smaller than normal so it’s easy to get through. 3. I have ordered many cakes from their bakery for coworkers and they have all been amazing. The bakery experience is always great here for me. I can have a cake ready in less than 24hrs. The parking here can truly be horrible if you go at lunch or directly after work. You might as well walk there. They will only have one register open sometimes so waiting in line becomes something you must get used to. Being smaller, the selection isn’t that vast, but if you need your standard grocery items this is your place. Recently I was there listening to employees complain about their new schedules the entire time I was being checked out. As the disgruntled employee moaned I watched her literally throwing my items in the bad which I thought was very rude considering they were things that could have been broken. I hope that is not the overall vibe there.

The deli at this Publix is horrible. Every time I go they suggest I order online to save time and the past few times I have ordered online the order wasn’t ready by the time they said it would be. In fact, every time the order wasn’t even acknowledged or started when I showed up. All they can do is muster up a pathetic apology. One they told me order was just sent to the store 30 minutes after I placed the order. If you can’t get you act together don’t take online ordering. Beyond the deli, the cashiers are usually old and slow. They never have enough lines open and all the managers just stand around with blank stares on their face. The selection is measly at best, and they are usually out of most common items. If you can avoid this Publix, I suggest you do so at all costs.

Though not the worst publix I’ve ever been too, its probably the second worst. First, its really small so I only go for emergencies because its conveniently on the way home. When I get to the register one of the items wasnt ringing up. The cashier askednmenif I remembered how much it was, but I wasnt sure. Then he. says, «well you need to go check». I need to go check??? You’re the person who works here, its your job to price check. Seriously? Which brings mento the biggest problem here. When there’s a problem, dont count on getting it solved. Management at this location is completely useless and wont do anything about any situation.

Rude!!! Today my girlfriend and I came to this Publix like we always do because it’s right near our home, got our groceries and headed to the registers. Only to be greeted by some old dragon of a cashier. Like my girlfriend she forgot her card in the car and we had to leave our groceries for moment. We return minutes later to pay for our items and they were gone. I asked the dragon where they were and i was rudely asked to wait. I notice a young man putting our items back and I kindly asked for them back, as we headed to customer service here comes this old dragon leaving her register with customers to yell at my girlfriend and I from a distance making a scene. We find a manager and tell him the situation and this dragon cashier comes up to the three of us and proceeds with her nasty behavior in front of her manager. This situation was left with no resolution by the manger and at this point we just wanted to leave. We paid for our sub and left the rest of our items. Shopping was NOT A PLEASURE…

I love publix… This one is a great little quick stop. I can get in and out very quickly. The only downfall is that sometimes they don’t carry everything I’m looking for.

This place is tiny! But I’ll admit that it’s a very convenient location. I never had issues finding my kitchen staples here, but I do wish they had a wider selection of fresh produce to choose from. Like what others have said, if you need to find a special item that isn’t onions, garlic, tomatoes, lettuce… then you might want to find a larger Publix store. The aisles are kept really clean and organized, even during holiday rushes. There’s always a worker near by if you need any assistance with finding items. Sometimes their cashiers get bogged down by crazy coupon ladies, but I don’t blame them. How fast would you be able to scan and bag items when you have 50+ coupons to scan for only 15 items(sigh, but that’s a different issue altogether… crazy…coupon…ladies).

This publix is probably the worst one out there. They have awkwardly arranged isles, things are not stocked in an organized fashion– even when asking employees with help locating something, it takes them a while to find it and they usually comment on how odd their store arrangement is. They have limited items, and sometimes do not have what i’m looking for. Last week i ran in to get cilantro. None! Another time i went in for a jalepeno pepper– none either. They said they were temp. out of stock. Lastly, the parking lot is kind of small and has a strange lay out. We affectionately call this«the sad publix».

One of the smallest Publix I have been too, but it’s right next to work. Those last minute treats and quick checkout are a huge plus. Staff is always super sweet. Where shopping is always a pleasure.

This Publix is very small. They may not have everything but I always find what I need. I find the small size of the store to be very convenient. I like the fact that I can quickly find what I’m looking for when in a hurry.

Sooo today I had the Sushi combo BLEEEEEEEEHHHHH!!! Yuck yuck yuck!!! Gargle mouth with BLEACH! It was like eating tasteless oatmeal wrapped in toilet tissue, with a soggy gummi bear in the middle. I honestly didn’t know if I was eating tuna or salmon and I can ALWAYS taste the difference. But at least it was only 7 bucks for 16 peices. Yeah right! I’m still pissed I wasted my damn money!

Should be called Publix Express. Kinda small but it has all the basics. Great for a quick run to the store but if you need to stock up or are looking for something beyond the basics, try a bigger store.
